Couple Eaten Alive By Tiny Worms

A Victorian couple discovered they were being eaten alive by potentially deadly worms with teeth, after weeks of chronic sickness. The couple became infected after eating uncooked 'black bream' and ingesting gnathostomiasis larvae while camping in a remote part of Western Australia.

It is the first time humans have been infected by the rare parasite in Australia, The Australian Medical Journal reports. The parasite is common in South East Asia and Japan.

The worms are 1-3mm long, have got sharp teeth and can work their way around the body until it dies or is killed by the human immune system. "The parasite goes through the wall of your stomach and goes through your body." Alfred Hospital's Dr Andrew Fuller told 7News.

"It can eat through tissue."

The couple suffered vomiting, swellings on the skin, abdominal cramps, fevers, muscle pains and lethargy. The 52-year-old man told doctors he could even feel movement under his skin. The symptoms began about 10 days after the couple ate the fish, believed to be black bream.

Dr Fuller warned it could be a lethal infection, but added: "I wouldn't let this put you off going adventuring, but I think it's very important to cook things properly."A course of antibiotics killed the parasite and the couple are now said to be well.

The worms can live in the human body for up to 15 years, and can travel to the brain, vital organs and spinal cord. Dr Fuller says the parasite has been known to claim lives.

Quantum Physicists Prove That the Soul Exists!
Two world-renowned scientists of quantum physics claim to be able to prove the existence of the soul.

The scientists propose an incredible theory that states that near-death experiences happen when quantum substances that constitute the soul leave the nervous system and are introduced into the universe in general.

This concept is based on the perception of the brain as a biological computer with 100 billion neurons and synaptic connections, which act asinformation networks and can remain in the universe even after death, the fact that can explain the perceptions of those who almost experienced death.

British physicist Sir Roger Penrose and American anesthesiologist Dr Stuart Hameroff developed this quantum theory of consciousness claiming that human souls are located in the structures called microtubules that ‘live’ inside the brain cells.

During a near-death experience, microtubules lose their quantum state, but the information they keep is not destroyed. In other words, after death the soul does not disappear but returns to the universe. Therefore, the soul is more than just an interaction of neurons in the brain. In fact, it is created by the very structure of the universe and thus it may be as old as the beginning of time.

Quantum Physicists Prove That the Soul Exists!

So, let’s say that the heart stops beating and the blood stops flowing, then microtubules lose their quantum state but the quantum information in them cannot be destroyed, so it is distributed and diffused in the universe.

If the patient has revived, then the quantum information can return to microtubules and he says that he had a near death experience. However, in case of death of the patient, the quantum information can exist outside his body as a soul for an indefinite period of time

Alleged Fire Benders In Southeast Asia Mystify Scientists

In 2011 and 2012, two young girls, one in the Philippines and the other in Vietnam, came to the attention of the media for their pyrokinetic abilities. Their fascinating stories are told below.
Pyrokinesis is defined as the ability to excite or speed up an object's atoms thereby increasing its thermal energy until it ignites. The term is derived from the Greek pûr "fire" and kinesis "motion.” Stephen King coined the term in his 1980 novel, "The Firestarter." In the novel, protagonist Charlie McGee had the ability to create or control fire by thought. Pyrokinesis is often confused with Pyromancy, which is the art of divination using fire, similar to crystal ball gazing.

Philippines

In March 2011, news of a three-year-old child with super psychic abilities drew hundreds of curious people and media to her home in Antique Province in central Philippines, She can predict and mysteriously produce fire. Those witnessing her abilities swear to seeing clothes, sleeping mats, pillows, and paper ignite immediately after she predicted they would burn.

Mayor Molina of San Jose was one of hundreds who witnessed the phenomenon. He says he saw a pillow burst into flames immediately after the child said “fire . . . pillow." Once when Molina was in the child’s home, she blurted out "something about to burn," and a shirt on an outdoor clothesline inexplicably burst into flames.
“Nobody touched it or was even close to it. It just started in seconds. The shirt was on fire,” Molina said. Police officer Gorero saw five objects burn or smolder and the edges on a biscuit burn without anyone touching them.

“I did not believe it at first. Why would I? But we came to investigate after many people came to the girl’s house,” Gorero said. Molina has stationed police and watchers, as well as a fire truck at the home. He says authorities will assist with testing for the child and counseling for her anxious parents.

He was quoted in an interview with The Daily Guardian, a community newspaper in Iloilo City, as saying “I can’t explain it. I’m a town mayor, and I don’t easily believe in this kind of thing, but I saw it. I am at a loss,”

Psychic Joe Guia said the fires may have been created by evil spirits. When Guia attempted to conduct a psychic study, one of his books also got burned. Rose also has burn marks and wounds on her skin because of the fires.

Witnesses and experts remain baffled whether if the fires were created by the child's mind, or if they came from other elements.

Vietnam

In Vietnam in the spring of 2012, news spread of an 11-year-old “fire girl” in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Bin District whose supernatural abilities have scientists puzzled. She has the ability to start fires with her mind.

According to the girl’s father, fires appear whenever she goes. The electricity in their home short-circuited, and many electrical sockets in the house burned when the girl approached them. Mattresses, fans, and other items in their home mysteriously burst into flame.

Sometimes, even her clothes caught fire. The same phenomenon happened when the family visited the homes of others. A fire even started in their hotel room when they were on vacation, and she recently burned a corner of the toilet seat.

Doctors at Cho Ray Hospital and Children's Hospital No. 2 have examined the girl. Blood samples, skin tissue, and urine, as well as objects from her home have been analyzed. Doctors found nothing physically unusual about the girl, though scientists believe she is in fact unusual.

A group of scientists from various fields, led by Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Director of Ho Chi Min City International University of Hong Bang, visited the girl’s home. They collected soil, water, and objects from the girl’s home for analysis. The scientists rejected environment as the element causing the girl’s special ability because fires happened everywhere she goes.

Scientists theorize that the girl's biological energy is not stable and fluctuates from time to time. Brain scans uncovered an unusual line on the right side of her brain, which according to Hung, is a phenomenon that occurs only in the brains of priests, philosophers, or painters.

He also said there is a red mark on her forehead that disappears when she puts on a black quartz bracelet and reappears when the bracelet is removed. However, whenever the girl wears the bracelet, she not only feels uncomfortable, but also feels electric current running through her body.

Hung says she can “turn things around her,” and is able to burn objects both near and distant from her with no apparent distance limit.

The family took the girl to a scientist, named Du Quang Chau, at Hong Bang International University for treatment. After several tests, the scientist said he noticed variations from the norm in her cerebral hemisphere.

On May 12, 2012, the third floor of the family’s house burned down. They now have her monitored around the clock to prevent similar incidents. Water buckets and a wet towel are placed next to her bed in case a fire breaks out.

Scientists at the Viet Nam Physics Institute are also studying the case. In the meantime, the girl will be escorted to school and other places. Her home and school have been equipped with fire extinguishers.

Hung says, "This is a very strange case not only for Vietnam but for the world."

With suntanned skin and wearing Liberation shoes, Liu Lingchao is walking forward quickly while carrying a 1.5 meters wide, 2.2 meters tall “house” on his shoulders. After walking about 50 meters, he puts down his “house”, retraces his steps picking up discarded water bottles, sorts and places them in several woven bags, then lifts up his “house”, repeating this over and over again. 38-year-old Liu Lingchao is from Guangxi province Liuzhou city Rong’an county Tantou town.

20 years ago, he left his hometown to find work in the Guangzhou and Shenzhen area. After the idea of returning home came to him 5 years ago, he made a 60kg simple house like this, and departed from Guangdong walking towards his hometown. Along the way, Liu Lingchao refused to to accept anyone’s help, relying only on collecting discarded waste for a living, carrying his “house” forward on his journey by day, and camping out by the side of the road at night.

He has already worn out three such “houses”, and has about 20 kilometers more before arriving home. The reporter learned that there indeed is such a person from the town of Tantou in RongAn county, whose family lives in Longcun village in Longcheng. From Xinhua (Photos: Li Hanchi)

Diseased Meat From Cows With Tuberculosis Secretly Sold For Burgers And Pies By The Government

It has been flogging off beef that has tested positive for bovine tuberculosis for human consumption, making up to £10million a year

Schoolkids, hospital patients and the Armed Forces may all have unwittingly eaten diseased meat after it was secretly sold – by the Government.

In a shocking new public health scare it was revealed today the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has been flogging off beef that has tested positive for bovine tuberculosis for human consumption.

The department has been making up to £10million a year by offloading the meat to slaughterhouses since 2007.

And, astonishingly, a Defra spokesman insisted that it was safe to eat as the infection risk was “extremely low”.

The beef, from around 28,000 diseased animals a year, is banned by most supermarkets and burger chains.

But via the slaughterhouses it is going to some caterers and food processors – and finding its way into schools, hospitals and the military.

Some of it goes into snacks such a burgers, pies and pasties, while some ends up as pet food.

Major supermarkets such as Tesco refuse to touch the diseased meat due to “public health concerns surrounding the issue of bTB and its risk to consumers”.

But Defra sells it without any warning to processors or consumers that it comes from bTB infected cattle, it is claimed.

Tory MP Anne McIntosh, chairwoman of the Commons Environment, Food and Rural Affairs select committee, said the public should not be kept in the dark.

She said: “People need to know what they are eating. We need to know why this meat is being released on the market.”

Defra has been using money from the sales to help offset the £165.7million it has paid to farmers in compensation for slaughtering infected cattle.

When the Food Standards Agency finds cattle have been infected, the farmer is automatically compensated.

But a small percentage of the diseased meat passes a risk assessment test saying it is suitable for human consumption.

The carcasses are then sold to slaughterhouses around the UK.

The ministry’s assurances about the infected meat contrast with recent warnings by its own experts, who say rising levels of bTB in cattle are becoming a serious threat to human health.

They have used such claims to justify a cull of tens of thousands of badgers said to help spread the disease between cattle.

Dr Martin Wiselka, an expert in infectious diseases at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, said: “I’m a bit surprised as I thought infected cattle were removed from the food chain.

“The risk is small provided the meat is cooked to a high temperature all through to destroy the bacteria.

"Having said that I wouldn’t want to eat meat from an animal that has TB.

“Although very small, the risk is not absolutely zero. You can’t guarantee that by removing an infected gland you are removing all the bacteria.

“It’s possible it can get into a human. If you eat the bacteria and its passes through your stomach into your system you can get infected.”

Nigel Gibbens, Defra’s chief vet, warned recently: “If we do not maintain and improve our bTB controls… the risk of infection to other mammals and humans will inevitably increase.”

And in an interview with the scientific journal Nature, Ian Boyd, the department’s chief scientist, also warned that bTB could “spill over” to pets and “potentially to humans”.

But a Defra spokesman insisted: “All meat from cattle slaughtered due to bovine TB must undergo rigorous food safety checks before it can be passed fit for consumption.

“The Food Standards Agency has confirmed there are no known cases where TB has been transmitted through eating meat and the risk of infection from eating meat, even if raw or undercooked, remains extremely low."

Diseased Meat From Cows With Tuberculosis Secretly Sold For Burgers And Pies By The Government

However, experts say that mycobacterium bovis, the bacterium that causes bTB, can survive cooking at up to 60C.

Of the two main forms of tuberculosis, human TB is by far the most prevalent at around 9,000 UK cases a year – while the bovine strain is diagnosed in around 40 people.

Only about 60% of all TB victims are tested to see which strain is responsible. The real number of people suffering bTB is probably at least 70 a year.

According to Public Health England, for every person who develops the disease, another 10 become infected, but never develop symptoms – suggesting 600 to 700 people may be infected by mycobacterium bovis each year.

PHE’s website says: “Transmission can occur between animals, from animals to humans and, rarely, between humans.”

Bovine TB can take decades to develop so it is hardly ever possible to say whether any one person was infected by milk, meat or contact with animals.

One organic farmer said: “I’d rather eat something that had TB rather than filled with all sorts of drugs.

“People have got used to having cheap food and if you want cheap, you can’t afford to be picky.”

Ministry hit by another public health row

DEC 2012: A row erupted after Defra said collecting refuse once a fortnight increased recycling. MPs called weekly collections a “basic right” and the idea was rejected.

JAN 2013: A scandal embroiled the food industry after horse meat was found in products claiming to be beef.

Around 10 million suspect burgers were taken off shelves by retailers including Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, Iceland and Dunnes Stores.

Defra was criticised for allowing large quantities of horse meat to pass through UK’s food chain.

JUNE 2013: From the start of this month, farmers in two pilot areas in the south west of England have been permitted to shoot badgers to control TB in cattle – about 5,000 badgers will be culled.

Defra says action is needed to tackle bovine TB but groups against the cull say it will have no impact and could lead to local populations of badgers being wiped out.

Woman's Breast Rots After Mosquito Bites

Woman's breast rots after mosquito bites
Tiny insect bites on a holiday in Egypt left Natalie Thomason, 48, with a flesh-eating bug that made her breast rot.

She knew she had a few irritating mosquito bites and expected them to get better but after she got home they suddenly turned nasty.

Terrified, she rushed to her GP and was eventually diagnosed with necrotising fasciitis – known as flesh-eating bacteria syndrome.

Natalie, recovering at home, said: "It was eating my flesh and making it rot. Doctors warned me I could have to have my breast amputated. They told me if I'd waited just a few hours more before seeking medical help I could have died.

"The pain was indescribable. But most frightening was the speed the infection spread. One minute I was fine, the next I was in hospital fighting for my life. I really thought I was going to die. I couldn't believe I could become so ill from a few mozzie bites."

Natalie and her daughter Becky, 24, flew out to the Sharm el-Sheikh resort in March.

Five days into their holiday the pair had a trip to Cairo. It was here that Natalie had the bites that nearly led to her death.

Woman's breast rots after mosquito bites

The full drama began about a month after the holiday ended when the two marks on her breast and one on her arm began to swell.

Natalie said: "At first they came up as a blister. It was strange. I expected them to get better. I was worried but I never thought for a minute it was a sign of anything serious."

The next stage was rapid. In the space of a few hours the lumps grew larger and turned black. "It happened so fast. Within another hour they were oozing and smelt terrible. I now know that awful putrid smell was my own flesh rotting."

Her son Laurie, 26, insisted she should go to her GP and ask to be seen without an appointment. Natalie said: "I knew it wasn't right so I just turned up at the surgery. As soon as he examined me he called a colleague to have a look.

"They both said I had to go straight to hospital. By now the lumps were large black weeping craters in my breast that were oozing pus. The rest of my breast was purple.

"Finally I was wheeled into surgery where the lumps were cut out. Even doctors were horrified how large and deep they were."

For five days Natalie was kept apart from other patients while a team ran tests to find out what was wrong with her.

Thankfully after a few days the antibiotics kicked in. Nurses had been regularly flushing the infections with strong disinfectants and the bites began to look like healing.

Natalie, from Northampton, was discharged but she was weak and bedridden and had to take five weeks off from her telecoms job.

She said: "Doctors believed the necrotising fasciitis bug entered me through the bite wounds when I went in the sea. It then multiplied until it exploded."

There are purple scars on her breast but they should fade. Professor David Lalloo, of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, said of the case: "This is a rare occurrence but there is a risk of necrotising fasciitis infection with any open wound which is exposed to sea water or fresh water." - Mirror

Woman Who Cries Blood, Yaritza Oliva

We've heard of people crying tears of joy, but tears of blood?

It may sound pretty strange, but the mysterious condition has cropped up in the past. Now, Yaritza Oliva, a 20-year-old Chilean woman who cries blood, is the latest person believed to suffer from haemolacria.

According to local reports, Oliva started to inexplicably bleed from her eyes earlier this month. At the time, doctors were baffled by the symptoms and prescribed eye drops to ease the pain, which Oliva said is "indescribable."

A simple eye infection and conjunctivitis -- inflammation of the eye -- were ruled out since Oliva continued to shed tears of blood several times per day. Her family did not have the means to enlist and expert, so they asked others to donate funds so that a specialist could determine the cause of the bleeding and treat Oliva, 24 Horas reports.

Woman Who Cries Blood, Yaritza Oliva

While doctors have not officially diagnosed the 20-year-old, it's likely that she is one of several people to develop haemolacria, a rare condition marked by bleeding from the eyes.

In 2009, a teenage boy was found to have similar symptoms, crying blood up to three times a day. Doctors tentatively stated that the condition is haemolacria, but they said they had to confirm the finding since the unusual symptom has presented itself in patients who have other ailments.

In March, for example, a Canadian man began crying tears of blood. From his other symptoms, which included bleeding from various areas of his body, a medical team determined a venomous snake bite was the culprit and administered an anti-venom.

Though studies on haemolacria have dated back to the 1970s, very little is known about the rare physical condition or what causes it.

Chandra Wisnu, the Indonesian man known as the "Bubble Skin Man," has spent the last 25 years trying to find a cure for the bizarre condition that caused bubble-like tumors to erupt on his body.

Now, at last,he may have found the cause, thanks to Maryland-based dermatologist Anthony Gaspari, and while no cure exists, he may be able to improve his quality of life.

Chandra Wisnu, The 'Bubble Skin Man' Of Indonesia

Gaspari flew to Indonesia to examine Wisnu and his family.

The diagnosis: an extreme case of Neurofibromatosis type I (NF-1), a tumor disorder that is caused by a gene malfunction and causes non-cancerous lumps.

The disease is genetic and affects up to one in 2500 people. Joseph "John" Merrick, better known as the "Elephant Man," was said to have suffered from this condition.

The lumps first appeared on Wisnu when he was 19, spread to his back by age 24 and covered his entire body by the time he was 32.

The 58-year-old Indonesian man has been going to doctors and alternative healers for years. However, until now he had been unable to find out the cause of the tumors -- or to get relief from the itching.

"One alternative healer cut out fatty tissue and told my father to bury it under a banana tree," Wisnu said on "Bubble Skin Man," a documentary  on TLC.

"There was no improvement."

Back To The Future? Scientist Claims To Have Invented A Time Machine

Iranian scientist claims to have invented 'time machine' that can predict the future... but can only see eight years ahead.

An Iranian scientist claims he has invented a time machine that allows you to predict the future with 98 per cent accuracy. Ali Razeghi says his device can produce a print-out detailing any individual's life between five and eight years in advance after taking readings from the touch of a user.

He claims the Iranian government, whose nuclear programme has caused concern around the world, can use his invention to predict military conflicts and forecast the fluctuations in the value of foreign currencies and oil.

He says the device is the size of a laptop and uses a complex set of algorithms which took him ten years to develop, but has not revealed any concrete details about his invention. Unlike the time-travelling DeLorean in hit film Back To The Future, Mr Razeghi said his device 'will not take you into the future, it will bring the future to you.'

He told the Fars state news agency: 'My invention easily fits into the size of a personal computer case and can predict details of the next five to eight years of the life of its users.

'Naturally a government that can see five years into the future would be able to prepare itself for challenges that might destabilise it. As such, we expect to market this invention among states as well as individuals once we reach a mass production stage.'

Mr Razeghi, who claims he has 179 inventions listed under his name, has been criticised by friends and family for 'trying to play God.'

But he said: 'This project is not against our religious values at all. The Americans are trying to make this invention by spending millions of dollars on it where I have already achieved it by a fraction of the cost. Iran was not planning to launch the prototype just yet in case 'the Chinese will steal the idea and produce it in millions overnight'.

Iran has been ridiculed in recent months after attempting to showcase its technological advances only to face accusations they were faked. In February, it proudly unveiled a stealth fighter jet at a ceremony attended by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but experts quickly expressed serious doubts about whether it could even fly.

A picture of the domestically produced Qaher-313 apparently soaring over Iranian mountains did little to curb scepticism amid claims the plane never actually left the ground, but was simply doctored using Photoshop.

Critics also believe Iran's claims that it launched a monkey into space could have been faked.
Scientists in Tehran hailed the mission to send a simian 75 miles above Earth and back in a Kavoshgar rocket as a success.

But question marks were raised after the monkey presented to the nation as the heroic astronaut looked remarkably different than the one which made lift off.

Snowden Revelations Strike Fear Into Putin

Snowden Revelations Strike Fear Into Putin

During the past two months I’ve watched in absolute awe and amazement the events which have seen a 30-year-old American high-school dropout consciously declare a personal war against the entire United States Federal Government that to this very day continues to shock the entire world, and so much so that even Russian President Putin is now in fear of what this man may reveal next.

This most unlikely of hero’s is named Edward Snowden, whose skills and computer expertise allowed his rise through the both the US Central Intelligence and National Security Agencies to his final job at the American mega-intelligence defense firm of Booz Allen, a position he acknowledged he took in order to gain access to Americas most closely guarded secrets.

As to why this seemingly normal man would deliberately place himself in open conflict with the most dreaded and feared nation on earth was explained this past weekend by the intrepid and fearless London Guardian Newspaper reporter Glen Greenwald, who explained [see video HERE] that Snowden’s motives were simple…He no longer wanted to live in the world being created by the United States that believed in its rights to destroy forever and completely the privacy and freedoms of all humanity.

By declaring his war against the United States Government, Snowden, also, freely acknowledges his life, for all intents and purposes, is over, and even though he knows his final fate may very well be spent in a dark prison hole never to again see the light of day, at best, or at worst be killed for actions, he declared it was his duty as a citizen of the United States to defend his nations Constitution against those who are destroying it, no matter how powerful his enemies would be, or what personal cost to him it would cost.

Snowden Revelations Strike Fear Into Putin

Now contrary to what you may think, Snowden’s life is not only in danger because of the secrets he is revealing, but rather the fear he has instilled in Americas power-elite that such a lowly person of courage has risen against them. And as history has long proven, revolutions always start with one ordinary person’s act of courage, which becomes contagious, then infectious, and finally explodes to overturn all that previously existed.

One such person was named Tarek al-Tayeb Mohamed Bouazizi, a 27-year-old Tunisian man who on 17 December 2010 set himself on fire in protest to the humiliation he suffered by hands of his nations elite class. The fire stared by Bouazizi continues to burn to this very day, called the Arab Spring, and has brought down, so far, at least 5 governments, and, as many fear, could likely be the final spark needed to set off World War III.

Snowden’s actions, likewise, are threatening to ignite an already smoldering American public who just this week are faced with the astounding paradox of a 40-year-old California man named Jeff Olson who faces 13 years in jail for scribbling anti-bank messages on sidewalks in chalk (and the US Judge has ordered that he can’t use his First Amendment Rights as a defense), while at the exact same time former Goldman Sachs banker and Governor of New Jersey, and staunch Obama regime backer Jon Corzine has learned he will not face prosecution for stealing over $1 billion of his customers money.

After all, asserts the Obama regimes Attorney General Eric Holder, whereas ordinary US citizens, like Olsen, are faced with the harshest of punishments for even the smallest sign of disobedience to the state, elites like Corzine are simply “too big to prosecute or jail.”

Snowden Revelations Strike Fear Into Putin

Now into this volatile mix comes Snowden, whose revelations have shown the truth of what we have been telling all who cared to listen for over a decade…Your government is watching you every day in every way for the sole purpose of criminalizing your very existence, and should you even dare to show any type of courage against them you’ll be destroyed.

At the very top of this page, in fact, are two top-secret documents released by Snowden showing the truth that not only is everything you do is being captured and stored by the US government, but that the very top-brand Internet companies (Microsoft, Facebook, Google, etc.) are helping them do it!

And not just to everything you do on the Internet either is no longer private, but a new document released by Snowden now reveals that the NSA is capturing over 1 billion cell phone calls a day so they can store them and listen to them too.

But the worst of what Snowden has yet to reveal is what has caused former US President George W. Bush to rush to Tanzania to meet with Obama and for Putin to say today that Snowden may stay in Russia, if he wants to, but only if he stops activities aimed against the United States. “There is one condition if he wants to remain here: he must stop his work aimed at damaging our American partners. As odd as it may sound from me,” Putin told a media conference in Moscow.

However, as “odd” as Putin’s statement may be to others, for those of us who have seen what Snowden has to tell there are no words to describe the terror his revelations have the potential to unleash upon the entire world.

The truth about the events of 11 September 2001 and who was behind it? Snowden’s got it. The truth about the many assassinations of prominent researchers and scientists investigating viruses? Snowden’s got it. The truth about what are called chemtrials? Snowden’s got it. The truth about crop circles and the “power” behind their making? Snowden’s got it.

Snowden Revelations Strike Fear Into Putin

And, perhaps, the most important: The truth behind the 9 December 2009 Norway Spiral and how that event ties in with the Norwegians now buying Bibles in record numbers and the information released by the Sorcha Faal in her seminal 2010 book titled “Battle Begins For Throne of This World: The Return of the Einherjar Warriors”.

Now as you can fully understand, while at the same time the information we have we want you to know too, when even Putin is frightened enough to say Snowden must stop his work to stop damaging “our American partners,” our fears are not only justifiable, but sanely prudent.

But, were going to do it anyway…but to do so we need your help, and NOW!

Unlike other reporting and news organizations, we are uniquely suited to disseminate information that would otherwise be deemed to dangerous or unlawful to release to the public. After all, who really listens to conspiracy theorists?

In knowing what we’re doing, however, the attacks against us, especially our infrastructure, have already begun, and to continue we need to be a lot stronger than we are now. Unfortunately though, as we are reader supported that means we need you to help us.

So, and simply, help us help you so that this most critical of information can get out into the world. And believe me when I say….there isn’t a lot of time left!

4 Answers To What Happens When We Die

Despite the enormous strides in science in the last decades, it still cannot give an explanation of what happens to us after we die. At the same time, many studies on near-death experiences show that these fleeting, almost supernatural experiences are reported by hundreds of thousands of people who have been on the shores of death. This combination of progress and lack of results has led to the emergence of a variety of theories in recent years. Below there are the most common of them.
Answer 1: There is afterlife
In 2008, Dr. Eben Alexander, a neurosurgeon at Harvard Medical School, fell into a deep coma caused by bacterial meningitis.
After seven days of brain death, Dr. Alexander he woke up from the coma. His memories of the coma varied from obscure visions to a journey through the ‘core’, in which he met with the God. As a result, he realized that there is another kind of existence except the one he knew and studied.
Most scientists believe that “when the brain dies, the same happens to the mind or soul or self”. But the experience of Dr. Alexander shows that this is not the whole truth: how can a person with a dead brain have a rich spiritual experience if his soul has died too?

4 Answers To What Happens When We Die
Answer 2: The mind can function without the physical body
Dr. Bruce Greyson, a psychiatrist of the University of Virginia, is a leading expert in near-death experiences and has studied over 100 cases of near-death episodes. From his work he learned that many patients claim of having experienced a sense of peace and separation from the physical body. Also there are cases when people claim to have metdeities or their deceased loved ones.
Although the majority of scientists considers such experiences nothing more than illusionscaused by the difficult condition when the brain is under tremendous pressure, Greyson thinks that near-death experiences prove the hypothesis that the mind can function without the physical body.
Answer 3: We never really die
Robert Lanza, the one who developed the biocentrism theory, argues that as far as space and time exist only as tools of better understanding the world around us, they do not exist without consciousness and therefore in reality we never die. In his opinion, “death is a reboot that leads to all the latent possibilities”.

China: Woman's Breast Implant Explodes After Playing Games for 4 Hours

A Chinese woman's breast implants exploded after she lay on her stomach for too long while playing video game on her mobile phone.

The 26-year-old resident of an apartment in Beijing, China, felt a pain in her chest after lying on the bed for four continuous hours while playing Dragon Summon on her iPhone.

When she was taken to the hospital by her family, the doctors confirmed that a low quality implant in her breasts had ruptured due to prolonged pressure on it.

According to a report in SZNews, the unidentified woman underwent a surgery for breast implants five years ago, in order to boost her low self-esteem.

This is not the first time a case of breast implant explosion has been reported.

In 2011, a woman from Britain suffered breast implant rupture when she got shot in the chest while playing Paintball at Croydon town in south London.

Following the incident, the UK Paintball adjusted its policies and warned all the women with breast implants to wear extra padding.

"We respectfully ask that any ladies with surgical breast implants notify our team at the time of booking," a statement on its website said.

"You will be given special information on the dangers of paintballing with enhanced boobs and asked to sign a disclaimer," the statement further said.

Also, in February 2012, an Ohio woman subjected to domestic violence suffered a breast implant rupture when her boyfriend beat her up. During the attack, the woman's boyfriend had stomped on her chest, causing severe damage to her left breast.

According to National Health Services website, a breast implant explosion or rupture is "a split that occurs in the implant's casing."

The website further says that such ruptures could happen due to the implant's shell getting weaker over time, if they are damaged during the operation, when the breast is injured or if the implant is faulty.

In case of a breast implant rupture, the NHS advises women to go to a GP immediately if any of the following symptoms: "lumpiness, swelling, change in shape, deflation, redness, tenderness, or pain or sensitivity in or around the breast."

Man Caught On CCTV Having Sex With Bicycle

Police in Sweden are hunting a man who was caught on camera having sex with a BICYCLE.

The man was caught in the act after the bike's owner set up a CCTV camera outside his house to find out who had been slashing his tyres.

Footage of the bizarre bike bonk shows a hooded figure straddling the rear tyre, while clutching a piece of paper.

The man then punctures a tyre and masturbates while it deflates.

Police in the city of Osterlund are probing a possible link to a similar string of crimes that occurred in the area back in 2007.

Then a 35-year-old man was arrested for allegedly slashing the tyres of TWENTY bikes, before ejaculating over the saddles.

Meanwhile, the bike's owner Per Edstrom insists he doesn't hold any grudges - he just wants the mystery man to leave his beloved bike alone.

He said: "I am not scared of him, just irritated over all the punctures I have had to fix.

"This man is probably completely harmless - bicycles are just his thing."

Governments Know About A Possible Pending Global Disaster — 2013

World powers know about a possible pending destruction, but are not announcing it, in order to take advantage of the common man's ignorance...

The main stream media has focused mainly on the global unrest and have remained quiet of environment situations. Governments have remained quiet. Scientists have stayed mum for now.

For those who are not yet aware that governments take precautions for a possible global disaster, here are some remarkable facts:

The U.S. Space Shuttle launched its last mission in mid-2011. At that time, NASA entirely abanded it’s government-funded manned spaceflight program.

The Svalbard Global Seed Vault was sealed in 2011. This seed bank will allow the world to restart agriculture given a global catastrophe.

The impending total collapse of the global financial system. It is as if various governments are not expecting to have to pay back their debts, perhaps anticipating a global economic reset due to reasons not currently stated.

Governments, Organisations and Military building at an increased rate World Wide Underground Survival Bunkers. The rise of Bunkers being built around the World be almost 700% in the past 3-5 years. The governments of the world have been building 1000's of deep underground bunkers (D.U.M.B.s) for many years.

The U.S. is digging huge underground facilities in inhospitable regions difficult for the masses to reach!

China is digging extraordinary subway complexes under most of its major cities in a crash program that seems odd in terms of timing and scope.

Russia announced in 2011 that it is adding 5,000 new nuclear bomb shelters in Moscow, enabling it to protect all of Moscow's residents. The project had to be ready in 2012.. Russia's new subway systems have also been place deeper than needed so that they can be used as deep emergency shelters.

The Norwegian government is building more and more underground bases and bunkers. When asked, they simply say that it is for the protection of the people of Norway.

Fema Camps: Over the past few years, FEMA has been very busy, building 'camps' and has acquired millions of body bags. They are also stockpiling millions of tons of dried food. A public service announcement from FEMA in 2011, suggesting that we all get a survival kit, in case our ‘world is turned upside down’ and DHS is buying for billions of rounds of ammo! Why?

Why all these preparations, and why the rush?

Solar activity will continue to increase as the solar cycle progresses toward solar maximum, expected in the 2013 time frame.

NASA is now predicting that the Sun may generate unprecedented solar storms for a lengthy period in 2013.  They cannot accurately predict Earth's normal weather a week in advance, and it is by no means clear how NASA can do this with respect unprecedented weather on the Sun years in advance. They are saying that they are more dependent on vulnerable computer technology now. But we had similar dependencies in 2001 and 1990 when previous 11-year solar cycles hit. What is different about the current cycle?

Remote viewing experts mention a mysterious "object" about 13 by 30 kilometers, heading towards our Sun. (Maybe Comet ISON?).

Some might suggest that NASA is acting as if it has some extra information that is not currently stated! Besides, Darkskywatcher74 suggest that NASA is changing and manipulating orbital diagrams for comet C/2012 C1 - ISON.

Comet ISON as seen on May 2, 2013. The tail lenght is much bigger than expect..

Recent data from the remote viewing sessions, shows the mysterious "object" to approach our planet from the opposite side of the Sun. They say it will approach so close that it might break apart, turning into many smaller objects.

If it remains intact, the trajectory calls for an approach to our planet by an orbit a little greater than that of our Moon. But if it breaks apart from its close approach to the Sun, this may change.

Remote viewers predicting events that would happen prior to a solar or meteor impact.

The remote viewers were able to give two: The detonation of another nuclear bomb by North Korea (The Korean detonation happened February 11, 2013 - the same day the Pope resigned) and the emergency landing of some type of flying vehicle (Perhaps the escape pod of the international space station) because of debris falling towards Earth.

A sign?

Space rock left a bullet-sized hole in ISS solar panel

The unusual activities from governments and organizations, the analysis from the remote viewers, the solar maximum this year, the significant increase in meteors and meteorites exploding near the earth's surface, and  a space rock left a bullet-sized hole in an ISS solar panel and there was a radiator ammonia leak at the ISS.(Astronauts complete contigency spacewalk to repair leak).

Is it possible that all these preparations, predictions and signs refer to a pending meteor shower?

Rather than a meteor or comet, a massive meteor shower that will hit the earth, soon very soon?

Time will tell.

The End Is Near: Earth is Headed for Catastrophic Collapse, Scientists Warn

Earth is rapidly headed toward a catastrophic breakdown if humans don't get their act together, according to an international group of scientists.

Writing Wednesday (June 6) in the journal Nature, the researchers warn that the world is headed toward a tipping point marked by extinctions and unpredictable changes on a scale not seen since the glaciers retreated 12,000 years ago.

"There is a very high possibility that by the end of the century, the Earth is going to be a very different place," study researcher Anthony Barnosky told LiveScience. Barnosky, a professor of integrative biology from the University of California, Berkeley, joined a group of 17 other scientists to warn that this new planet might not be a pleasant place to live.

"You can envision these state changes as a fast period of adjustment where we get pushed through the eye of the needle," Barnosky said. "As we're going through the eye of the needle, that's when we see political strife, economic strife, war and famine."

The danger of tipping

Barnosky and his colleagues reviewed research on climate change, ecology and Earth's tipping points that break the camel's back, so to speak. At certain thresholds, putting more pressure on the environment leads to a point of no return, Barnosky said. Suddenly, the planet responds in unpredictable ways, triggering major global transitions.

The most recent example of one of these transitions is the end of the last glacial period. Within not much more than 3,000 years, the Earth went from being 30 percent covered in ice to its present, nearly ice-free condition. Most extinctions and ecological changes (goodbye, woolly mammoths) occurred in just 1,600 years. Earth's biodiversity still has not recovered to what it was.

Today, Barnosky said, humans are causing changes even faster than the natural ones that pushed back the glaciers — and the changes are bigger. Driven by a 35 percent increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide since the start of the Industrial Revolution, global temperatures are rising faster than they did back then, Barnosky said. Likewise, humans have completely transformed 43 percent of Earth's land surface for cities and agriculture, compared with the 30 percent land surface transition that occurred at the end of the last glacial period. Meanwhile, the human population has exploded, putting ever more pressure on existing resources.

"Every change we look at that we have accomplished in the past couple of centuries is actually more than what preceded one of these major state changes in the past," Barnosky said.

Backing away from the ledge

The results are difficult to predict, because tipping points, by their definition, take the planet into uncharted territory. Based on past transitions, Barnosky and his colleagues predict a major loss of species (during the end of the last glacial period, half of the large-bodied mammal species in the world disappeared), as well as changes in the makeup of species in various communities on the local level. Meanwhile, humans may well be knotting our own noose as we burn through Earth's resources.

"These ecological systems actually give us our life support, our crops, our fisheries, clean water," Barnosky said. As resources shift from one nation to another, political instability can easily follow.

Pulling back from the ledge will require international cooperation, Barnosky said. Under business-as-usual conditions, humankind will be using 50 percent of the land surface on the planet by 2025. It seems unavoidable that the human population will reach 9 billion by 2050, so we'll have to become more efficient to sustain ourselves, he said. That means more efficient energy use and energy production, a greater focus on renewable resources, and a need to save species and habitat today for future generations.

"My bottom line is that I want the world in 50 to 100 years to be at least as good as it is now for my children and their children, and I think most people would say the same," Barnosky said. "We're at a crossroads where if we choose to do nothing we really do face these tipping points and a less-good future for our immediate descendents."

Human Head Transplant Surgery Is Now Possible, Says Neuroscientist

As face transplants become common, will head transplants be next?

Technical barriers to grafting one person’s head onto another person’s body can now be overcome, says Dr. Sergio Canavero, a member of the Turin Advanced Neuromodulation Group. In a recent paper, Canavero outlines a procedure modeled on successful head transplants which have been carried out in animals since 1970.

The one problem with these transplants was that scientists were unable to connect the animals’ spinal cords to their donor bodies, leaving them paralyzed below the point of transplant. But, says Canavero, recent advances in re-connecting spinal cords that are surgically severed mean that it should be technically feasible to do it in humans. (This is not the same as restoring nervous system function to quadriplegics or other victims of traumatic spinal cord injury.)

As Canavero notes in his paper:

“The greatest technical hurdle to [a head transplant] is of course the reconnection of the donor’s (D)’s and recipients (R)’s spinal cords. It is my contention that the technology only now exists for such linkage…. [S]everal up to now hopeless medical connections might benefit from such a procedure.”

It’s worked before, in animals

The procedure Canavero outlines is very much like that used by Robert White, who successfully transplanted the head of a rhesus monkey onto the body of a second rhesus in 1970. First, both patients must be in the same operating theater. Then the head to be transplanted must be cooled to between 12°C and 15°C (54.6°F and 59°F). Moving quickly, surgeons must remove both heads at the same time, and re-connect the head to be preserved to the circulatory system of the donor body within one hour. During the reconnection procedure, the donor body must also be chilled, and total cardiac arrest must be induced.

Once the head is reconnected, the heart of the donor body can be re-started, and surgeons can proceed to the re-connections of other vital systems, including the spinal cord.

Connecting the spinal cord is the final barrier

Connection of a spinal cord from the head of one creature to the body of another has never been attempted even in animals, so Canavero’s paper must be taken as an exercise in speculation. However, the severing and re-connection of spinal cords in the same animal has met with limited success in the past. Just this week, scientists at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic were able to restore limited connectivity between the two severed halves of spinal cords in rats.

The re-connection of spinal cords can be accomplished through the encouragement of the body’s natural healing mechanisms, which are at work even in the severed spinal cord. But Canavero’s proposal is different: By cutting spinal cords with an ultra-sharp knife, and then mechanically connecting the spinal cord from one person’s head with another person’s body, a more complete (and immediate) connection could be accomplished. As he notes in his paper:

“It is this “clean cut” [which is] the key to spinal cord fusion, in that it allows proximally severed axons to be ‘fused’ with their distal counterparts. This fusion exploits so-called fusogens/sealants….[which] are able to immediately reconstitute (fuse/repair) cell membranes damaged by mechanical injury, independent of any known endogenous sealing mechanism.”

Canavero hypothesizes that plastics like polyethylene glycol (PEG) could be used to accomplish this fusing, citing previous research showing that, for example, in dogs PEG allowed the fusing of severed spinal cords.

Huge implications for some disorders, at a cost

Paraplegics with qualifying injuries (i.e., enough spinal cord left intact to allow for a head transplant) could in theory regain the full use of a (donor) body. Likewise, patients with muscular dystrophy could be given whole new lives. Aside from the enormous technical challenges a head transplant would present, another potential barrier is cost. Canavero estimates that the total cost of a head transplant would be at least €10 million euros ($13 million.)

The bioethics of such a procedure are also extremely controversial.

Brain-eating Amoebas Thrive In US Lakes As Global Warming Heats Waterways

Brain-eating Amoebas Thrive In US Lakes As Global Warming Heats Waterways

It’s a fatal infection without an effective treatment, and one that strikes in a decidedly gruesome manner: An amoebic organism lurking in water is inadvertently inhaled during a swim on a hot summer’s day. From there, it travels through the nasal passage and into the brain, where it multiplies, devours one’s cerebral fluid and gray matter, and almost invariably causes death.

These "brain-eating amoebas" — known to doctors and scientists as Naegleria fowleri, or N. fowleri — aren’t believed to kill often. In the US, researchers estimate that between three and eight people die from N. fowleri disease, commonly referred to as PAM (primary amebic meningoencephalitis) each year. But that might not be the case for long. In recent years, N. fowleri has popped up in unexpected locations, which some experts suggest is a sign that warmer waters — caused by brutal summer heat waves and rising temperatures across the country — are catalyzing their spread.

"WE’LL SEE N. FOWLERI POPPING UP FARTHER AND FARTHER NORTH."

"The climate is changing, and let me tell you, so is this," says Travis Heggie, an associate professor at Bowling Green State University who’s tracked the amoebas for several years. "If warm weather keeps up, I think we’ll see N. fowleri popping up farther and farther north."

That speculation seems to be reinforced by recent cases of PAM, once a health woe confined to fresh water in southern states like Texas and Arizona. In Minnesota, public health officials were stunned to see two fatalities caused by N. fowleri — both young children — in 2010 and 2012. The cases are the only in state history, and occurred about550 miles farther north than any previous reported PAM fatality in the US. The amoebas have also recently killed swimmers in Kansas and Virginia, both states where earlier infections have been exceedingly rare. "You could certainly say it’s a concern of ours," said Jonathan Yoder, an expert with the CDC’s division of parasitic diseases, about the seeming progression of N. fowleri to colder regions. "We’re still trying to understand this."

Brain-eating Amoebas Thrive In US Lakes As Global Warming Heats Waterways

"AN ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS IS BASICALLY SERENDIPITY."

Victims of PAM are typically young men, who take in the amoeba when they dive or splash around in rivers, lakes, or swimming pools that haven’t been properly chlorinated. And in two separate 2011 instances, individuals died of PAM after using neti pots filled with contaminated tap water to rinse their nasal passages. The amoeba doesn’t cause health problems when ingested orally — stomach acid kills the organism — so a patient can only fall ill if they’re taking water up the nose. Once they do, however, a single amoeba is enough to yield disastrous consequences: individuals usually feel fine for around a week, but then experience a puzzling array of symptoms, including headaches, vomiting, and confusion. That incubation period, combined with relatively common symptoms and the rarity of the infection, make accurate diagnosis exceptionally hard. "It’s not something that’s necessarily touched on in medical school," William Schaffner, a professor of preventive medicine at Vanderbilt University, said. "You have to really probe what patients were doing in the last several days, you have to ask if they were swimming. Honestly, an accurate diagnosis is basically serendipity."

This diagnostic challenge is one factor that helps explain why N. fowleri is accompanied by a 99 percent fatality rate — since 1962, there’s only one documented case of a US patient surviving PAM. But researchers also note that there’s no tried-and-true treatment. Patients are often beyond saving by the time they’re diagnosed, so the existing protocol, a cocktail of antifungal and antibiotic drugs, simply hasn’t been used on enough people to know how well it works. "That’s very frustrating for us," Yoder said. "Did the treatment only work that one time? Does it work at all? Would other treatments work better? We just don’t know."

"IN OTHER BRAIN INFECTIONS, WITH DIFFERENT AMOEBAS, WE HAVE SEEN IT WORK."

Right now, experts at the CDC are working to resolve that problem — and better establish where N. fowleri might emerge in the future. Earlier this month, the agency received FDA clearance to import and stockpile miltefosine, a breast cancer drug that kills off N. fowleri in lab tests. "It’s certainly worth a shot," Yoder said. "In other brain infections, with different amoebas, we have seen it work."

The agency is also collecting environmental data on each case of PAM, in an effort to one day issue "targeted warnings" based on weather and water conditions that make the proliferation of N. fowleri — and subsequent infection — more likely. "We want to know what the water temperature was, whether there was a heat wave, what were the humidity levels," Yoder explained. In an ironic twist, however, PAM’s rareness makes such research much more difficult. "If you had thousands of observations, it would be much easier to do this," Yoder said. "Obviously, we’re short on data."

Brain-eating Amoebas Thrive In US Lakes As Global Warming Heats Waterways

DOCTORS MAY HAVE MISDIAGNOSED PATIENTS WHO ACTUALLY DIED BECAUSE OF N. FOWLERI

Heggie, for one, also suspects that PAM is already much more common that experts think. In his own research, he says he’s found N. fowleri in some surprising spots, including water far below 86 degrees — widely perceived as the cut-off point beyond which the amoeba thrives. And because the symptoms of PAM are similar to those of bacterial meningitis, Heggie also cautions that doctors may have misdiagnosed patients who actually died because of N. fowleri. "I’ll swear my life to that — this is being wrongly diagnosed," he said. "If someone died of meningitis, I’d suggest looking into that case a little more closely ... and looking at where the brain was eaten away at." Little research has examined the issue, but one 1970 study out of Virginia examined 16,000 meningitis deaths and found that five of those were actually caused by PAM.

Short of avoiding fresh water swims altogether, public health officials recommend plugging one’s nose during dives or periods underwater. Tightly. "You don’t need water gushing up there to get sick," Heggie said. "It doesn’t take much more than a drop."

An Indonesian woman drowned her nine-year-old son in the bath, claiming she was worried that his "small penis" would affect his prospects for the future, a police spokesman said Thursday.

The 38-year-old woman from the capital Jakarta told police her son had had a small penis prior to being circumcised, but that it appeared to shrink further after the operation, police spokesman Rikwanto, who goes by one name, told AFP.

"She told police investigators that she killed him as he would have a bleak future with his small penis," Rikwanto said.

"She drowned her son in a bathtub filled with water. She then dressed him and laid him on a bed. After that, she went to a nearby police office to report her crime."

Rikwanto said the woman was fully conscious of what she had done, but police ordered a psychological test to assess her mental condition.

A woman jailed for life for stabbing her de facto husband 37 times, skinning him and cooking his body parts as a meal for his children has lost an appeal against the severity of her sentence.

The NSW Court of Criminal Appeal today dismissed an appeal by former abattoir worker Katherine Knight against her life sentence for the February 2000 murder of her partner John Price.

The NSW Supreme Court in 2001 sentenced Knight to life in jail after she pleaded guilty to murdering Mr Price at the home they shared at Aberdeen in the NSW Hunter Valley.

Knight, 50, is the first woman in Australia's history to be sentenced to life in prison. She had appealed against the sentence claiming the killing was not in the worst category of murder.

Knight stabbed 44-year-old Mr Price 37 times with a butcher's knife before skinning him and hanging his hide from a meat hook in their lounge room on February 29, 2000.

She then decapitated him and put his head in a pot on the stove, baked flesh from his buttocks and cooked vegetables and gravy as side dishes to serve to Mr Price's children.

Police found the macabre dinner before the adult children arrived home.

Korean Teacher Beats Student, Then Masturbates in Hallway

After a disturbing sequence of events, a high school teacher in Seoul has been arrested for causing bodily harm and public exposure.

After allegedly exhibiting behavior that can, at best, be described as shocking and vulgar, a 55-year-old teacher at a Seoul high school has been arrested for both causing bodily harm and indecent public exposure.

At 2:40 p.m. on April 17, upon discovering that a male student was using earphones during class, Mr. A — as the teacher in question is being called — allegedly severely beat the student and then proceeded to the hallway, where he reportedly dropped his pants in view of several students and began to masturbate.

After confirming that Mr. A had assaulted one of his students, the Seoul Department of Education immediately removed him from his position and began taking steps toward legal disciplinary action, reports say.

A spokesperson for the Yangcheon Police Department commented, “While we are still questioning the suspect, the teacher does not appear to have any mental problems. Mr. A is denying that he touched himself in public.”

Below is a video taken by a student after the event. The brief footage, which has been shared on several Korean social media sites, shows students who are visibly and audibly uncomfortable, screaming "What's wrong with him?"
