Unexplained Strange Sounds from the Ocean

Who knows what lurks deep beneath the seas? The oceans are vast beyond imagination. They are deeper than the height airliners fly. With mountains and gigantic canyons straddling the ocean bottom. Is it possible that some of the unexplained sounds are from giant organisms or monsters?

The following unidentified sounds have been detected by the USA National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) using its Equatorial Pacific Ocean autonomous hydrophone array (SOSUS).

Upsweep

Upsweep is an unidentified sound detected on the American National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s equatorial autonomous hydrophone arrays. This sound was present when the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory began recording its sound surveillance system SOSUS in August, 1991. It consists of a long train of narrow-band upsweeping sounds of several seconds in duration each. The source level is high enough to be recorded throughout the Pacific.

The sound appears to be seasonal, generally reaching peaks in Spring and Autumn, but it is unclear whether this is due to changes in the source or seasonal changes in the propagation environment. The source can be roughly located at

Coordinates: 54°S 140°W / 54°S 140°w, near the location of inferred volcanic seismicity, but the origin of the sound is unresolved. The overall source level has been declining since 1991 but the sounds can still be detected on NOAA’s equatorial autonomous hydrophone arrays.

Whistle

The Whistle is an unidentified sound recorded by the autonomous hydrophone deployed at a location in the Pacific Ocean. It was recorded on July 7, 1997. The origin of the signal is unknown, and it was not detected on any other hydrophone. The band of energy between 1 and 6 Hz representsstrumming of the mooring in mid-water currents.

Bloop

Bloop is the name given to an ultra-low-frequency and extremely powerful underwater sound detected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in 1997. The sound is consistent with the noises generated by icequakes in large icebergs, or large icebergs scraping the ocean floor.

Analysis

The sound’s source was roughly triangulated to a remote point in the south Pacific Ocean west of the southern tip of South America, and the sound was detected several times by the Equatorial Pacific Ocean autonomous hydrophone array.

According to the NOAA description, it “rises rapidly in frequency over about one minute and was of sufficient amplitude to be heard on multiple sensors, at a range of over 5,000 km.” The NOAA’s Dr. Christopher Fox did not believe its origin was man-made, such as a submarine or bomb, nor familiar geological events such as volcanoes or earthquakes. While the audio profile of Bloop does resemble that of a living creature, the source was a mystery both because it was different from known sounds and because it was several times louder than the loudest recorded animal, the blue whale.

The NOAA Vents Program has attributed the sound to that of a large icequake. Numerous icequakes share similar spectrograms with Bloop, as well as the amplitude necessary to spot them despite ranges exceeding 5000 km. This was found during the tracking of iceberg A53a as it disintegrated near South Georgia island in early 2008. If this is indeed the origin of Bloop, the iceberg(s) involved in generating the sound were most likely between Bransfield Straits and the Ross Sea; or possibly at Cape Adare, a well-known source of cryogenic signals.

Julia

Julia is a sound recorded on March 1, 1999 by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). NOAA said the source of the sound was most likely a large iceberg that had run aground off Antarctica. It was sufficiently loud to be heard over the entire Equatorial Pacific Ocean autonomous hydrophone array. The unidentified sound lasted for about 15 seconds. Due to the uncertainty of the arrival azimuth, the point of origin could be between Bransfield Straits and Cape Adare.

Slow Down

Slow Down
is a sound recorded on May 19, 1997, in the Equatorial Pacific Ocean by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The source of the sound was most likely a large iceberg as it became grounded.

Analysis

The name was given because the sound slowly decreases in frequency over about 7 minutes. It was recorded using an autonomous hydrophone array. The sound has been picked up several times each year since 1997. One of the hypotheses on the origin of the sound is moving ice in Antarctica. Sound spectrograms of vibrations caused by friction closely resemble the spectrogram of the Slow Down. This suggests the source of the sound could have been caused by the friction between a large ice sheet moving over land.

The Train

The Train is the name given to an unidentified sound recorded on March 5, 1997 on the Equatorial Pacific Ocean autonomous hydrophone array. The sound rises to a quasi-steady frequency. According to the NOAA, the origin of the sound is most likely generated by a very large iceberg grounded in the Ross Sea, near Cape Adare.

Ten Amazing Subterranean Structures from the Ancient World

Ten Amazing Subterranean Structures from the Ancient World

April Holloway. Ancient Origins.

From ancient cisterns and water systems to mysterious caves, underground crypts, subterranean temples and even entire cities built beneath the earth, what our ancient ancestors have achieved is both mind-boggling and breathtaking. Here we feature ten incredible ancient sites that can be found underground.

The amazing subterranean Basilica Cistern

The amazing subterranean Basilica Cistern

Hidden beneath the city of Istanbul, Turkey, are hundreds of ancient cisterns that stored and supplied water to its inhabitants in the ancient past. The largest of these is the Basilica Cistern. So spectacular is the cistern that one could easily mistake it for a sacred subterranean temple. The Cistern is located just 150m southwest of the famous Haghia Sophia, and was built by the Byzantine emperor, Justinian I, in A.D. 532. It is 138 m in length and 64.6 m in width, covering an area of almost 1,000 square metres.

This cistern is capable of holding up to 80,000 cubic metres of water. An incredible work effort went into its construction, with 336 marble columns supporting the structure. It is said that the majority of these columns were recycled from older buildings (a process known as ‘spoliation’), possibly brought to what was then Constantinople from the various parts of the Byzantine Empire, as well as those used for the construction of the Hagia Sophia.

Perhaps the most iconic example of spoliation is the re-use of the heads of Medusa as the bases of two columns located in the northwest corner of the cistern. According to tradition, the heads were oriented sideways and inverted to counter the power of Medusa’s deadly gaze.

The mysterious shell grotto of Margate

The mysterious shell grotto of Margate

Thirty-five miles north of Dover is the English town of Margate in Kent - a coastal town with 57,000 inhabitants and a proud maritime history. What makes Margate special is the presence of a mysterious grotto, which has come to be known as the ‘Shell Grotto of Margate’. In 1835, the local school principal, James Newlove, wanted to build a duck pond in his garden. While digging, his shovel disappeared into an opening underneath a displaced capstone.

He lowered his son Joshua on a rope to retrieve the item. Upon returning the boy spoke of tunnels full of shell decorations. Excavations revealed a spectacular grotto covered by more than 4.6 million seashells, spread in a mosaic over 600 m2. Since the discovery in 1835, people have speculated about the true meaning of this place. What makes the shell grotto of Margate so mysterious is that there is nothing known about it. We do not know when the grotto was built, by whom and for what purpose.

Derinkuyu and the underground cities of Cappadocia

Derinkuyu and the underground cities of Cappadocia

The region of Cappadocia in central Turkey is home to one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world – deep valleys and soaring rock formations dotted with homes, chapels, tombs, temples and entire subterranean cities harmoniously carved into the natural landforms. One hundred square miles with more than 200 underground villages and tunnel towns complete with hidden passages, secret rooms and ancient temples and a remarkably storied history of each new civilisation building on the work of the last, make Cappadocia one of the world's most striking and largest cave-dwelling regions of the world.

But nowhere else is the ingeniousness of the ancient architecture more visible than in the nearby subterranean city of Derinkuyu. Derinkuyu is eleven levels deep, has 600 entrances, many miles of tunnels connecting it to other underground cities, and can accommodate thousands of people. It is truly an underground city, with areas for sleeping, stables for livestock, wells, water tanks, pits for cooking, ventilation shafts, communal rooms, bathrooms, and tombs. And Derinkuyu is not alone. More than forty complete underground cities have been discovered in the Cappadocia, many of them connecting to each other via tunnel.

Qanat Firaun, the most spectacular underground aqueduct of the ancient world

Qanat Firaun, the most spectacular underground aqueduct of the ancient world

The Qanat Firaun, otherwise known as the Gadara Aqueduct, is an ancient aqueduct that was built to supply water to the Roman-Hellenistic Decapolis, which now lie in present-day Syria and Jordan. Although the Arabic name ‘Qanat Firaun’ means ‘Canal of the Pharaohs’, the massive canal, which demonstrates incredible engineering abilities, was not Egyptian but Imperial Roman, most likely influenced by the Persians.

The 170-kilometre pipeline is not only the world’s longest underground aqueduct of the antiquity, it is also the most complex, and represents a colossal work of hydro-engineering. The construction of the aqueduct demonstrates remarkable precision. The gradient of the tunnel was found to be 0.3 per thousand, meaning that it dropped only 30 centimetres per kilometre – an amazingly shallow angle of decent.

Along the main road of Gadara, archaeologists found basal pressure piles which suggested a siphon structure in order to supply the western outskirts of the city with fresh water, supposedly from sources 100 kilometres away. By the time work ceased on the aqueduct, workers had excavated over 600,000 cubic metres of limestone, comparable to more than a full quarter of the Great Pyramid’s total volume.

The cult centre and underground world of Chavín de Huántar

The cult centre and underground world of Chavín de Huántar

Chavín de Huántar is an archaeological site located in the Ancash region of Peru, 250 km north of the country’s capital, Lima. It is located at over 3000 m above the sea level and is sandwiched between the desert coast to its west and the tropical Amazonian lowlands to its east. While carbon dating suggests that the site was occupied at least since 3000 B.C., it was around 1500 B.C. that Chavín developed into a sacred site.

Chavín became a ceremonial and pilgrimage centre for the religious world of the Andes. One of the most interesting aspects of this site is its subterranean chambers. It is the carvings and the sculptures of these chambers that are its most impressive features. For instance, there is the Lanzon, a prism-shaped block of carved granite that is 4.5m in height. This block of granite begins with a broad feline head, and tapers down to a point stuck into the ground. This feline motif can also be seen in the carvings along the outer stone walls of the Castillo sector (the southern wing of the temple).

These carvings depict gargoyles (known as Cabeza Clavos), which are supposed to be the temple’s guardians. Apart from feline features, the gargoyles are said to have bird-like characteristics as well. This iconography may help us to gain a better understanding of the cult that was practised at Chavín.

The incredible sound effects of Malta’s Hypogeum Hal Saflieni

The incredible sound effects of Malta’s Hypogeum Hal Saflieni

The Hypogeum of Hal Saflieni in Malta is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is believed to be the oldest prehistoric underground temple in the world. The subterranean structure is shrouded in mystery, from the discovery of elongated skulls to stories of paranormal phenomena. But the characteristic that has been attracting experts from around the globe is the unique acoustic properties found within the underground chambers of the Hypogeum.

Although not known for certain, it is believed that the hypogeum was originally used as a sanctuary, possibly for an oracle. It is for this reason that a unique chamber carved out of solid limestone and demonstrating incredible acoustic properties has been called ‘the Oracle Chamber’. According to William Arthur Griffiths, who wrote ‘Malta and its Recently Discovered Prehistoric Temples’, a word spoken in the Oracle room is “magnified a hundredfold and is audible throughout the entire structure. The effect upon the credulous can be imagined when the oracle spoke and the words came thundering forth through the dark and mysterious place with terrifying impressiveness."

Rome’s Labyrinth of Subterranean Tunnels

Rome’s Labyrinth of Subterranean Tunnels

As tourists wonder the streets of Rome and flock to the incredible sites of the Colosseum and Roman Forum, few of them realise that beneath their feet lies something even more ancient – a maze of subterranean tunnels and quarries that date back to the very beginning of this ancient city. The tunnels first began as quarries as the ancient Romans mined rock to build their city, which later expanded over the tunnels.

Then, once the quarrying ended, people began using the underground labyrinth as catacombs, for mushroom farming and as an unofficial sewer system. During World War II, people used the tunnels as bomb shelters.

"Hundreds of kilometres of catacombs run underneath the town and its outskirts," says Adriano Morabito, president of the association Roma Sotterranea (Underground Rome). "Some of the networks are well known and open to visitors, while others are still scarcely explored. Probably there are a number of lost catacombs, too."

The underground caves of Nottingham

The underground caves of Nottingham

Below the streets of Nottingham, England, nearly 500 man-made caves are cut into the natural sandstone. Over the centuries, they have been used for a vast array of purposes, including dungeons, beer cellars, cess-pits, tanneries, malt-kilns, houses, wine cellars, tunnels, summer-houses, air-raid shelters, sand mines, and jails – most famously the one said to have held Robin Hood. The earliest written record of Nottingham’s caves comes from a Welsh monk called Asser who when writing about Nottingham in 868 referred to the town as Tig Guocobauc, meaning house or place of caves in British. In 1067, the Normans arrived in the region and built a castle on an outcrop of sandstone.

The Norman’s built their own town around the castle with streets radiating out from it towards what is now the market square in modern day Nottingham. The exposed cliff of the sandstone outcrop made this an obvious place for the early citizens of Nottingham to make their home. Records from visitors to Nottingham during the 1600s suggest that the occupants of these cave houses were generally poor and the caves were known as pauper holes.

Throughout the medieval period Nottingham continued to grow and prosper becoming a centre for trades such as wool manufacture, tanning, alabaster carving and pottery production. A number of these activities were undertaken in Nottingham’s caves. From the 1800s new caves were cut and existing ones extended as Nottingham’s industries and their need for storage space grew. Unfortunately, redevelopment of Nottingham’s city centre from the late 19th century onwards has meant that many of Nottingham’s caves have been lost.

The Longyou Caves

The Longyou Caves

Located near the village of Shiyan Beicun in Zhejiang province, China, lies the Longyou caves - an extensive, magnificent and rare ancient underground world considered in China as ‘the ninth wonder of the ancient world’. The Longyou grottoes, which are thought to date back at least 2,000 years, represent one of the largest underground excavations of ancient times and are an enduring mystery that have perplexed experts from every discipline that has examined them. Scientists from around the world in the fields of archaeology, architecture, engineering, and geology have absolutely no idea how they were built, by whom, and why.

First discovered in 1992 by a local villager, 36 grottoes have now been discovered covering a massive 30,000 square metres. Carved into solid siltstone, each grotto descends around 30 metres underground and contains stone rooms, bridges, gutters and pools. There are pillars evenly distributed throughout the caves which are supporting the ceiling, and the walls, ceiling and stone columns are uniformly decorated with chisel marks in a series of parallel lines.

Only one of the caves has been opened for tourism, chosen because of the stone carvings found inside which depict a horse, fish and bird.

The ancient catacombs of Malta

The ancient catacombs of Malta

The Paleochristian heritage of the Maltese Islands rates as the fourth most important cluster of such monuments in the Mediterranean Region following those of the Italy, Israel and of the Maghreb, of which its most prominent feature is its extensive concentration of subterranean burial grounds. The catacombs of Malta have been described by UNESCO as “excellent documents of the changing cultural, artistic and social climates of the Mediterranean world in the centuries going from the 3rd to the Centuries AD”.

In a period covering the mid-third to the early seventh century AD, burial grounds developed in Malta from a tradition of simple rock-cut tombs of the Phoenician and Hellenistic eras (700 BC - 100 AD). One remarkable feature of the Maltese catacombs is the co-mingling of religious rites, which includes clear references to Christianity, pagan practices and Judaism, all within the same locality. This reflects the co-habitation of these different cultures within Late Roman society. According to UNESCO, “this mixed feature of the Maltese catacombs is rarely equalled anywhere else in the Mediterranean.”

7 Unsolved Mysteries Boomers Can’t Forget‏

The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has become an obsession for cable TV news and spawned a slew of increasingly outlandish conspiracy theories on the Internet, including suggestions that it was hijacked by North Korean agents or accidentally destroyed by a secret military weapon test.
The puzzlement has a familiar feel to baby boomers. We’ve grown up in an age full of uncertainties, ambiguities and unanswered conundrums — some serious (unexplained questions about the JFK assassination) and others not so much (when played backward, does Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven” actually reveal a satanic coded message?).

Here are 7 of the most inscrutable unsolved mysteries that have kept boomers up late at night.

1. Where is Jimmy Hoffa? The Teamsters union leader was last seen on July 30, 1975, outside a Detroit-area restaurant. Rumors have had him killed by mobsters and buried in locations ranging from the old Giants Stadium in New Jersey to an empty field near Detroit, where FBI agents fruitlessly dug for clues in 2013.

2. Who was D.B. Cooper, and did he actually escape? The mystery man parachuted at 10,000 feet from a hijacked jetliner over a remote stretch of Washington state in 1971, with a $200,000 ransom strapped to his body. No one knows what happened to him, though in 2011 an Oregon woman told the FBI that Cooper was her uncle.

3. Did Muhammad Ali really knock out Sonny Liston, or did he take a dive? Mystery around the so-called “phantom punch” in their 1965 heavyweight title bout deepened five years later when Liston died from an apparent heroin overdose.

 4. Did an alien spacecraft really crash at Roswell, N.M., in 1947? A local newspaper excitedly proclaimed the discovery of flying saucer debris. The Air Force insisted it was a downed weather balloon. Decades later, the official story shifted to possible wreckage from a secret project to monitor Soviet nuclear weapons testing. Today nearly half of Americans believe that extraterrestrial ships may be observing our planet.

5. Who was the Zodiac Killer? After committing at least five murders in the San Francisco area in 1968-69 and releasing taunting letters and cryptograms (see below), the killer mysteriously disappeared — only to resurface as inspiration for the 1971 Clint Eastwood flick Dirty Harry and other crime thrillers since.

6. What was actually said in the missing 18 1/2 minutes of the Nixon tapes?
The gap fell in a June 20, 1972, recording of President Richard Nixon and his chief of staff H.R. Haldeman discussing the Watergate burglary for the first time. Nixon’s secretary, Rose Mary Woods, who said that while transcribing the tape she’d accidentally hit the record button as she answered a telephone, re-enacted what came to be known as the “Rose Mary Stretch.”

7. Who is the song “You’re So Vain” actually about? Warren Beatty? Mick Jagger? Kris Kristofferson? All have been suspected as the duplicitous, self-obsessed former lover in Carly Simon’s 1973 hit. Simon herself revealed in 2010 that his first name — implanted backwards in the recording — is David. David Geffen? David Bowie? David Cassidy?

10 Amazing Things Kids Have Said About Past Lives

Many children seem wise beyond their years or like “old souls,” but some have said things that truly seem to hearken back to previous lives.
Parents have shared their stories via social media; many say their children have talked about tragic deaths followed by happier lives this time around.

1. When my son was 3, he told me that he really likes his new daddy, he’s really nice. My husband is his one and only daddy. I asked ‘Why is that?’
He replied: ‘My old daddy was really mean. He stabbed me in the back and I died. But I really like my new daddy, he’d never do that to me.’

2. When I was a little girl, I lost [it] when I saw some guy at the grocery store. It was unusual, because I was generally quiet and well behaved. I never had to be taken out of somewhere for misbehaving, but we had to leave the store.
When my mom asked what was wrong when we got in the car, I told her he took me away from my first mom and hid me under his floor and made me sleep for a long time until I woke up with my new mom.
I then refused to sit in the seat of the car on the ride home, but insisted on cowering under the dash board so he couldn’t take me again. It freaked her … out, as she is definitely my biological mother, so obviously my ‘first’ mom.

3. Getting my 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter out of the bath one night, my wife and I were briefing her on how important it was she kept her privates clean. She casually replied: ‘Oh, nobody “scroofs” me there. They tried one night. They kicked the door in and tried, but I fought back. I died and now I’m here.’
She said this like it was nothing.
10 Amazing Things Kids Have Said About Past Lives

4. ‘Before I was born here, I had a sister, right? Her and my other mom are so old now. They were OK when the car was on fire, but I sure wasn’t!’
He was maybe 5 or 6 years old. It was totally out of the blue.

5. When my little sister was younger, she used to walk around the house with a picture frame with a picture of my great grandpa in her hands crying and saying, “I miss you Harvey.”
Harvey had died before even I was born. Other than this common occurrence, my mom told me that she would constantly say things that my great grandma Lucy would say.

6. When my little sister first started talking, she used to say some really disturbing things. She used to tell us about how her old family would put things inside of her and would make her cry, but her Daddy eventually burned her so much that she was able to find us, her new family.
She spoke about things like that from the ages of almost 2 to 4. She was much too young to have ever been exposed to any content where children, or anyone else could [experience those things], so my family has always thought she held memories of a prior life.

7. Between the ages of 2 and 6, my son would tell me the same story of how he picked me to be his mother.

He said something about being with a man in a suit and picking a mother that would help him accomplish his souls mission. … We didn’t discuss spirituality … nor was he raised in any sort of religious environment.
The way he described it was that it was similar to grocery shopping, that he was in a bright room with people who were lined up like dolls, and that he picked me. The man in the suit asked him if he was sure, he replied that he was, and then he was born.
My son also had an early fascination with WWII era planes. He could identify them, their parts, what region they were used in, and the like. I still have no idea where he got that information. I’m a science gal, his dad is a math guy.
We have always called him ‘Grandpa,’ because of his peaceful and gingerly demeanor. This kid seriously has an old soul.
10 Amazing Things Kids Have Said About Past Lives

8. My nephew when he first began really talking in sentences told my sister and her husband that he was ‘so happy he picked them.’ And then went on to say that before he was a baby he was in a bright room and saw lots of people and he ‘picked his Mom because she had a nice face.’

9.  My older sister was born the year my Dad’s mom died. According to my dad, as soon as my sister was old enough to say the words, she said ‘I am your mother.’

10. According to my mom, when I was younger, I would tell her about how I had died in a fire a long time ago. I don’t remember that, but one of my biggest fears is my house burning down. Just being around open fire scares me.

Christian Pastor Horrifically Scarred In Muslim Acid Attack Warns America Against Islam

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Pastor Umar Mulinde was born in Uganda to a Muslim family with his father being an area-Muslim leader. But after Mulinde converted to Christianity he was attacked for his new faith. Mulinde went on record to tell his story and issue a warning to America.

Because he was raised as a Muslim Mulinde says, “I know whatever a good Muslim and a true Muslim… and a leader in Islam must know.” But once he converted to Christianity, he was hated by the Muslims in his community.

Christian Pastor Horrifically Scarred In Muslim Acid Attack Warns America Against Islam

Mulinde was called out one night by a voice in the darkness. “Pastor,” the man called. As Mulinde turned to respond to the voice, half of his face was covered in acid by the man in the dark. In an effort to escape, Mulinde turned and ran for help. Half of his face and part of the back of his head was badly burned by the acid. But despite this, Mulinde still has hope.

A tearful moment happens at 4 minutes when he says, “I realized, I had fallen in the hands of my enemies… It’s not because of this [pointing to his scarred face] that I am crying. It’s because of doing something right and then you’re paid something wrong.”

When asked why he wasn’t dead when he should be, Mulinde responds, “God is mighty.” He then turned to deliver a powerful word to America.
“God Almighty has given you the grace. Whatever you do in America influences everyone in the world. You have that grace. One thing that Islam is doing to defeat you is causing you to be coward and fearful to stand up and speak against the invasion of the Islamization that is going on in your country. Stand up before it’s late. …If you get [sic] afraid today, within time, you will find your children and your grandchildren being Muslims and torturing other people. Stand up now and defeat the challenge of the global Islamization agenda.”

He ended by saying, “If it is truth, then let’s stand for it and the God of the Bible will defend your land.”

Location

An ancient village called as Melaarasur, is located 36 kms from Tiruchirapalli city, and about 4 kms from Kallakudi or Dalmiapuram- Malvai road, in Tamil Nadu, India.

Stone pillar

Based on the information given by Melarsur Rajendran, the archaeo-symbolist T.L. Subash Chandira Bose made a field study in the above said village. During the field study a stone pillar of 110 cms Height, 51cms Wide and 20 cms Breadth, belongs to 12- 13 century A.D., was identified at the western side of the North-South Street and also in front of a Lord Sri. Thiyagaraja’s shrine.

Discovery of an Ancient Weapon

Bas- relief symbols

In the above said stone pillar; a decorated symbol denoting Vimanam of the temple and the garlands of the temple halls, the two symbols such as Damuru and Plough of Chitra Mezhi Periyanattar, two types of swords, a Circular shaped weapon, a tripod, a puranakalasam and two lamps were found incised as bas- reliefs.

Chakaram

The archaeo-symbolist says, a particular circular shaped weapon of 19.5 cms outer diameter, is a torus shaped with a sharp outer edged, dangerous combat as well as throwing weapon called as Chakaram belongs to Paanimukta type. It is also known as Cakera, Chakkar, Chakurm,Chalikar.

It is made of either iron or brass. Its outer diameter may vary from 12 – 30 cms, whichcan fly and attack the enemy at a distance of 40-60 and 80-100 meters respectively.

A well trained professional warrior can spin with his index finger or hold it with index and thumb fingers and then throw with very sharp flick of the wrist and the forehand. It produces the high speeded whirling motion, capable of cutting the hands, legs and head of an enemy.

The origin of the weapon

This circular shaped weapon is said to be originated in India and spread from Tamil Nadu to Punjab and few Asian countries such as Tibet, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Evidence

This finding is documentary evidence that; 700-800 years ago the art of handling this dangerous circular shaped weapon was well known to the ancient warriors of Tamil Nadu Similar to Punjab state.

500,000-year-old Spark Plug Found In Rock? [VIDEO]

On February 13, 1961, Wallace Lane, Virginia Maxey, and Mike Mikesell were seeking interesting mineral specimens, particularly geodes, for their “LM & V Rockhounds Gem and Gift Shop” in Olancha, California.

500,000-year-old Spark Plug Found In Rock?

On this particular day, the trio were about six miles northeast of Olancha, near the top of a peak about 4,300 feet in elevation and about 340 feet above the dry bed of Owens Lake.

According to Maxey, “We hiked about three miles north, after we had parked some five miles east of State Highway 395, south of Olancha, California.” At lunchtime, after collecting rocks most of the morning, all three placed their specimens in the rock sack Mikesell was carrying.

The next day in the gift shop’s workroom, Mikesell ruined a nearly new diamond saw blade while cutting what he thought was a geode. Inside the nodule that was cut, Mikesell did not find a cavity as so many geodes have, but a perfectly circular section of very hard, white material that appeared to be porcelain.

In the center of the porcelain cylinder, was a 2-millimeter shaft of bright metal.

The metal shaft responded to a magnet.

There were still other odd qualities about the specimen. The outer layer of the specimen was encrusted with fossil shells and their fragments.

In addition to shells, the discoverers noticed two nonmagnetic metallic metal objects in the crust, resembling a nail and a washer.

500,000-year-old Spark Plug Found In Rock?

Stranger still, the inner layer was hexagonal and seemed to form a casing around the hard porcelain cylinder. Within the inner layer, a layer of decomposing copper surrounded the porcelain cylinder.

Very little is known about the initial physical inspections of the artifact. According to discoverer Virginia Maxey, a geologist she spoke with who examined the fossil shells encrusting the specimen said the nodule had taken at least 500,000 years to attain its present form.

However, the identity of the first geologist is still a mystery, and his findings were never officially published.

Another investigation was conducted by creationist Ron Calais. Calais is the only other individual known to have physically inspected the artifact, and was allowed to take photographs of the nodule in both X ray and natural light. Calais’s X-rays brought interest in the artifact to a new level.

The X-ray of the upper end of the object seemed to reveal some sort of tiny spring or helix. INFO Journal Publisher Ronald J. Willis speculated that it could actually be “the remains of a corroded piece of metal with threads.”

The other half of the artifact revealed a sheath of metal, presumably copper, covering the porcelain cylinder.

Ever since the artifact was first discovered, numerous individuals have speculated about its mysterious origin and possible use.

500,000-year-old Spark Plug Found In Rock?

Virginia Maxey speculated that “one possibility is that it is barely 100 years old – something that lay in a mud bed, then got baked and hardened by the sun in a matter of a few years.” However it was Maxey who supplied the claim that the artifact could be at least 500,000 years old.

“Or else it is an instrument as old as legendary Mu or Atlantis. Perhaps it is a communications device or some sort of directional finder or some instrument made to utilize power principles we know nothing about.”

INFO Journal editor Paul J. Willis speculated that the artifact was some sort of spark plug. His brother found the suggestion extraordinary.

500,000-year-old Spark Plug Found In Rock?

“I was thunderstruck,” he wrote, “for suddenly all the parts seemed to fit. The object sliced in two shows a hexagonal part, a porcelain or ceramic insulator with a central metallic shaft – the basic components of any spark plug.”

However, the two could not reconcile the upper end featuring a “spring”, “helix”, or “metal threads” with any contemporary spark plug.

The mystery continues.

150,000-Year-Old Pipes Baffle Scientists in China: Out of Place in Time?

The universe is full of mysteries that challenge our current knowledge. In "Beyond Science" Epoch Times collects stories about these strange phenomena to stimulate the imagination and open up previously undreamed of possibilities. Are they true? You decide.

Oopart (out of place artifact) is a term applied to dozens of prehistoric objects found in various places around the world that seem to show a level of technological advancement incongruous with the times in which they were made. Ooparts often frustrate conventional scientists, delight adventurous investigators open to alternative theories, and spark debate.

In a mysterious pyramid in China’s Qinghai Province near Mount Baigong are three caves filled with pipes leading to a nearby salt-water lake. There are also pipes under the lake bed and on the shore. The iron pipes range in size, with some smaller than a toothpick. The strangest part is that they may be about 150,000 years old.

150,000-Year-Old Pipes Baffle Scientists in China: Out of Place in Time?

Dating done by the Beijing Institute of Geology determined these iron pipes were smelted about 150,000 years ago, if they were indeed made by humans, according to Brian Dunning of Skeptoid.com.

And if they were made by humans, history as it is commonly viewed would have to be reevaluated.

The dating was done using thermoluminescence, a technique that determines how long ago crystalline mineral was exposed to sunlight or heated. Humans are only thought to have inhabited the region for the past 30,000 years. Even within the known history of the area, the only humans to inhabit the region were nomads whose lifestyle would not leave any such structures behind.

150,000-Year-Old Pipes Baffle Scientists in China: Out of Place in Time?

The state-run news agency Xinhua in China reported on the pyramid, the pipes, and the research began by a team scientists sent to investigate in 2002.

Though some have since tried to explain the pipes as a natural phenomenon, Yang Ji, a research fellow at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, told Xinhua the pyramid may have been built by intelligent beings. He did not dismiss the theory that ancient extraterrestrials may be responsible, saying this theory is “understandable and worth looking into … but scientific means must be employed to prove whether or not it is true.”

Another theory is that it was built by prehistoric humans with techniques lost to humans of a later period.

The pipes lead into a salty lake, though a twin lake nearby contains freshwater. The surrounding landscape is strewn with what Xinhua described as “strangely shaped stones.” Rocks protrude from the ground like broken pillars.

The head of the publicity department at the local Delingha government told Xinhua the pipes were analyzed at a local smeltery and 8 percent of the material could not be identified. The rest was made up of ferric oxide, silicon dioxide, and calcium oxide. The silicon dioxide and calcium oxide are products of long interaction between the iron and surrounding sandstone, showing the ancient age of the pipes. Liu Shaolin, the engineer who did the analysis, told Xinhua: “This result has made the site even more mysterious.”

“Nature is harsh here,” he said. “There are no residents let alone modern industry in the area, only a few migrant herdsmen to the north of the mountain.”

To further add to the mystery, Zheng Jiandong, a geology research fellow from the China Earthquake Administration told state-run newspaper People’s Daily in 2007 that some of the pipes were found to be highly radioactive.

150,000-Year-Old Pipes Baffle Scientists in China: Out of Place in Time?

Other Theories

Jiandong said iron-rich magma may have risen from deep in the Earth, bringing the iron into fissures where it would solidify into tubes. Though he admitted, “There is indeed something mysterious about these pipes.” He cited the radioactivity as an example of the strange qualities of the pipes.

Others have said iron sediments may have washed into the fissures, carried with water during floods.

Though Xinhua and other publications in China have referred to a pyramid or even a mysterious pyramid in which the pipes were found, some have said it was a pyramid-shaped natural formation.

Another theory is that the pipes are fossilized tree roots. Xinmin Weekly reported in 2003 that scientists found plant matter in an analysis of the pipes, and they also found what looked like tree rings. The article related the finding to a geological theory that in certain temperatures and under certain chemical conditions, tree roots can undergo diagenesis (transformation of soil into rock) and other processes that can produce iron formations.

Reports on the tree-root explanation for the so-called Baigong pipes often lead back to this Xinmin Weekly article or lack citation. It’s unclear exactly how well-supported this theory is in relation to the Baigong pipes.

An article published in the Journal of Sedimentary Research in 1993 describes fossilized tree roots in South Louisiana in the United States.

Smelling Farts Might Prevent Cancer

It has been a weird week in health news. First doctors said that Justin Bieber might save young boys’ lives (the “hip” bowl cut is actually a form of sun protection — skin cancer be gone!), and now scientists out of the University of Exeter insist that smelling farts could actually prevent cancer, among other diseases. Uh, okay.

“Although hydrogen sulfide gas”—produced when bacteria breaks down food—”is well known as a pungent, foul-smelling gas in rotten eggs and flatulence, it is naturally produced in the body and could in fact be a healthcare hero with significant implications for future therapies for a variety of diseases,” Dr. Mark Wood said in a university release.

Smelling Farts Might Prevent Cancer

Although the stinky gas can be noxious in large doses, the researchers seem to think that a whiff here and there has the power to reduce risks of cancer, strokes, heart attacks, arthritis, and dementia by preserving mitochondria. Researchers are even coming up with their own compound to emulate the stinky smell’s health benefits.

Smelling Farts Might Prevent Cancer

“‘We have exploited this natural process by making a compound, called AP39, which slowly delivers very small amounts of this gas specifically to the mitochondria,” Professor Matt Whiteman, who worked on the study to be published in the Medicinal Chemistry Communications journal, said.

Oak Island Pit Mystery

by Capers Jones

One of the most curious human-caused mysteries of the past 300 years is the famous “Oak Island Pit” (aka The Money Pit of Oak Island) which has never been fully explained or fully explored, in spite of almost a dozen well-funded excavation attempts using fairly sophisticated equipment and professional engineers.

What has been found is an extremely sophisticated civil engineering project involving multiple lateral tunnels hundreds of feet long that feed sea water into a deep bore tunnel below a depth of about 90 feet.

Oak Island is a small island of about 140 acres off the coast of Nova Scotia in Mahone Bay. An image of Oak Island is shown below. The causeway in the lower left was built to allow excavation equipment to reach the island.

In 1795 a young man or teenager named Daniel McGinnis found a circular depression under a tree and a block and tackle on a branch above the depression. With several friends they began to dig into the depression. They found a layer of flagstones a few feet below the surface and then a layer of logs at about 10 feet. The young men continued but stopped digging at 30 feet. They found another layer of logs but no bottom and nothing else. They left the pit partly covered and nothing more happened for several years.

In 1803 a larger group with began to excavate again, funded by a man named Simeon Lynds. This was a group called The Onslow Company. This group also found layers of logs, and reportedly a stone slab with some kind of symbols on it:

The original slab has gone missing, so the picture above is only a replica of uncertainauthenticity.

This second group reached a depth of 93 feet and found the bottom getting muddy. Using a crow bar that they stuck in the mud they found what seemed to be a stone cover or slab at perhaps 96 feet, underneath the mud. This cover seemed to be about the diameter of the shaft. Since it was late in the day they stopped and planned to dig to the cover the following morning.

In the morning they found that the pit had 63 feet of water in it. The group tried to dig a second pit nearby but it filled with also, so they gave up.

Nothing much happened until 1849 when another group, the third, tried to excavate the original pit. This group was able to drill through the stone floor at about the 96 foot level and reportedly brought up a few links of a gold chain.

This third group found that the water in the pit was salty and went up and down with the tides. They explored the edges of the island and found a surprisingly sophisticated water trap. At a place called Smiths Cove about 500 feet from the pit were five stone water traps with coconut fibers and eel grass to filter the water. The five pipes came together into a single pipe leading into the pit.

Since coconut trees obviously do not grow in Canada this finding indicates a tropical location for some of the engineering gear. Interestingly, carbon dating showed the age of the coconut fibers to be between 1200 and 1400 AD. This does not mean that the pit was dug so early, because coconut logs and fibers might have been stored somewhere for perhaps hundreds of years before being transported to Oak Island. Even so the age of the coconut is an interesting mystery.

The group tried to divert water away from the pit and even built a coffer dam to keep water away from Smiths Cove, but the pit remained filled with water. This group ran out of money in 1851 and stopped excavation.

In 1861 a fourth attempt was made to reach the bottom of the pit by a group called the Oak Island Association. This group tried to pump the water out of the pit with steam pumps. But unfortunately a boiler exploded killing one worker and injuring several more.

The pumps could not remove water as fast as it was entering the pit. In 1864 this fourth group also ran out of money and stopped.

There were additional attempts in 1866, 1893, 1909, 1931, and 1936. None of them found the bottom of the pit but they did discover a second water pipe feeding water into the pit at about the 153 foot depth level. This pipe came from the opposite side of the island rather than Smiths Cove. The combined digging of all these groups made such a mess that the exact location of the original tunnel became obscured.

The Oak Island Treasure Company, the 1893 group, claimed to have found a vault at about the 150 foot depth. The vault was stated to be seven feet by seven feet and when drilled seemed to contain soft metal. The drill bit when withdrawn had a piece of parchment with the characters “VI” printed in ink. Other groups have not found any vaults.

One interesting historical note about the 1909 attempt: This was a group called The Old Gold Salvage Group and one of its members was future president Franklyn DelanoRoosevelt. Roosevelt kept up an interest in Oak Island for as long as he lived. Shown below is a picture of this group with the young Roosevelt third from the right:

This picture was taken on Oak Island circa 1909 long before Roosevelt developed polio in 1921 at the age of 39. Roosevelt is third from the right, wearing a white shirt, and smoking a pipe.
President Roosevelt is not the only famous person interested in Oak Island. The actors Errol Flynn and John Wayne also had an interest, and Wayne was reportedly part owner of one of the excavation groups.

In 1959 a group headed by Robert Restall and his son attempted excavations, only to find tragedy instead. Restall’s team was building a shaft to stop the water entering from Smiths Cove when the tragedy struck.

Restall’s son found his father unconscious in the bottom of the shaft at the 27 foot level and went to help, only to become unconscious himself. Three more workmen attempting to help also passed out. A visitor, Edmund White, who was a fireman suspected carbon monoxide poisoning from a pump engine. White had a rope tied to his waist to pull him up and was able to save one of the workmen, but the other four died before they could be removed from the shaft. After these deaths rumors began to occur about the “Oak Island curse.”

In 1965 a man named Robert Dunfield built the causeway to the mainland and brought over heavy equipment including a 70-foot digging crane. Dunfield attempted open-pit mining and dug a hole about 100 feet in diameter and 140 feet deep. He found a few porcelain shards but no treasure. Heavy rains slowed down the work and added to the cost, and eventually Dunfield ran out of money.

In 1970 another group called the Triton Alliance attempted a different approach of drilling a number of bore holes and sending down cameras. Apparently there are natural caves under Oak Island. Reportedly there were pictures taken of chests, but this is uncertain. An image from the web shows what all of these groups found between 1795 and 1970:

Of course this image is a composite of indirect findings and not the result of a singleexcavation.

In 1995 the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute did a survey of Oak Island. They found three natural tunnels in the area of the pit, and concluded that the flooding might have been due to natural causes rather than man-made water tunnels. The tunnels were found by using red dye which later was seen around the edges of the island in three places. Of course that does not explain the coconut fibers. Neither does it explain the layers of logs found in the pit itself, that clearly were placed their during the construction of the pit.

Between 1795 and today about a dozen formal attempts have been made to excavatethe Oak Island pit, without finding anything more than perhaps a few gold links, a piece of parchment, a stone with carved symbols, an anchor, an axe, and some ceramic pieces. While digging tools such as a pick have also been found, they are more likely to have been left by some of the more recent excavators rather than the by the original crew.

After abour 230 years of attempted excavation that cost more than $20,000,000, involved more than 500 people, and cost six lives the Oak Island pit remains a mystery as to its origins and purpose and who constructed it.

Based merely on the depth of the pit and the dimensons of the tunnels and the sophistication of the water traps, it can be assumed that the pit complex was designed by one or more very capable civil engineers. Probably at least 100 workmen were involved in digging the pit and the water traps over a period of at least two years. In fact since Nova Scotia has long winters with snow and freezing weather, the construction of the pit may have taken more than two years due to the short outdoor work season when the ground was not frozen or snow covered.

This Oak Island pit was not a minor effort and probably exceeded the engineering skills of pirates such as Blackbeard and Captain Kidd. The Oak Island pit is a very sophisticated civil engineering project. The pit has been the subject of several books and even television shows such as one on the History Channel. A search on Amazon will turn up at least six books about the Oak Island pit.

In addition to the pit itself Oak Island also had what appeared to be a construction in the shape of a cross involving nine large stones. Whether these stones are related to the pit or were made by Native Americans is unknown. Some of the stones had drill holes about two inches deep and over an inch in diamter, for unknown purposes.

There are many hypotheses about who built the Oak Island pit and what it was built for. Some of these provide fascinating glimpses into history. Following are some of the theories as to the pit’s origins:

  • One theory holds that the pit was dug by the crew of Blackbeard the pirate. Blackbeard was heard to boast that he had an underground treasure trove that could never be discovered.
  • One theory holds that the pit was dug by Captain Kidd, another pirate, although he did not spend much time in Nova Scotia. (President Roosevelt’s camp on Oak Island was called “Camp Kidd” after this pirate.)
  • One theory holds that the pit was used to hide the missing jewels of Marie Antoinette and was built by the French Navy. These jewels went missing from Versailles in 1791 and may have been taken from France by one of Marie Antoinette’s maids.
  • One theory holds that the Pit was built by the French army to hold treasures from the Fortress of Louisberg after it was taken by the British in the Seven Year’s War. The idea was to keep the treasure away from the British.
  • One theory holds that the pit was built by British Army engineers to hide treasure seized from the capture of Havana, Cuba in 1762. The Earl of Albemarle is cited in this theory.
  • One theory holds that the pit was constructed by Knights Templar and holds not only their treasure but perhaps the Holy Grail and the Ark of the Covenant as well. Leaders of this order were arrested in 1307 and order dissolved in 1312. It was a wealthy order that provided banking services for much of Europe. Quite a lot of Templar treasure seems to have been spirited away and remains undiscovered; some of it may allegedly have been taken to Scotland and protected by the Sinclair family.
  • One theory holds that the pit was constructed by the Scottish Earl of Sinclair who allegedly visited America in 1398 (see the picture of the Westford Knight in the section on the Newport Tower). Sinclair was allegedly a secret Knight Templar and hence might have had some of the missing Templar treasure, although this is denied by the modern Sinclair family. In fact the whole Sinclair trip to America is denied by Sinclair’s descendants. However there is a placque in Nova Scotia that asserts that Henry Sinclair discovered America and it is claimed that he visited Nova Scotia, which is where Oak Island is located. There is also a Prince Henry society in Canada. It is an interesting coincidence that the Prince Henry theory coincides with the approximate age of the coconut fibers used to filter the water traps leading to the pit.
  • One theory holds that the pit was constructed by Masons due to what is claimed to be various Masonic symbols on the island and around the pit. Why the Masons would want to dig such a pit in unknown; unless as alleged Prince Henry Sinclair was a Mason.
  • One very unlikely theory holds that the pit was built by Francis Bacon to hide documentary proof that he wrote Shakespeare’s plays. This is due to finding a piece of parchment with “VI” written on it in ink. This theory seems embarrasingly off base.
  • One theory holds that the pit was built by Native Americans, probably the Micmac tribe who lived nearby. If so what it was built for is unknown since large deep pits are not common constructions among Native American groups.
  • One theory holds that the pit is a natural sink hole and not of human construction at all. There are in fact natural caves and tunnels under Oak Island. However enough artifacts have been found in and near the pit to indicate that humans did build at least portions of the pit even if it is a natural sink hole.

Considering the amount of money spent excavating the pit it is unfortunate that the excavations have been so haphazard and done so much environmental damage to the area. At this point it is probably not possible to separate the original construction from the work of dozens of later excavation attempts.

As of 2014 much of Oak Island is privately owned and the government of Nova Scotia requires permits to dig for treasure. Some digging continues in 2014 but apparently is no closer to finding out the purpose of the pit as previous crews. Oak Island remains a curious puzzle that has attracted a great deal of interest for almost 220 years.

Government Official Makes Worker Give Him Piggyback

Wang Junhua, deputy director of the government office of Guixi city in China has been sacked for making a worker give him a piggyback.

The boss was accused of damaging the image of the Chinese Communist party after ordering a worker to carry him on his back over rain sodden ground - so he didn't get his shoes wet.

He had been visiting the site of recent flooding where two students drowned, and had not bothered to wear wellies.

Instead he had selected cream coloured leather shoes, and instead of getting them wet, he had told Ding Xianbao to give him a piggyback.

Hu Peng, a local who witnessed the incident, said: "The guy looked arrogant and bored.

Government Official Makes Worker Give Him Piggyback

"It was clear that he came to the site in order to score some cheap publicity points. But when he saw that he might have to get his feet wet his real personality surfaced.

"He ordered this guy to hoist him on his shoulders and he rode him like he was a donkey. I felt sorry for the guy - he was humiliated."

Communist Party officials removed him from his post when they learned about the piggy back but denied the man had ordered the subordinate to carry him, saying that Ding had volunteered.

But they admitted it was still wrong, with one saying: "It was not within his remit to order another human being to become his drudge. This is not how things work in China.

"If he didn't want to get wet feet, he should have brought along rubber waders, not turn a worker into his personal transportation."

He is appealing his dismissal but party officials say their decision is "final".

European Royals Killing Naked Children For Fun At Human Hunting Parties

This is one in a series of articles taken from eyewitness testimony before the International Common Law Court of Justice in Brussels. Five international judges are examining evidence of child rape, torture, murder and kidnapping allegedly done by global elite members of the Ninth Circle Satanic Child Sacrifice Cult network. Regular Ninth Circle child sacrifices were said to take place in the catacombs of Catholic Cathedrals, the Vatican, on private estates and groves and government military bases in Belgium, Holland, Spain, Australia, Ireland, France, England and the US. At least 34 child mass grave sites were identified in Ireland, Spain and Canada – and refused excavation by the respective governments, Crown of England and Catholic Church. Named as present in Ninth Circle activities were Pope Francis, former Pope Ratzinger;Anglican, United Church of Canada and Catholic Church officials including Cardinals; members of European royalty including Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip; officials of the Canadian, Australian, UK and US military and governments including the USA’s CIA, plus prominent government ministers, judges, politicians and businessmen from the US, Belgium, Holland, Canada, Australia, France, Ireland and the UK

Teens were drugged, stripped naked, raped, hunted down in the woods and killed by European royals according to this week’s latest eyewitness to testify before theInternational Common Law Court of Justice in Brussels. The woman was the fourth eyewitness to give accounts about these human hunting parties of the global elite Ninth Circle Satanic Child Sacrifice Cult network. A former member of the Netherlands criminal drug syndicate known as Octopus testified that victims were obtained for these human hunting parties from juvenile detention centers in Belgium and Holland.

“In 2004 I was an involuntary witness to torture, rape and murder sessions of drugged children performed for a group of high ranked people of the Netherlands” stated a woman. “I was taken to a hunting party in Belgium close to Brussels where I saw two boys and a girl ages 14 to 16, hunted and killed by global elites. The human hunting party was heavily guarded by the Netherlands Royal Guards. I was told that King Albert of Belgium was present.”

Four eyewitnesses confirmed that as children and youths they were forced to attend human hunting parties where they and other children were raped, with some killed, and deceased boy’s penises were cut off. Allegedly there was a Dutch countryside palace where boys’ penises were displayed like trophies on a wall. Some hunting parties were hosted on the grounds of Belgium Queen Beatrix’s Palace.

Dutch therapist Toos Nijenhuis claimed that as a four year-old she was forced to witness murders of children that involved former Pope Ratzinger, a Dutch Catholic Cardinal, plus the father of Netherlands Belgium Queen Beatrix and Bilderberger Founder, Dutch Crown Prince Alfrink Bernhard. “I saw the former Pope Joseph Ratzinger murder a little girl″ another witness confirmed. “It was at a French chateau in the fall of 1987. It was ugly, horrible and didn’t happen just once. Ratzinger and Bernhard were some of the more prominent men who took part.”

In Ireland, Spain and Canada 34 child mass grave sites were discovered and appeared linked to Ninth Circle activities. The largest was the Mohawk Indian Residential School in Brantford Ontario where child remains were identified in 2008 before the Catholic Church, Canadian government and English Crown shut down the dig by professional archeologists. The 2013 ICLCJ Court had found Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip guilty for the Oct. 10 1964 disappearance of ten native children from the Catholic residential school in Kamloops British Columbia. In the first two weeks of the 2014 court witnesses identified Dutch and Belgian royal participants in the rape and killing of Mohawk children and newborns. Named were Bernhard and King Hendrick, consort to Queen Wilhelmina of Holland.

In January 2014 the brother of the king of Holland Prince Johan Friso passed away in a coma after these three Dutch-language websitesshownhere reached the internet. The websites revealed that Friso was at the human hunting and killing parties.”The story came on the internet after years of trying to move the policy and justice department in the Netherlands to act against the criminals,” an eyewitness said. “Nobody did anything to stop these criminals, probably because Queen Beatrix and King Albert likely interfered with the investigations.”

Alleged to be present during the human hunting parties were the late Prince Johan Friso and his wife Mabel Wisse Smit, former ministers, the top man of the Dutch army, the under secretary of the Raad Van State in the Netherlands, the Vice-Roy next to Queen Beatrix and other global business and political leaders including some from the US. “Surely the present King Willem Alexander and King Filip and their wives know about this abuse and murder of children” said one eyewitness.”They do nothing about it and likely are the ones to stop investigations and prosecutions.”

European Royals Killing Naked Children For Fun At Human Hunting Parties

Human hunting parties were said to take place on the grounds of Belgium Queen Beatrix’s Palace in the Netherlands. Two witnesses have named former Pope Joseph Ratzinger and Queen Beatrix’s father the deceased Prince Alfrink Bernhard, as being present at child sacrifices. Both were said to be Nazi sympathizers.

The ICLCJ Court received a collection of Jesuit archival records about a child sacrificial cult known as the Knights of Darkness. In 1933 the Knights were established by the Catholic Jesuits and Nazi Waffen S.S. Division. The records showed Ratzinger was identified as a member of the Knights while working as an S.S. Chaplain’s assistant at the Ravensbruck Concentration Camp in Germany. The records also stated that Ratzinger participated in child sacrificial rites using kidnapped children from the camps or political prisoners.

Another court document called the Magisterial Privilege indicated child sacrifice was a regular occurrence at the Vatican. At the tender age of 12 “Svali” of San Diego County California claimed she was brought to catacombs beneath the Vatican to witness the sacrifice of a three year-old drugged boy. In this video her interviewer said that 24 years prior a “Maria” told him she witnessed another satanic child sacrifice rite in the same Vatican Catacombs.

European Royals Killing Naked Children For Fun At Human Hunting Parties

Last week an Irish police investigator reported to the ICLCJ Court that the close to 800 babies buried in a Catholic Nun’s septic tank were dismembered, decapitated and in bits and pieces – signs that they could have been murdered in Satanic child sacrifice rites. In the last two months the ICLCJ Court has heard these heart-wrenching testimonies about the rape, torture and murder of children as recently as 2010 by Catholic leaders, European royal family members and other global elites. Murder sites of the Ninth Circle Satanic Child Sacrifice Cult were said to be in the catacombs of Catholic Cathedrals including the Vatican and on private estates, military establishments and groves in Belgium, Holland, Spain, Australia, France, England and the US.

The ICLCJ Court has been overwhelmed with newly discovered evidence and a number of new witnesses coming forward to testify about Ninth Circle Satanic Child Sacrifice Cult activities. They have uncovered Ninth Circle Satanic Cult member possible involvement in international child sacrifice, kidnapping, exploitation and drug rings. The five international judges and 27 jury members were expected to remain in session for at least a year due to the complexity of the cases.

Amnesty has been offered to citizens or employees of the Vatican, Crown of England, churches or governments willing to give sworn testimony or evidence that leads to the prosecution of these global elites suspected of committing crimes. Rewards up to 10,000 euros or around 13,660 dollars was available through the ICLCJ court.

The ICLCJ Court had over 450 Common Law Peace Officers in 13 countries, with 51 local chartered groups operating. Local organizing funds were available for common law groups that applied through the International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State. Horrified Customer Finds Dead Rat In His Wrap From Chop’t… After He Took A Bite

The act of purchasing a salad in Manhattan has become a considerably risky move now that it’s no longeruncommon to find dead animals inside.

We are happy to announce that the latest discovery ventures out of the reptile family and back intoindigenous territory, as the longtime rulers of the city’s animal kingdom strive to take back the spotlight from frogs and lizards.

A guy found a dead rat in a wrap he ordered at the Chop’t at 80 Pine Street, Gothamist reports, only seeing the animal’s head after he had taken a bite.

The photo of the sandwich was uploaded to Twitter by Steven Henderson of Forest Hills, and we should note that we can’t be sure if it’s a rat or a mouse.

Henderson’s colleague is apparently a picky eater so he didn’t even care to find out.

Chop’t Founder Tony Shure told Gothamist that he had been informed about the rat shortly after it was found and shut down the store for the rest of the day so staff could engage in “a deep clean.”

The Financial District location of this Chop’t store at 80 Pine Street has boasted an A rating as of its most recent inspection in September of last year, though after today’s debacle the Health Department may revise their findings.

Krystal Henderson, 29, was horrified when she bought a chicken meal for her step-son Oliver Hallam, only for him to bite into a piece and find it was hard and inedible - closer inspection revealed it was a piece of blue hand roll.

The nursery nurse, from Gosforth, Newcastle, said: 'I got a shock. I thought the actual chicken had gone off. All it was inside was deep-fried blue roll.'

Krystal Henderson, 29, was horrified when she bought a chicken meal for her step-son Oliver Hallam, only for him to bit into the 'chicken' and find it was hard and inedible - closer inspection revealed it was a piece of blue hand roll

'Realising it was blue roll was worse than chicken. If it was bad chicken they might have just had a bad batch or something, but the blue roll could have been used for anything - it could have bleach or disinfectant on it.

'I didn't know where the blue roll had been because it was screwed up.

'Had someone wiped their hands on it, had it been used to wipe the floor?

'To give that to a child, I felt so guilty even though it wasn't my fault. For a child to bite into that is horrendous.

'When he bit into it, it was rock hard. He pulled it out of his mouth and when he did, it pulled away the batter - you could see the blue roll inside.

'If you bite into something that awful you are just taken back.'

Ms Henderon bought the meal from the Killingworth branch of KFC on Tyne and Wear as a takeaway to eat at home.

But as Oliver went to tuck into one of the four boneless pieces of chicken - bought for £1.99 - he noticed something was amiss.

After realising what it was inside, Ms Henderson returned to the restaurant but was simply told to call customer support.

'I was traumatised by it - I was really upset,' she said. 'I went back into the store crying and they said I had to call customer service.

'I had to keep ringing them and keep following it up. It felt like I had to do all the work when it was their mistake.

'I work full time and I'm a mother. I just don't have the time to keep chasing them up and ringing around.

'After what has happened, I shouldn't have to.'

She said the incident has put her and Oliver off KFC for life.

'Oliver is only 7 but he knows exactly what was going on and he doesn't want to go to KFC again,' she said.

'He didn't eat anything for the rest of the week. He completely lost his appetite.

'He wasn't unwell or grumpy, just lost his appetite.'

Following an investigation, KFC apologised and offered her a free meal.

A letter to Ms Henderson read: 'The blue tissue has most likely originated from a tissue roll used for KFC hygiene purposes.

'The store assume it must have fallen unseen into the breading lug that is under the sieve and was not noticed by the cook.'

A spokesperson for the franchise that operates KFC in Killingworth said: 'We're very sorry for Ms Henderson's experience and apologised to her immediately, as well as giving her a refund at the time of the incident.

'We take food quality and hygiene very seriously and unfortunately, on this extremely rare occasion, our restaurant failed to meet the high standards that both we and our customers expect.

'We have retrained staff on our stringent food preparation procedures at this store to ensure this doesn't happen again.'

Weird Creature Caught Near Great Wall Of China

A chinese tourist has taken what he says is a photo of a “monster” hiding in the valleys of Huairou, in the north of Beijing.

Weird Creature Caught Near Great Wall Of China

The unnamed holidaymaker was camping with some friends in the hilly region, not far from the Great Wall of China, when he saw the “creature”.

“I walked far away to have a pee, and suddenly saw a monster. I took a few pictures of it, but I am now terrified.”

The image of the strange flesh-coloured creature nestled among the bamboo is certainly striking, and has a marked resemblance to the creature Gollum from the Lord of the Rings films.

However, rather than being fake, a sci fi actor has since come forward to admit it was actually him taking a break from filming.

The actor was also rather embarrassed to reveal that his ‘monster-like stance’ was due to him squatting down on the floor to urinate.

‘Over the week I and my friends went to the mountains to make a mini sci-film film,’ he said.

‘And when I was having a pee a person popped up and took pictures of me and shot away.’

Are Mummified Remains Of Unidentified Creature Proof Of The Mythological Kappa?

In ancient Japanese folklore, the Kappa is a water demon that inhabits rivers and lakes and devours disobedient little children. While some believe the legend originated from sightings of the Japanese Giant Salamander, a species still alive today, others maintain that the myth is real and that an unusual set of mummified remains, showing a webbed hand and a foot, is proof that the Kappa exists. Now people will have the opportunity to see for themselves as the unusual body parts will go on display for the first time on the island of Kyuushuu in Japan.

The Kappa, a word meaning ‘river child’, is usually depicted with the body of a tortoise, a beak, and the limbs of a frog, and has a hollow filled with water on top of his head. While they are primarily water creatures, they are believed to occasionally venture onto land. According to legend, the cavity must be kept wet when the Kappa ventures out of the water, or he will lose his powers.

Kappa are usually seen as mischievous troublemakers or trickster figures. Their pranks range from the relatively innocent, such as making rude noises or looking up women's kimonos, to the malevolent, such as drowning people and animals, and kidnapping children and eating them. Parents are known to use the legend of the Kappa to scare children away from the water.

The Kappa is one of the most well-known folk legends in Japan and many believe the mythical creature to be true. In fact, there are signs near some lakes in Japan warning people of their presence. However, others maintain it is much more likely that the legend of the Kappa is connected with sightings of the Japanese Giant Salamander, or ‘hanzaki’, which is known to be aggressive and to grab its prey with its powerful jaws.

Now believers and sceptics alike will have the opportunity to see some mummified remains, purportedly belonging to a Kappa, and to decide whether or not they belong to the legendary creature. The remains, which include a foot and an arm with hand attached, are said to have been given to the Miyakonijo Shimazu family after a Kappa was supposedly shot on a riverbank in 1818. They will now go on show for the first time at the Miyakonojo Shimazu Residence in Miyazaki prefecture on the island of Kyuushuu in Japan.

Mummified remains purporting to be from the Kappa - a scaly green water demon said to be around the same size as a child - are going on show in Japan.

The mummified remains are not the first Kappa mummies to have been found. A number of claims of Kappa mummies have been made, although some are known to have been crafted by Edo-period artists (1603 to 1867) using parts of animals ranging from monkeys and owls to stingrays.

The Edo period saw some serious scientific literature devoted to the study of the Kappas. Suikokouryaku (1820), for example, is a compendium of kappa-related information gathered from a variety of sources from Japan and China. The book, which is housed in the Iwase Bunko Library, includes numerous kappa sketches, several of which are shown below.

According to Japanese folklore, one way in which one can defeat a Kappa is to take advantage of its obsession with manners. If a person were to deep bow to a Kappa, it would return the gesture, causing the water to spill from the hollow on its head, thus rendering it immune to its powers. It was believed that if a human were to refill the water, the kappa would serve them for all eternity. Legends say that Kappa can also be repelled using their aversion to iron, sesame, or ginger.

After centuries of stories and investigations, scientists have not managed to confirm the existence of the mysterious creature, despite the fact that numerous bones have been discovered that are said to belong to the Kappa.

From the stone statues, the sarcophagi, and the tombs, we can assume they were people with a very high degree of development who expressed their religious and magical beliefs through sculpture.

According to research, the people of San Agustín, pressed by aggressive invaders, were forced to leave their lands and take refuge in the Amazon and Orinoco regions. Their disappearance took place sometime between 1300 and 1400 AD.

The “Original” Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls

The “Original” Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls

For centuries, Bible scholars examined two ancient texts to elucidate the original language of the Bible: the Masoretic Text and the Septuagint. The Masoretic Text is a traditional Hebrew text finalized by Jewish scholars around 1000 C.E. The Septuagint is a Greek translation of the Torah created by the Jews of Alexandria in the third century B.C.E. (The other books of the Hebrew Bible were translated over the course of the following century.) According to Septuagint tradition, at least 70 isolated ancient scholars came up with identical Greek translations of the Torah.

Which is the “original” Bible? How do we decide which of these two ancient texts is more authoritative? In “Searching for the ‘Original’ Bible” in the July/August 2014 issue o fBiblical Archaeology Review, Hebrew University of Jerusalem scholar and long-time editor-in-chief of the Dead Sea Scrolls publication team Emanuel Tov suggests we turn to the Dead Sea Scrolls to help us compare the Masoretic Text and the Septuagint.

The “Original” Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls

Some of the Dead Sea Scrolls actually have more in common with the Greek Septuagint than the traditional Hebrew Masoretic Text, showing that the Greek translators must have been translating from Hebrew texts that resembled the Dead Sea Scrolls. Are the Dead Sea Scroll texts as trustworthy as these other two sources? Are they as close to the text of the original Bible?

Some turn to the Dead Sea Scrolls simply because they are older: 2,000-year-old texts were less likely to be subjected to scribal corruption, implying that they reflect a more original Bible language. Tov supplements this chronological reasoning with a logical—and admittedly subjective—approach: He examines which text makes the most sense in a given context. Tov examines a number of textual discrepancies between Bible versions (Did God finish work on the sixth or seventh day before resting on the seventh day? How were the nations divided according to the number of the sons of God?) in his search for the original Bible.

As an example, Tov asks: Did Hannah bring one bull or three bulls as an offering at Shiloh? (1 Samuel 1:24):

When the infant Samuel had been weaned and his mother, Hannah, finally came to Shiloh with her son, she also brought with her an offering for the Lord that is described in two ways in our textual sources. According to the Masoretic Text, she brought “three bulls,” but according to the Septuagint and a Qumran scroll (4QSama from 50–25 B.C.E.) she brought one “three-year-old bull.”

I believe that Hannah probably offered only a single bull (as in the Septuagint and 4QSama); supporting this choice is the next verse in the Masoretic Text which speaks about “the bull.” I believe the Masoretic Text was textually corrupted when the continuous writing (without spaces between words) of the original wordsprm/shlshh (literally: “bulls three”) underlying the Septuagint was divided wrongly to pr mshlsh (“three-year-old bull”).

The evidence of the Septuagint, being in Greek, always depends on a reconstruction into Hebrew, and consequently the Qumran scroll here helps us in deciding between the various options. Incidentally an offering of a “three-year-old bull” is mentioned in Genesis 15:9. It shows that a Hebrew text underlying the Septuagint once existed in which Hannah brought only one three-year-old bull.
The “Original” Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls

Tov uses the Dead Sea Scrolls to elucidate the original language of the Bible not only because they are the oldest Bible manuscripts, but also because they provide additional logical clues. He concludes: “In finding our way in the labyrinth of textual sources of the Bible, we must slowly accumulate experience and intuition. When maneuvering among the sources, we will find much help in the Dead Sea Scrolls. But they must be used judiciously.”
