5 Psychological Experiments That Show Just How Dark Humanity Can Be

We present you the most notorious and most popular experiments of all-time. Some of the most fascinating and deplorable experiments ever conducted that prove that we do have a dark side…

1. Conformity – Asch Experiments (1953)

During the 1950s, Solomon Asch conducted and published a series of laboratory experiments that demonstrated the degree to which an individual’s own opinions are influenced by those of a majority group.

Male college students participated in a simple “perceptual” task. In reality, all but one of the participants were “confederates” (i.e., actors), and the true focus of the study was about how the remaining student (i.e., the real participant) would react to the confederates’ behavior.

Only one participant was actually a genuine subject for the experiment, the rest being confederates, carefully tutored to give certain pre-selected responses. Careful experimental construction placed a varying amount of peer pressure on the individual test subject.

The experiment was simple in its construction; each participant, in turn, was asked to answer a series of questions, such as which line was longest or which matched the reference line. (Fig 1)

The participants gave a variety of answers, at first correct, to avoid arousing suspicion in the subject, but then with some incorrect responses added.

The Asch Experiment results were interesting and showed that peer pressure could have a measurable influence on the answers given.

The control group, those not exposed to peer pressure where everybody gave correct answers, threw up only one incorrect response out of 35; this could probably be explained by experimental error.

The results for the other groups were interesting; when surrounded by people giving an incorrect answer, over one third of the subjects also voiced an incorrect opinion.

At least 75% of the subjects gave the wrong answer to at least one question, although experimental error may have had some influence on this figure. There was no doubt, however, that peer pressure can cause conformity.

It was debated whether this is because people disbelieve the evidence of their own eyes or if it was just compliance, that people hide their opinions.

2. Helping – The Good Samaritan Experiment (1973)

The Biblical story of the Good Samaritan, if you hadn’t heard, is about a passing Samaritan helping an injured man in need, while other, self-righteous types walk right on by. Psychologists John Darley and C. Daniel Batson wanted to test if religion has any effect on helpful behavior.

The researchers had three hypotheses:

1. People thinking religious, “helping” thoughts would still be no more likely than others to offer assistance.
2. People in a hurry will be less likely to offer aid than others.
3. People who are religions in a Samaritan fashion will be more likely to help than those of a priest or Levite fashion. In other words, people who are religious for what it will gain them will be less likely than those who value religion for it’s own value or are searching for meaning in life.

The recruited seminary students for a study on religious education. First they completed personality questionnaires about their religion (to help evaluate hypothesis #3). Later they began experimental procedures in one building and then told to go to another building to continue. On the way they encountered a man slumped in an alleyway (the victims condition is unknown — hurt, or drunk?).

They varied the amount of urgency they told the subjects before sending them to the other building, and the task they would do when they got there. One task was to prepare a talk about seminary jobs, and the other about the story of the Good Samaritan. In one condition they told the subject they were late for the next task, in the other they said they had a few minutes but they should head on over anyway.

In an alleyway they passed a man sitting slumped in doorway, who moaned and coughed

twice as they walked by. They set up a scale of helping:

0=failed to notice victim as in need
1=perceived need but did not offer aid
2=did not stop but helped indirectly (told the aide on their arrival)
3=stopped and asked if victim needed help
4=after stopping, insisted on taking victim inside and then left him.
5=refused to leave victim, or insisted on taking him somewhere

After arrival at the 2nd research site, they had the subject give the talk and then answer a helping behavior questionnaire.

The amount of “hurriness” induced in the subject had a major effect on helping behavior, but the task variable did not (even when the talk was about the Good Samaritan).

Overall 40% offered some help to the victim. In low hurry situations, 63% helped, medium hurry 45% and high hurry 10%. For helping-relevant message 53%, task relevant message 29%. There was no correlation between “religious types” and helping behavior. The only variable that showed some effect was “relgion as a quest”. Of the people who helped, those who saw religion as a quest were less likely to offer substantial help than those who scored low on this statement. But later analysis revealed this may not be caused be real religious differences.

Ironically, a person in a hurry is less likely to help people, even if he is going to speak on the parable of the Good Samaritan. (Some literally stepped over the victim on their way to the next building!). The results seem to show that thinking about norms does not imply that one will act on them. Maybe that “ethics become a luxury as the speed of our daily lives increases”. Or maybe peoples cognition was narrowed by the hurriedness and they failed to make the immediate connection of an emergency.

Many subjects who did not stop did appear aroused and anxious when the arrived at the second site. They were in a conflict between helping the victim and meeting the needs of the experimenter. Conflict rather than callousness can explain the failure to stop.

3. Bystander Apathy Experiment (1968)

The bystander effect was first demonstrated in the laboratory by John Darley and Bibb Latané in 1968 after they became interested in the topic following the murder of Kitty Genovese in 1964. These researchers launched a series of experiments that resulted in one of the strongest and most replicable effects in social psychology. In a typical experiment, the participant is either alone or among a group of other participants or confederates. An emergency situation is then staged. The researchers then measure how long it takes the participants to act, and whether or not they intervene at all. These experiments have often found that the presence of others inhibits helping, often by a large margin. For example, Bibb Latané and Judith Rodin staged an experiment around a woman in distress in 1969. 70 percent of the people alone called out or went to help the woman after they believed she had fallen and gotten hurt, but when there were other people in the room only 40 percent offered help.

4. The Stanford Prison Experiment (1971)

Twenty-four male students from Stanford University participated in the experiment, all of whom were given randomly assigned roles. The participants adapted to their roles better than Zimbardo could have anticipated, as the guards began to enforce authoritarian measures and subjected some of the prisoners to psychological torture.

As for the prisoners, many passively accepted the psychological abuse, and even harassed other “prisoners” at the request of the guards when they tried to prevent it. Zimbardo also found himself effected by the experiment in his role as the superintendent, ultimately permitting the abuse to continue. Two prisoners quit the experiment early and the entire study was stopped after only six days.

The results of this experiment demonstrate the impressionability and obedience of people “when provided with a legitimizing ideology and social and institutional support.” This is something the citizens of the US are now experiencing on a massive level due to the current police state.

5. The Milgram Experiment (1961)

The Milgram experiment on obedience to authority figures was a series of notable social psychology experiments conducted by Yale University psychologist Stanley Milgram, which measured the willingness of study participants to obey an authority figure who instructed them to perform acts that conflicted with their personal conscience.

The experiments began in July 1961, three months after the start of the trial of German Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann in Jerusalem. Milgram devised his psychological study to answer the question: “Was it that Eichmann and his accomplices in the Holocaust had mutual intent, in at least with regard to the goals of the Holocaust?” In other words, “Was there a mutual sense of morality among those involved?” Milgram’s testing suggested that it could have been that the millions of accomplices were merely following orders, despite violating their deepest moral beliefs. The experiments have been repeated many times, with consistent results within societies, but different percentages across the globe. The experiments were also controversial, and considered by some scientists to be unethical and physically or psychologically abusive. Psychologist Diana Baumrind considered the experiment, “harmful because it may cause permanent psychological damage and cause people to be less trusting in the future.”

The participants in the Milgram experiment were 40 men recruited using newspaper ads. In exchange for their participation, each person was paid $4.50.

Milgram developed an intimidating shock generator, with shock levels starting at 30 volts and increasing in 15-volt increments all the way up to 450 volts. The many switches were labeled with terms including “slight shock,” “moderate shock” and “danger: severe shock.” The final two switches were labeled simply with an ominous “XXX.”

Each participant took the role of a “teacher” who would then deliver a shock to the “student” every time an incorrect answer was produced. While the participant believed that he was delivering real shocks to the student, the student was actually a confederate in the experiment who was simply pretending to be shocked.

As the experiment progressed, the participant would hear the learner plead to be released or even complain about a heart condition. Once the 300-volt level had been reached, the learner banged on the wall and demanded to be released. Beyond this point, the learner became completely silent and refused to answer any more questions. The experimenter then instructed the participant to treat this silence as an incorrect response and deliver a further shock.

Most participants asked the experimenter whether they should continue. The experimenter issued a series of commands to prod the participant along:
  1. “Please continue.”
  2. “The experiment requires that you continue.”
  3. “It is absolutely essential that you continue.”
  4. “You have no other choice, you must go on.”
The level of shock that the participant was willing to deliver was used as the measure of obedience. How far do you think that most participants were willing to go? When Milgram posed this question to a group of Yale University students, it was predicted that no more than 3 out of 100 participants would deliver the maximum shock. In reality, 65% of the participants in Milgram’s study delivered the maximum shocks.

Of the 40 participants in the study, 26 delivered the maximum shocks while 14 stopped before reaching the highest levels. It is important to note that many of the subjects became extremely agitated, distraught and angry at the experimenter. Yet they continued to follow orders all the way to the end.

Because of concerns about the amount of anxiety experienced by many of the participants, all subjects were debriefed at the end of the experiment to explain the procedures and the use of deception. However, many critics of the study have argued that many of the participants were still confused about the exact nature of the experiment. Milgram later surveyed the participants and found that 84% were glad to have participated, while only 1% regretted their involvement.

So do you think you would behave differently than people in the experiments?

Video of “Mysterious Fireballs” In The Sky Above Michigan Goes Viral

A video posted to YouTube last September shows strange fireballs raining down from the sky over the city of Davison, Michigan. The video has received over 135,000 views since it was posted and many people have weighed in on what they think it is. From the poster:

“I was NOT around any body of water during recording. I did NOT hear ANY plane/ jet or explosion. I did NOT see any plane/jet or object . Even with binoculars in which we where ALSO using. No object was observed . This is exactly what we saw.”

Viewers suggest that it could be a variety of things, from a UFO breaking up and crashing into the Earth, a series of meteors, or that some chickens flew too high and passed out due to lack of oxygen. Not too sure about that last one…

Kanye West Exposes The Illuminati

If you haven’t heard the infamous Kanye West interviews from Novemeber 26th, 2013; you’re in for a treat. The media, hip hop, and pop culture sites have been making a big deal about these interviews, claiming that Kanye was on a “rant” when in reality I think he is starting to hit on the truth. In fact, he kind of predicted this would happen and said it’s not a rant, but a “Visionary stream of consciousness.”

In the past, Kanye has been vacillating between good and evil like Eminem, with his hit songs ranging in values from the ‘good’ Jesus Walks to the more ‘evil’ Monster. To me it seems that he was exposed to the Illuminati power system and went along with it for a time and became a superstar, but now is right up at the doorstep to the billionaire boys club and they’re not letting him in and he won’t stand for it. So here’s an analysis/breakdown/review of what he talked about. Although I highly recommend you listen to both interviews for full context, I’ll just type up the noteworthy highlights.

As an overall guide, he had an overarching message that the elite billionaires run this world, and have manipulated our reality to make the masses enslaved to symbols and false desires of what is important.

Here’s the Breakfast Club interview:

10 Celeb Deaths Related To The Illuminati

In pop culture, the Illuminati has been featured many times over in movies, TV shows, video games, and comic books. It’s unclear if this secret organization that allegedly influences world affairs and has many prominent personalities as its members is still in existence today. But because it’s appeared in dozens of entertainment mediums, it’s heavily associated with celebrities.

Many enthusiasts believe that the secret organization has masterminded many of the most controversial deaths in history. Some of the political figures that purportedly died by the hand of the Illuminati were John F. Kennedy, Jr., his brother Robert, Abraham Lincoln, and even Princess Diana. Yes, these theories sound absolutely absurd and we don’t know if there’s any truth to it.

But how about we take a look at the celebrities who were rumored to have been rid of by the Illuminati? This is purely speculation, but conspiracy theories are so interesting to ponder on, aren’t they?

Cory Monteith

10. Cory Monteith

The Glee star had just completed his rehabilitation treatment for his battle with drugs and he was supposedly sober and clean already. Which is why it came as a shock when reports surfaced that Cory Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room in July 2013, apparently of a drug and alcohol overdose. Illuminati watchdogs claimed that his death was simply a ritual sacrifice.

Anna Nicole Smith

9. Anna Nicole Smith

In her short, but tumultuous life, Anna Nicole Smith experienced many hardships, the worst tragedy of which was the death of her son. It was said that she never quite recovered from his demise and a few months later, she died of an apparent drug overdose. Many chalked it up to depression, but Illuminati theorists believe that her death was one of the ritual sacrifices of the organization.

John Lennon

8. John Lennon

It appears that John Lennon made many controversial statements that got him into trouble, to the point that he was considered a threat by the INS and FBI, which had him under surveillance. Illuminati theorists believed that his assassin, crazed fan Mark David Chapman, was ordered by the organization to kill Lennon to silence him.

Amy Winehouse

7. Amy Winehouse

She was as talented as she was troubled. For years, Amy Winehouse struggled with alcohol and drug addiction and in one of her last concerts before her death, she was even slurring and stumbling onstage, clearly under the influence. The concert didn’t push through as scheduled and this put a dent on her career. Winehouse was said to have spoken out about a member of the Illuminati trying to make her into the shape of a triangle, the Illuminati symbol, which she didn’t agree to. She died of a drug and alcohol overdose in 2011.

Kurt Cobain

6. Kurt Cobain

Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain was said to have been involved with the Illuminati in the sense that they wanted to use him for their mind-control experiments and studies. Cobain showed a lot of skepticism in the procedure and was reluctant to participate. Because of insubordination, he was viewed as a threat and he died from a gunshot wound on April 1994. It was ruled a suicide, but many tend to wonder if that was an accurate conclusion.

Whitney Houston

5. Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston’s death was a shocker, though many weren’t surprised by the cause: a drug overdose. Houston had been battling with drug addiction for many years before her death, but it was believed that she had already sobered up. Rumor has it that she was rid of as blood sacrifice of the Illuminati, though the reasons of why the members supposedly wanted her gone are unclear.

Brittany Murphy

4. Brittany Murphy

She gained recognition in the teen flick Clueless, after which she went on to do more serious roles. But Brittany Murphy was perhaps featured most prominently in the news when she suddenly collapsed and died under mysterious circumstances. After an examination, it was said that her cause of death was pneumonia and anemia, but when her husband mysteriously died a few months later, a toxicology report showed that the couple’s home contained a high level of toxic mold in its foundation. But Illuminati theorists claim that the poisonous stuff may have been put there on purpose.

Aaliyah

3. Aaliyah

Just when her music career was taking off and her future seemed so bright, 22-year-old R&B singer Aaliyah died in a plane crash. She and her entourage perished not long after taking off from the Bahamas. Illuminati fanatics believe that the singer may have been sacrificed by the organization so that fellow R&B up-and-coming star, Beyonce, who’s said to be a member of the elite circle, could rise to stardom without any competition.

Philip Seymour Hoffman

2. Philip Seymour Hoffman

Like many of his fellow actors, Philip Seymour Hoffman succumbed to death from a drug overdose in his New York City apartment. It’s said that when the Illuminati are out to make blood sacrifices, they usually target individuals who are already struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Seymour Hoffman was certainly an easy target if it’s true that he fell victim to the organization.

Michael Jackson

1. Michael Jackson

Purported to be an Illuminati member, the king of pop may have gotten on the organization’s bad side when he started speaking out against them and how they were trying to control the music industry. Michael Jackson also said that there was a conspiracy to destroy his name by labeling him a pedophile. His words may have caused him his life because on June 2009, Jackson was found dead of an apparent drug overdose in his home.

Blood Moon Bible Good Friday Easter

Blood Moon Bible Good Friday Easter

On Saturday evening - just as Passover draws to a close - an eery blood colour will engulf the moon.

It is the third of four successive total 'blood-red' lunar eclipses, each followed by six full moons - an extremely rare 'Tetrad'.

Experts are predicting that the moon will be fully-obscured for five full minutes - and that the rare phenomenon will be visible across North America, Asia and Australia.

According to NASA the incredible alignment has only happened a handful of times in the last two thousand years.

The King James Bible predicts: "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD comes," [Joel 2:31].

The BloodMoon will be visible across North America John Hagee, an American pastor, claims the strange timing of the event - between the anniversary of Jesus's death on Good Friday and His resurrection on Easter Sunday - proves a religiously significant global event is about to unfold.

He said: "There's a sense in the world that things are changing and God is trying to communicate with us in a supernatural way.

"I believe we're going to see something dramatic happen in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the whole world.”

He added: "What is so remarkable about this blood moon is that it specifically fulfills prophecies set out in the Bible.

"Joel Chapter Two also says the 'Day of the Lord will be as when the sun refuses to shine'.

"Even Jesus himself, in the Book of Luke, states there 'will be signs in the sun, moon and stars' and to 'lift up your heads for redemption draws nigh'.

"There's a sequence of prophetic events that the Bible says will happen. It does not, ever, give a timeline.

"It just says 'when you see these signs' - and four blood moons is a very significant one - 'the end of this age is coming."

The reddish colour seen during a total lunar eclipse is a reflection of light from all the sunsets and sunrises across the world at that time and some experts think this weekend's eclipse will be less overwhelming.

Astronomer Andrew Smith said: “Because the moon’s only skirting just inside the edge of the shadow, it might not be quite as deep an effect.

The total lunar eclipse, unlike a solar eclipse, is completely safe and can be viewed without any protective eyewear.

The Lyrids Meteor Shower will see 20 meteors per hour at its peak on April 21 and 22.

And on May 23, Saturn will be 'at opposition', when the ringed planet will be at its closest point to earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the sun.

Possessed Patients: True Tales of Hospital Demons

$

0

While the woods are full of things that go bump in the night, forested areas hardly have a monopoly on the supernatural. If the stories from medical professionals are accurate, hospitals, nursing homes, and other medical facilities also play host to spirits, particularly those of the demonic variety.

A Patient Possessed

Nurses deal with death on a daily basis, so it’s hardly surprising that many turn to religion as a source of wisdom and comfort. However, encounters with demonic forces may also influence nurses’ views on the battle between good and evil. In a chilling tale on AllNurses.com, one nurse shares her experience with a dying patient who was more than he seemed.

According to the nurse, the patient suffered from a variety of ailments that could end his life at any time. However, the man was terrified of death and raged at the nurses to keep him alive.

“Every time his heart monitor beeped, he would go into a rage screaming, ‘Don’t let me die! Don’t let me die,’” the nurse writes. “We soon found out why he didn’t want to die.”

One night, the patient took a turn for the worse, and the nurse rushed into his room with emergency supplies. However, she wasn’t prepared for what she found.

“This man was sitting about two inches above the bed and was laughing,” the nurse writes. “His whole look completely changed. His eyes had a look of pure evil and he had this evil smile on his face. He laughed at us and said, ‘You stupid bitches aren’t going to let me die are you?’”.

After this frightening outburst, the man went into cardiac arrest and died 20 minutes later. However, the terror was far from over. Five minutes after a doctor pronounced the patient dead, the newly-deceased man sat up in bed and started to laugh, saying “You let him die. Too bad.” What happened next sounds like something from a horror movie.

“We heard a horrible, agonizing scream and then you could hear ‘don’t let me die’ whispered throughout the unit,” the nurse reports. “Every one of the nurses that night was pale and scared. Nobody went anywhere by themselves. By morning, the whispers of ‘don’t let me die’ were gone.”

A Terrifying Vision

Another tale, also from AllNurses.com, describes a patient’s terrifying vision just minutes before her death.

“She was given a patient who was passing away and had been unconscious for several days,” a nurse writes of her friend who worked in an oncology unit. “At one point during the night, the nurse went into the room and the patient was at the top of the bed and looked at her and said, ‘Don’t let them take me.’ The nurse was freaked out and asked the patient who was going to take her, and she said ‘that black thing up there’ and pointed up in the air. This patient died within minutes.”

The Mark of the Beast

Nurses aren’t the only medical professionals to encounter sinister forces on the job. A paramedic on EMTCity.com shares his experience with a dying patient and a number many call the mark of the beast.

Like the dying man in the hospital, the paramedic’s patient was highly agitated, and he seemed to dread his impending death.

“We get there and it’s this poor guy in his early 40′s who is bald from chemo and sitting on his brother’s couch,” the paramedic writes. “He just kept saying, ‘Ooh. No. No. Oooh.’ and looking around the room, flinching every now and then like he was waving away flies. We got him to sit on the stretcher, and he said, ‘No, not now.’”

The man sadly crumpled to the ground a few minutes later and died with tears on his cheeks. As the paramedic drove the man’s body to the emergency room, he wondered about the patient’s post-death fate. That’s when things started to get weird.

“As I wondered if the man would go to heaven, I got a bad feeling, like darkness was creeping all around us,” the medic writes. “I happened to look down at the volt-meter and I saw the number 666 flashing. This panel normally doesn’t flash at all, it just reads voltage. It went 666, then .1, then 666, then .1, then 666, then .1, and then it went back up to 1200 or so and stayed that way. The uneasy feeling went away, but I still prayed the whole way to the hospital.”

For those unfamiliar with the significance of 666, many Christians associate the number with evil due to a passage in Revelation. In the New International Version of the Bible, Revelation 13:15-18 reads:
“The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.”
Do demonic entities prey on the souls of humans? Let’s hope not. However, many religions teach that evil spirits are a real risk to both the faithful and disbelievers. What do you think?

Wrapped fully in white cloth, the body falls onto the road as pallbearers carry the coffin past a street lined with grieving friends and relatives.

But rather than stop to recover the body, the coffin bearers continue walking, unaware of their awful mishap.

Onlookers rush to rescue the body from the middle of the road as the crowd shrieks in horror.

The body is quickly placed back in the coffin before the funeral processions continues.

Secret Underground City of Ellora Caves - Ancient Aliens In India?

Secret Underground City of Ellora Caves - Ancient Aliens In India?

“We are at Ellora caves in India, and I am going to show you some solid evidence about a secret underground area that is hidden under these caves. As you can see, there is a rectangular tunnel about 1 foot wide that is vertically going down, and is not open for public access. I asked the security guards if I could take a closer look and they told me that visitors are not allowed but they also told me that, this tunnel is over 40 feet deep and then it takes a right angle turn to proceed underground. Nobody knows what’s inside after that because the tunnel becomes too narrow for human beings to get through it.

Here is another one that is hiding in plain sight. You can see a channel on the ground and there is a small rectangular opening at the end of this passage that would drain the water to the other side of the temple. But, I went to the other side of this rock but guess what? It is a solid stone!! So, there is no other way, except that this rectangular opening leads to the underground. Notice that the rectangular opening is only large enough for a 10 year old to go in? Since adult human beings can’t access it, was it designed for human beings at all?

WATCH:

This is another hidden passage in Ellora caves that I tried to get through, but after 10 feet, it becomes so narrow that I can’t go any further. Where do these mysterious tunnels lead? Who could have used such narrow passages? The other important question is: how can you carve such narrow passages if human beings cannot even get through them? Was it carved by humans at all? Were these carved for extraterrestrials that are smaller than human beings?

Notice how this entrance is clearly going underground, in this cave temple. These are underground areas hiding in plain sight. The security guards told me that there are several underground tunnels in Ellora caves which gradually become too narrow for human beings to access them, and all of them are locked. From these old doors, we can assume that these tunnels have been closed from public access at least 30 to 40 years ago.

These underground tunnels are not found in the same area, but are scattered over many different caves in Ellora, which stretches across a few miles. Is it possible that there could be a vast underground city like Derinkuyu in Turkey? Derinkuyu is an enormous underground city with advanced technical features that could accommodate more than 20,000 people, which was hidden for centuries only to be discovered in 1965.

If it is true that there is a vast underground city in Ellora, shouldn’t there be ventilation shafts that would allow air from the ground to reach below. In Derinkuyu, there are thousands of holes drilled from the ground that act as ventilation shafts to the underground city. Look at this long ventilation shaft in Ellora caves that is drilled secretly in a dark chamber. It is about 4 inches wide, but it is so deep that we can’t even see the other end. Could this be a ventilation shaft that reaches the underground city?

How about this ventilation shaft, which is also going underground? You can also see hundreds of holes like this drilled on the rock floor. Some of them are unfinished, and only few inches deep, but notice how the other holes have been closed with concrete recently. I asked why some of these holes have been closed and my tour guide told me that someone dropped their car keys into one of them, but these holes are so deep that they couldn’t retrieve it. So, they just covered these holes by putting concrete over them.

What else could be the purpose of these deep holes on the floor, if they are not ventilation shafts? Why would hundreds of holes be drilled on these rock floors with painstaking efforts without any reason? Now, this is one of the abandoned, bat infested places and let’s take a look at what’s inside. This seems like a very old sanctum holding a lingam, which is a Hindu god. Centuries ago, plenty of water would be poured on this lingam everyday as part of religious worship, and it would drain through this channel. Notice that this water drain has been closed recently with some rocks. Where would the water go? Let’s see…It would go vertically down through this tunnel.

Unless there is an area underground, this would be pointless because the water would just overflow all over the place! All over Ellora caves, there are hundreds of idols which would require thousands of gallons of water poured on them every day. Was this a technique to get clean water underground that could be used for different purposes?”

A 300 Million Year Old Screw? Researchers Baffled

There are numerous archaeological discoveries that science cannot understand, we have come across countless findings that have ended up as being just that, findings that have caught the attention of researchers, but have yet to be accurately explained.

In this case we have a screw that according to researchers is 300 million years old, and like many awkward discoveries in the past, it was found in Russia in the 90’s.
Russian scientists found it by chance actually, as they were performing analysis after the fall of a meteorite in the Kaluga region when they came across a mysterious object that resembled a modern-day screw. Scientists were baffled and did not know what to think of it. Did it come from space? Is this screw proof of ancient civilizations that inhabited Earth millions of years ago? What is it?

The fossil surrounding the screw has around 2 cm long. It was discovered in a scientific expedition that was performed by a group called the Kosmopoisk group, which is scientific research group responsible to conduct UFO related research, cryptozoological research and paranormal pseudoscience. Initially they suited up and went to search for the remains of the meteorite that impacted the Kaluga region in Russia. Suddenly, they came across the screw, and incredibly, after paleontological analysis, it turned out that the age of the “stone” was somewhere between 300 and 320 million years. The artifact was analyzed using X-Ray technology, which provided researchers with another shock, it turned out that another screw was present inside it.

Many scientists have tried explaining the origin and details of the “screw”, some have proposed that it could be the remains of a Crinoids (Marine animals that make up the class Crinoidea of the echinoderms) This theory was discarded due to the fact that the screw is much larger than the average size of these animals.

The theories as to what this object is are pillage up. Skeptics are having a field day and they love to debunk discoveries like this one, offering a much simpler answer, suggesting that its nothing, probably the remains of an old factory, vehicle, or anything else that can make you, the reader look elsewhere for answers, without paying much attention to details such as the age, and region where it was found.

Meet The Physicist Who Wants To Build A Time Machine To Communicate With His Dead Father

Theoretical physicist Ronald Mallett pours dry ice into a ring laser in this arranged photograph taken in a University of Connecticut laboratory March 23.

There’s an unmistakable paradox surrounding the sudden death of Ron Mallett’s father when Mallett was an impressionable kid growing up in the Bronx: Had Boyd Mallett survived, his son never would have devoted himself with such obsessive zeal to unraveling the mystery of time travel in hopes of saving his father’s life.

Should Ron Mallett someday succeed — traveling backwards in a time machine to warn his father about this two-pack-a-day smoking habit — he would, in theory, be extinguishing the flame that has burned inside him for decades.

(Have you seen the movie “Interstellar”? Yeah, it’s kinda like that.)

“My love for him is still as strong as it was 60 years ago,” Ron Mallett told The Washington Post of his father, who died in 1955 at age 33. “When I’m on my death bed, I will be thinking of him. His death is the reason I am what I am.”

What he is is a 69-year-old theoretical physicist at the University of Connecticut who, at the tail end of a celebrated career, finds himself closer than ever to building the time machine that has mesmerized him since childhood.

Mallett’s work is rooted in the work of Albert Einstein’s general theory of relativity. His greatest achievement is a 15-year-old theoretical equation that, he believes, holds the key to finding his father and revolutionizing the way we think about time. To test the equation, Mallett needs to raise $250,000 for a feasibility study.

“People don’t realize how expensive research is,” he told The Post. “The Wright Brothers didn’t just build a plane. First, they actually built a wind tunnel to determine the best configurations for aircraft wings. When it comes to a time machine, we need to build the wind tunnel before we can think about building the plane.”

Einstein understood that if space could be twisted, then time could also be “twisted and bent back on itself to form loops,” according to Bloomberg. Based on that insight, the crux of Mallett’s theory is that a circulating beam of light is an even more effective way of twisting space and time.

Mallett likes to demonstrate his theory using a coffee cup (watch the video below).

Mallett proudly promotes his coffee cup demonstration now; but when he received his doctorate in 1973, he kept his time travel obsession quiet. At the time, he was one of only 79 African Americans among about 20,000 PhD physicists in the country, according to Bloomberg.

Discrimination in the field was much more prevalent at that time, Mallett said, and he worried that his interest in time travel would derail his chance of receiving tenure.

“Because of the fact that there were so few of us, I knew that I had to step carefully,” he said. “But I’ve always felt like the best way of getting back was achieving success.”

It’s an attitude he picked up early from his father, a World War II veteran who served as a medic in Europe before returning home and using the GI bill to enroll in technical college. There, he reinvented himself as a television repairman.

At home, however, Mallett’s father was intensely focused on grooming his family for even bigger things. He forced his kids to listen to classical music radio broadcasts and read poetry. He reveled in taking apart the family television set and showing his mechanically minded son how the entrails worked in concert. He believed strongly in the importance of education, Mallett recalls, and would only dole out his son’s allowance if his son could pass a multiplication test.

“If I ever have a chance to talk to him, I’d want to ask him what motivated him to go into electronics and become the renaissance man that he was becoming,” Mallett said, noting that his father grew up the poor son of a Pennsylvania brick-maker. “It’s like he was trying to build himself into a cultured, educated person and he was doing it all on his own.”

His father’s death from a heart attack at 33 plunged the family into poverty and sent 10-year-old Mallett into a crushing period of depression.

“He looked like this strong, robust man,” Mallett once told the Boston Phoenix. “When he died of this massive heart attack, it was as though the impossible had happened He was like Superman. I was just in a daze.”

The family relocated to Altoona, Penn., where what little money Mallett received from his mother was spent on five-cent books from the Salvation Army. Fueled by fantasies of time travel, those books quickly became a means of escape.

After graduating from high school, Mallett enlisted in the Air Force and spent four years as a computer technician for Strategic Air Command at Lockbourne Air Force Base outside Columbus.

Eventually, he earned his doctorate and was hired by United Technologies, where he spent two years working with lasers. Although he longed for academia, his understanding of lasers would prove invaluable decades later as he developed his theory about using light to bend time.

As he nears the end of his career, Mallett, who is married and has two stepchildren, is pushing on.

And what better time to do so? This year, Bloomberg notes, is “the 100th anniversary of Einstein’s general theory of relativity that made time travel a serious topic among today’s theoreticians and the 60th anniversary of his father’s death.”

Spike Lee bought the rights to Mallett’s 2006 autobiography, “Time Traveler,” and is shopping a script, the scientist said.

He’s raised only $11,000 of the $250,000 he needs to carry out his crucial experiments. He is at once helped and hampered by the very notion of time travel, a concept that galvanizes as much dismissal as curiosity.

“What people have to realize is that this is real science,” Mallett said. “The Wright Brothers had been able to get the financing they needed for their wind tunnels, it would have advanced things faster.”

With the aviation pioneers in mind, he finds comfort in a quote by Simon Newcomb, the onetime director of the U.S. Naval Observatory: “Flight by machines heavier than air is impractical and insignificant, if not utterly impossible.”

“Newcomb made his statement in 1902,” Mallett notes. “In 1903, the Wright Brothers flew for the first time.”

Skeleton Dated To 3.67 Million Years Old

Little Foot is a big deal. Not only is this rare and wonderfully preserved skeleton the most complete australopithecine -- a putative evolutionary ancestor of humans-- specimen ever discovered, but it is also one of the oldest hominid skeletons dated so far. However, Little Foot has caused quite a stir among the scientific community, and no one could agree on how old he is. Now, thanks to an advanced dating technique, researchers think that they can finally slap an age on this famous skeleton.

According to their results, Little Foot died 3.67 million years ago, making him an older relative of the equally famous skeleton “Lucy.” If this date holds up, it could mean that Little Foot is an ancestor of the human lineage, which is exciting. The findings have been published in the journal Nature.

Little Foot, a member of the Australopithecus genus, was unearthed 21 years ago in a cave at Sterkfontein, South Africa. Alongside this nearly complete skeleton, the cave was found to contain one of the biggest collections of Australopithecus fossils in the entire world. In a different section to Little Foot, paleontologists also discovered an assemblage of early stone tools, which are thought to be some of the oldest known from South Africa.

While there is no doubt that the site is millions of years old, the precise age of the specimens has been contentious. Dating techniques produced wildly different ages for Little Foot, ranging between 2 to 4 million years old. Although many agreed with an estimate of 3 million years, scientists were keen to attempt to place a more accurate date on the skeleton using a technique called isochron burial dating.

This method involves measuring the ratios of different forms, or isotopes, of the elements aluminum and beryllium in the rocks surrounding the fossil. The isotopes --aluminium-26 and beryllium-10-- are only created when rocks are exposed to cosmic rays. When the rock goes underground, the atoms begin to decay at a known rate, which is assumed to be constant. By looking at the ratios of these isotopes, scientists can therefore estimate how long a sample has been buried for.

According to their measurements, Little Foot is 3.67 million years old, and the stone tools found in the same cave are 2.18 million years old. That significantly pushes back the previously proposed date for tool-bearing hominids in this part of Africa, the researchers say.

Alongside providing a new date for the specimens, the scientists also argue that Little Foot represents a new species of Australopithecus, called A. Prometheus, which is quite different to A. afarensis, a contemporary relative. However, this assertion has attracted criticism as some researchers believe Little Foot could be an example of A. africanus, a species which is not thought to be an ancestor of humans. Scientists are still conducting detailed analyses of the skeleton, which should hopefully offer some further clarity on this issue.

The Real World War I: 13,000 Years Ago

History had it all working apparently, the first world war happened thousands of years ago according to researchers who have found evinced of the first mayor military conflict at Jebel Sahaba.

At a time when we were commemorating the (barely) one hundred years of the so-called First World War, researchers have discovered traces of the oldest large-scale military confrontation in the history of mankind. Now we know for sure that war and destruction are not new in the history of mankind. Surprisingly the reasons for disputes do not seem to vary with the passing of the centuries. This what a team of French researchers managed to find out based on human remains found on the banks of the River Nile: the first major armed conflict that happened 13,000 years ago and lasted for several months, making history as the first mayor “global” conflict in human history.

“The skeletal material is of great importance – not only because of the evidence for conflict, but also because the Jebel Sahaba cemetery is the oldest discovered in the Nile Valley so far,” said Dr. Daniel Antoine, a curator in the British Museum’s Ancient Egypt and Sudan Department.

A parallel investigation led by British and American anthropologists, indicates that the cause or the trigger of this global conflict would have been the racial difference among people (Racism isn’t new apparently). This conclusion stems from the discovery that the deceased belonged to the sub-Saharan population, ancestor of the contemporary black people, and their enemies could belong to Levantine peoples living in the territory of the Mediterranean.

According to archaeological studies, the two groups had a very different look and great cultural and linguistic differences, this is believed to have been the trigger that caused a fierce competition for natural resources.

Researchers believe that this would have occurred in a context of global climate change, where the search of food and substances provoked clashes and violent encounters in the ultimate goal to survive leading to a long and sad history of wars.
“I suspect there was no outside enemy, these were tribes mounting regular and ferocious raids amongst themselves for scarce resources,” “Nobody was spared: there were many women and children among the dead, a very unusual composition for any cemetery, and almost half bore the marks of violent death. Many more may have died of flesh wounds which left no marks.” – Renee Friedman – American Egyptologist

Whistleblower: Massive Extraterrestrial Crafts Hiding Behind Moon

Whistleblower: Massive Extraterrestrial Crafts Hiding Behind Moon

A government whistleblower recently stated that officials are baffled as to why numerous extraterrestrial crafts have docked themselves on the opposite side of the moon.

Dr. Eric Norton, an outside consultant for the NSA and NASA for the past 12 years, was hired to track various object in space including meteors, comets, etc.. but recently has been following a number of unidentified aircrafts that were heading towards Earth.

On January 22, 2012, Dr. Norton was called to the MacDonald Observatory in Texas and saw “massive, three dimensional black structures in space, in straight line formation advancing in the direction of planet Earth. The object seemed to be emitting some sort of force field that deflected space particles from touching their surface, almost like the magnetic field around the earth. The objects were getting so close that, with our telescopes, we could see the structural features of these things in high detail. They were shaped as a three dimensional “L” shaped craft. By January 2013, the objects had been tracked to about 200,000 miles past the planet Mars. Once they reached this point, almost instantaneously, the object vanished from our telescope lenses as if they had activated some sort of invisibility shield at the flick of the switch. I knew that the upper echelons of government were worried about these things because I was under a constant 24/7 guard by Secret Service agents. For nearly the entire year of 2013, we watched the skies in disbelief. We didn’t know what was going on or where these things were. According to my calculations, these things would have been so close to us by now that we would have no problem seeing them in the night sky had they stayed visible to us. We didn’t know if they were still coming or had left the solar system.”

Dr. Norton was sent home and was awaiting additional order, if needed, but had not heard anything else about this situation for approximately 6 months. Upon all of the commotion around the government shutdown as well as the shutdown of numerous space monitoring programs, Dr. Norton finally made a call to a close friend who he worked with confidentially who told Norton that “the objects reappeared and had repositioned themselves behind the moon” in a circular type of alignment, which allowed them to dock to the backside of the moon in order to remain invisible to skywatchers.

Norton added that the blackout of all space monitoring programs was essential in “keeping the lid on what had happened.”

“We don’t know what they are, what they are doing or what they’re going to do. We do know that there have already been fluctuations in Earth’s gravity field and the gravity field which links the moon to the Earth.”

According to Dr. Norton, if this information were to be revealed to the masses, it would cause a breakdown of all religions as well as the “breakdown of society, itself”.

It is this writers opinion that our society is ready to acknowledge the existence of other forms of life other than what is already on our planet. The biggest fears would be from those who have kept us living as economic slaves for millennia through subservience, control and conformity as their illusion of their fiat currency falls apart. They will continue to grasp on to this illusion for as long as possible while keeping the rest of us in the proverbial dark until the last possible second in order to maintain their illusion of power.

If the extraterrestrials are changing the magnetic waves in the gravitational field of this planet, it could have implications on what that might do to our brains and more specifically, what we are capable of doing.

For example, a slight change in the magnetic field may affect the Schumann Resonance where the frequencies are more derived from pure love or as some may call it, “Christ Consciousness”. It may also open up our minds to their fullest collective capacity where we all have instantaneous abilities, such as telekinesis, ESP and other psychic or metaphysical abilities.

The Earth is currently undergoing a magnetic pole shift, which has not occurred in at least 700,000 years on this planet, so perhaps this visitation has something to do with that?

Many people believe that the moon is a large satellite, so the possibility remains that those who placed it here have returned.

While much of this is speculation, no one truly knows who they are or why they are on the moon. Only time will tell!

'Aliens Exist, But Have Never Entered Japanese Airspace': Japan's Defense Minister

Alien spaceships have never entered Japanese airspace, the country’s defense chief told the Diet on Thursday, amid questioning about the threat from space aliens.

Defense Minister Gen Nakatani said the nation’s warplanes can be scrambled whenever there is a report of an unidentified flying object. But, he said, jets have so far encountered no UFOs from space.

“When the Air Self Defense Force detects indications of an unidentified flying object that could violate our country’s airspace, it scrambles fighter jets if necessary and makes visual observation,” he said.

“They sometimes find birds or flying objects other than aircraft but I don’t know of a case of finding an unidentified flying object believed to have come over from anywhere other than Earth,” he said.

Nakatani, a sober politician with a reputation for thorough understanding of his brief, was responding to a question from flamboyant wrestler-turned-lawmaker Antonio Inoki.

At a meeting Wednesday of the Upper House Budget Committee, Inoki had asked if aircraft were dispatched to meet extraterrestrial visitors and “whether studies are going on.”

Inoki, known for his outsized chin and trademark red scarf, said he did not know whether or not aliens existed, but he had once seen a mysterious flying object rocket into the air on the horizon and disappear.

Wednesday’s exchange was not the first official Japanese pronouncement on space aliens and their aircraft.

A 2007 statement said the government “has not confirmed the existence of unidentified flying objects believed to have come from anywhere other than Earth.”

But the statement, formally endorsed at a Cabinet meeting, prompted a surprise rebuttal from the top government spokesman. “Personally, I absolutely believe they exist,” said Nobutaka Machimura, chief cabinet secretary at the time.

The defense minister of the day, Shigeru Ishiba, also said that in his personal opinion there were “no grounds” to deny the existence of UFOs controlled by alien life-forms.

Most Weirdest Pics That You’ve Ever Seen

A youngster’s ghostly playmate has been caught on camera in a photograph taken on a mobile phone, a family claims

In most cases spirit is content to remain vigilant yet all but undetectable. But for various reasons, such as sudden unexpected death or family crisis, they might make every effort to gain your attention- saying in effect, “I’m still here, see??”

This is a stunning apparition ghost photograph, submitted to Angels & Ghosts by its owner Sunny Virk. It was photographed in 1978, near the well in the village of Tewar (Mohali), Punjar, India. It is enlarged.

This is a surveillance video still – video is supposed to show the ghost manifesting, but we have yet to see it. The haunting is of a tearoom in Perth.

Mansfield, Texas

This ghost picture was taken at the Crumlin Road Prison in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The prison was host to seventeen executions and at least a few murders by inmates. There were numerous suicides inside the haunted prison as well.

1952

The background is mottled after all. But it does look like a legitimate face. What do you think?

This pic was taken in Greencastle, Indiana at the Ohare mansion – there is a famous ghost of the Pink Lady here and they caught her both on film and video. After being featured on T.V. this film was subjected to heavy photo analysis and shows no evidence of tampering or fraud.

In Rhode Island, a woman took a cell phone pic of her 22 month-old niece, Penny, while babysitting her alone. After looking at her photo and seeing the woman behind Penny (who wasn’t there at the time), she had it examined but no tampering was detected. She has since compared family photos and realized that it looks a lot like her deceased great grandmother.

This picture is definitely spooky. The photographer had a friend who had recently been killed. You can see a picture of that friend in the top right corner for comparison. Behind the photographers little girl appeared what looks strangely close to the face of the photographers friend.
