In 1999, French astronaut Jean-Pierre Haigneré, flies into space for a 6-month mission aboard the international space station Mir.Jean-Pierre Haigneré was the first non-Russian launched as Soyuz on-board engineer to the Russian MIR Space Station on a mission called Perseus.
In his luggage, he brought a camera and a camcorder. During his journey, he took hundreds of shoots, through the window.
During his stay at MIR Space Station he filmed and photographed the surface of the Earth from space. Down below image is one of them.
