A Polish priest who performed an exorcism on a possessed teen girl says he is now being contacted by the demon through text message.

Father Marian Rajchel of Jaroslaw says he drove the devil out of the teen’s soul and then possessed her cell phone in a bid to intimidate him. He says demons are comfortable with “modern technology.”

“The author of these texts is an evil spirit who has possessed her soul,” Rajchel said. “Often the owners of mobile phones are not even aware that they are being used like this. However, in this case it is clear.”

“Shut up, preacher. You cannot save yourself. Idiot. You pathetic old preacher,” one text read.

“She will not come out of this hell,” another read. “She’s mine. Anyone who prays for her will die.”

He says he text-messaged the demon back and told it that he is indeed praying for the girl.

"Clearly this young girl has been possessed, and needs further help," he added.

Saudi Arabia is building the world’s largest botanical gardens on nearly 2.5 million square meters of desert land near Riyadh. A stellar environmental initiative to educate the public on climate change, or a tourism-boosting novelty? However you dice it, it’s amazing.

The enormous facility – five times larger than the UK’s Eden Project– focuses on the history of local plants in the Arabian Peninsula, then peers forward to a more sustainable future (it will use renewable energy for power and plant irrigation).

King Abdullah International Gardens (KAIG) is an enormous desert park; 150 hectares of the 160 hectare site will be planted with indigenous species, mostly contained within two giant domes – crescent-shaped structures that resemble a swirling galaxy.

Appropriate imagery for gardens that look back to the origins of life on earth – KAIG will contain a detailed time line that portrays the great paleobotanical ages that have swept across the region.

Siteworks began in 2008. The final project includes several botanical gardens, split in two sections. One will display historical plant evolution in the Arabian Peninsula, including a museum of animals contemporary with those times. This section will be fully contained under the domes.

An open-air section will contain indigenous plants current to today, a desert park, rock gardens, and a garden featuring different styles of landscaping from across the world.

The project also includes a flower garden, a physics garden, geological park, and separate sections for birds, fish, butterflies and reptiles.

Irrigation will use 100% recycled greywater obtained by treated sewage effluent generated on site. Renewable energy will fully power the place, 93% of the landscaping materials will be sourced from the original site (soil, rock, stone, gravel, soil), and waste will be recycled.

Visitor and worker transport will be restricted to electric vehicles charged from the on-site solar array.

The decapitated body of 70-year-old Eledina Gabitanan was found outside her home in Purok Esperanza, Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City last month.

Barangay officials were shocked to note that as Eledina's body lay outside, her son, Percival, was sitting inside the house with her head just a few meters away from him.

According to the family's neighbors, they heard Eledina asking for help at around 3 a.m. last Thursday, July 24.

One of the neighbors, Rosalinda Alfsicar, then sought help from barangay officials.

When neighbors first went to the Gabitanans' house, she said Percival was just sitting down as if nothing happened. She said the suspect had already washed the body of his dead mother when they arrived.

Percival admitted to ABS-CBN News that he tied up his mother before killing her.

He claimed they were just talking when his mother's appearance allegedly changed into that of an "aswang."

That was when Percival said he got up to look for a bamboo stake that he could use to stab her. However, he said the bamboo stake failed to pierce through her, so he decided to cut off her head.

Inspector Richard Fajarito, deputy commander of police station 8, said Percival's statement was inconsistent, and that the latter had admitted using illegal drugs.

Police said the suspect will be facing parricide charges.

The UN Has Laid the Foundation for World War III

Dating back over a 100 years, the United States laid claim to much of the Arctic region.The Arctic region is known to hold large amounts of untapped oil and gas reserves. The United Nations previously canceled all land claims in the Arctic region. This is in response to these territories being at the center of several disputes between the United States, Russia, Canada, to a large degree, and it also includes Norway and Denmark, to a smaller degree.

Under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, which was finalized in 1982, countries can lay claim to the ocean floor well beyond their borders so long as they can provide convincing scientific evidence to prove that a particular seabed is an extension of their continental shelf. Already, countries have sovereign rights to resources within 200 nautical miles of their territorial waterways. For a country to determine whether they have economic sovereignty beyond that distance, the UN agreement requires comprehensive mapping that establishes some sort of geologic justification for the claim. And where the Arctic is concerned, Canada, the US, Norway, Russia, and Denmark have been amassing scientific evidence for more than a decade in an effort to increase their piece of this resource-rich pie.

The process of determining the national origins of several sea shelves is a multi-generational endeavor. The United Nations is dragging its feet on making any determination as to the validity of claims upon the Arctic region. It appears that the failing world’s national economies cannot afford to wait 20, 30, 40 years before laying claim to such a vast amount of wealth. This is a prescription for war and I submit that this is being done deliberately by the globalists controlling the UN.

The UN’s Motivation to Start WW III

The United Nations is ultimately controlled by the global elite. In fact, the origins of the modern UN owes it location and prominence to David Rockefeller who provided both the seed money and the land in New York City for its present location.

The ubiquitous purpose underlying the shenanigans of the global elite is to establish order out of chaos, or more accurately, the New World Order out of manufactured chaos. The best way to build the New World Order is to destroy the old one and the most efficient method of doing that is creating the conditions that will lead to World War III.

While all eyes are on Ukraine, Syria and Iran, we should be focused on the North Pole. For it is in the Arctic that war drums are beating. By purposely delaying the determination of rights of claim to Arctic land containing vast amounts of mineral resources, the United Nations has all but guaranteed that a war will be fought to determine control over the region and its resources. The remaining part of this article will describe the arms race and secret war games being conducted in preparation for World War III in the Arctic.

A Telling Interview with Sweden’s Agneta Nordberg

Agneta Nordberg is the Vice Chair of the Swedish Peace Council, a member of the Steering Committee in The International Peace Bureau (IPB) and she is highly concerned that Sweden is being used by the United States and its NATO allies to conduct their war games on Swedish soil. Sweden is a supposed neutral country and has signed agreements in opposition to exactly what is going on which are secret war games on its soil. And if it were not for aNorwegian military plane crash into MountKebnekaise, the world would never have discovered these secret war games taking place in northern Sweden and Norway. Nordberg stated that the reason for the war games is because of the melting ice which has exposed the vast amounts of mineral resources, the largest in the world. It is not an overstatement to proclaim that whoever controls the Arctic, will someday control the world’s economy.

A clear picture is emerging on the corporate influences which will culminate in World War III in the Arctic.


Seven Years of Secret Arctic U.S. War Games

Since 2007, there have been massive NATO Arctic war maneuvers in both Sweden and Norway with all of NATO, and specifically, the United States. One of the war games was dubbed the Nordic Air Meet, in 2007, where most of NATO took part in massive war games designed to protect interests in the Arctic from Russian incursion. Again, in 2009, operation Loyal Arrow, was held which was the largest air war game in history involving the northern part of Sweden, Norway, and also in Finland. These Arctic war games have continued with the Cold Response №1, a winter maneuver in the northern part of Sweden and northern Norway. And another war game took place in March of 2012, known as the Cold Response №2.

In a very provocative move, both NATO and the U.S. have installed an advanced radar system only a few kilometers from the Russian border known as the Vardo radar system. Vardo is dangerous because it is embedded within a missile defense system. This system is a checkmate against Russian offensive missile weapons systems located near the Arctic. The installation of Vardo is an act of aggression and, in some circles, is considered an act of war.


Russia’s Military Objectives

Follow the money and all questions will be answered with regard to America’s enemies and their designs on control of the Arctic, most notably, the Russian government and its military. A clear picture on why Russian soldiers are being spotted in many locations in Alaska is also becoming transparent. This story starts with the giveaway of seven oil rich Islands which should be a part of Alaska but was given away to Russia when Obama was elected President. The giveaway of these Islands constitutes treason by Obama.

Senator Begich from Alaska wrote a letter in response to my previous claims of treason with regard to the giveaway of these Islands and said that these Islands always belonged to Russia and the proof for this dates back to 1867. Then this should have never been a point of contention in the Alaska media, and it was, when the transfer was made (See the map featured below of the disputed Islands that appeared repeatedly in the Alaskan media at the time of the transfer). My military sources should not be concerned with this giveaway if this was only a benign giveaway, but they are highly concerned as they have pointed out to me that three of the Islands could be ideal origination points for a Russian invasion of Alaska. The other four Islands serve to support Russian military forays into the mineral rich Arctic region. The duplicitous nature of the Begich letter, published by a reader, in the comment section of my website, should be cause for concern because the emerging facts suggest that Russia is preparing to conquer and possess the mineral rich resources of the Arctic.

Operating under the notion that a picture is worth a thousand words, let’s take a look at the seven disputed Islands and Russian mineral retrieval activities in the Arctic.

Now compare the Russian Arctic mineral retrieval activities and the military significance should jump off the page at the reader. There are additional Russian Arctic territorial claims which conflict with US territorial claims.

Russia is making several territorial claims in relation to several Arctic shelf areas and is planning to defend their claims to the United Nations.

After reading the final section of this article, I believe the Russian intention of obtaining UN approval is merely window dressing. They are preparing to take what they want by whatever means necessary.

 

For the Russians to realize their Arctic goals, Alaska would have to be neutralized and the groundwork has been laid for this eventuality.

Additionally, a successful Russian takeover of the Arctic would depend on the neutralization of America’s nuclear capabilities. This objective is being carried out by Obama as I write these words.

To Obama and Begich, I would ask both of you if this is just a misunderstanding which can be explained away by using the word, COINCIDENCE, because we know that in the shadowy world of Washington DC and the corporate controlled media, there is no such thing as a conspiracy.

Conspiracies aside, Obama and Begich will have fun explaining the following publicized military activities of the Russians which never really died.

Judge by Their Actions, Not by Their Word

All five of the previously mentioned nations, along with China, have territorial and mineral claims with regard to the Arctic and these claims conflict with each other and form the breeding ground for WW III.

The Russians are in war mode, Arctic war mode. I do not see how any reasonable person could read the following accounts of Russian military buildup in the Arctic and not conclude that the spark for WW III will not begin here.

Russia is adding 40 new naval ships to its nuclear arsenal in 2014. By the end of 2015, Russia will have nearly as many naval ships as the United States.

Retrofitted combat aircraft from Russia’s Northern Fleet will extend the ranges of their patrol flights over the Arctic in 2014 using a network of revamped Soviet-era airfields.

The Russian fleet’s Tu-142 and Il-38 reconnaissance and anti-submarine warfare aircraft carried out over 30 patrol missions in the Arctic last year. The Russians have announced their intentions to carry out many more such missions.

Ballistic missile submarines make up one part of Russia’s strategic nuclear triad along with land-based ICBMs and the Russian bomber force.

The Borey submarine is Russia’s first post-Soviet ballistic missile submarine class and will form the mainstay of the strategic submarine fleet, replacing aging Typhoon, Delta-3 and Delta-4 class boats. The creation of the Borey signals that the Russian economy is in war mode.

Russia ultimately expects to manufacture eight Borey-class submarines by the year 2020. People constantly are asking me for time frames connected to these events and I dismiss such questions as a fool’s errand.

However, the deployment of these submarines by 2020 may provide a clue as to the timetable that the globalists are operating under. Oh yes, make no mistake about it, this coming war will not happen without the blessings of the Bastards from Basel.

Additionally, the Russians are commissioning other submarines as well. Russia’s first Project 885M Yasen-class attack submarine, the Severodvinsk, was handed over to the navy at end of 2013.

This submarine has been under construction since 1993. This fact goes a long way to justify the claims made by several Russian defectors that the Soviet Union never really fell and always planned to attack the United States at some future date.

Conclusion

If enough people were to hold Begich’s and Obama’s feet to the fire, they would have some very difficult explaining to do.

I think it is little wonder that Congress is in the process of taking capital punishment off of the books for a conviction of treason.

Many are probably wondering about the presence of Russian troops in the lower 48 states. And what about that bilateral agreement between FEMA and the Russian military to bring thousands of soldiers to US soil.

What about the Chinese, how do they factor into all of this? These related connections will be covered in a future article.

Alone, the simple little robot can’t do much, shuffling around on three vibrating tooth-pick legs. But working with 1,000 or more like-minded fellow bots, it becomes part of a swarm that can self-assemble into any two-dimensional shape.

These are some of the first steps toward creating huge herds of tiny robots that form larger structures—including bigger robots. Building swarming robots can also help scientists understand collective behavior seen in nature, from bird flocks and fish schools to networks of cells and neurons.

In the past, researchers have only been able to program at most a couple hundred robots to work together. Now, researchers at Harvard University have programmed the biggest robot swarm yet.

“It’s really a big accomplishment,” said roboticist Hod Lipson of Cornell University, who wasn’t involved in the work. “It’s the first demonstration of this swarm robotic behavior at the scale of 1,000 physical robots.” Getting even tens or a hundred robots to work together is difficult, with a lot of algorithmic and technical challenges, he says.

Fancy robots with wheels, odometers, orientation sensors, and cameras can make self-assembly easier, said Mike Rubenstein, the roboticist who led the research team. “But if it’s too complicated, you can’t build a thousand robots.” That would be too expensive and difficult. At the same time, if you make your robots too simple, their capabilities become too limited. “So there’s a difficult trade-off.”

The researchers used robots they designed and built called Kilobots, which aren’t much bigger than a penny. Each one costs $14 in parts and only takes a few minutes to put together—you can even order some for yourself. To program them all at once, the researchers beam down instructions via an infrared light from an overhead controller. The robots communicate with one another by sending and receiving infrared signals. The team programmed 1,024 of these robots to gather into the shape of a star, the letter “K,” and a wrench (watch the robots at work in the video below).

The shape formation begins with four seed robots that act as the origin of a two-dimensional coordinate system. The other robots scurry one-by-one along the edge of the group toward the seed robots. Once the robots sense they’re behind another robot or at the boundary of the shape they’ve been programmed to form, they stop. The newly positioned robots then broadcast their locations so that their bot brethren know where to go. Each robot keeps track of its location and orientation relative to its neighbors.

These kinds of self-organizing algorithms have many applications, such as in driverless cars, Lipson says. Sooner or later, driverless cars will chauffeur us around, he says, and they’re going to need sophisticated algorithms to ensure smooth traffic flow and to avoid collisions.

Eventually, swarming robots could even lead to what’s called programmable matter. Imagine thousands of tiny robots forming whatever three-dimensional structure you want, whether it’s a hammer or a cell phone—a kind of 3-D printing that works like programmable, self-molding clay. “That’s the dream,” Lipson said.

Or, Rubenstein says, these tiny robots can act as biological cells, forming the building blocks for bigger, shape-shifting robots. The idea is that such a robot could take whatever shape is best suited for a particular task. It could assume the shape of a snake to slither across sand, form legs to crawl over rock, or even a wheel to roll up and down a hill. A swimming robot could become more aerodynamic to slice through water. It could even split into two if the task requires it. And, these collective robots would be easily fixed, since ideally every one of the tiny robots would be cheap and replaceable.

Of course, that’s still a long way away, Rubenstein says. For now, he’d like to design robots that can actually attach to one another and form rigid structures. Another area of improvement would be to refine the algorithm so that robots can arrange themselves more quickly. Right now, the robots scuttle around one at a time, taking hours to form a shape. But with an algorithm that allows them to assemble in parallel, then they can shape up faster.

A faster algorithm would also enable even larger swarms of 10,000 robots to self-assemble, which could otherwise take days. But first, there are practical issues. “I would need a bigger table,” Rubenstein said.

A new report released in the Kremlin today by the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) is stating that the reason(s) for President Obama’s “mysterious and unscheduled” return to the White House this weekend is due the United States facing an “apocalyptic attack” from an estimated 3,000 “Ebola Martyrs” who are already in America and warned are “ready to strike”.

According to this report, SVR intelligence analysts became aware of the attack planned by these “Ebola Martyrs” against the US from their “monitoring” of a Islamic State (IS) [also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS)] terror cell operating out of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia located in Washington D.C.

In the past few weeks, this report continues, this IS terror cell has had “total freedom of movement” around Washington D.C. with no US intelligence service monitoring of them and have brazenly taken and posted photos of their: 1.) flag pinned to the White House fence [top photo left] and 2.) One of their operatives holding a letter against the backdrop of a US government building [photo 2^nd left] that reads: 

“Soldiers of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria will pass from here soon,” followed by a Koran verse that reads, “and Allah is perfecting His Light even though the disbelievers hate (that).”

The underlying tweet posted with these photos further warned America: “We are in your state.  We are in your cities.  We are in your streets.”

Important to note, the SVR in this report says, is that like this new attack planned upon America, the Saudis were, likewise, “deeply responsible” for the 11 September 2001 attacks upon the US, and as recently verified by US Democratic Representative Stephen Lynch and Republican Representative Walter Jones who publicly warned the American people last December that two administrations have kept 28 pages of a 2002 report on the 9/11 so highly classified that they don’t contain redactions — just an ellipsis noting their absence.

Lynch and Jones claim that the 2002 report from Congress after the 9/11 attacks that left 3,000 Americans dead contains material that “absolutely shocked” them — and that pins the blame on Saudi Arabia for state support of the attack.

Though the Saudis deny any role in 9/11, the SVR says, the CIA in one memo reportedly found “incontrovertible evidence” that Saudi government officials — not just wealthy Saudi hardliners, but high-level diplomats and intelligence officers employed by the kingdom — helped the hijackers both financially and logistically.

The intelligence files cited in the 2002 report, it’s critical to note, directly implicate the Saudi embassy in Washington and consulate in Los Angeles in the attacks, making 9/11 not just an act of terrorism, but an act of war.

Not understandable about Obama, this SVR report further states that upon taking office in 2009, and becoming fully aware of Saudi Arabia’s act of war against the US on 9/11, he traveled to their kingdom and “bowed before their king”. [Photo 3^rd left]

Even worse, this report continues, where the Bush regime had capped the number of Saudi students allowed into the US to just 10,000 a year, Obama has, since he took office, “opened the flood gates” to them to such an extent that now there are over 110,000 of them in America today.

The danger of allowing so many Saudi students into America, SVR analysts in this report say, is not only due to their involvement in 9/11 (where 15 of the alleged 19 hijackers were Saudi students), but by their sheer numbers as they are not able to be adequately monitored by any US intelligence agency.

Of these over 110,000 Saudi students now in the US, this report warns, around 8,000 of them are devout IS followers financed by the richest terror organization the world has ever known having assests of over US$2 billion…all of which was financed by Saudi Arabia.

And of these 8,000 IS terror members in the US posing as Saudi students, the SVR states, nearly 3,000 have become “Ebola Martyrs” willing to die in their “mission” of infecting as many Americans as they can before their stated deadline of October.

To how these “Ebola Martyrs” were “created”, this report continues (and as we had previously reported on), was contained in the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) report for the Ministry of Defense (MoD) this week on the ever growing Ebola virus apocalypse currently devastating a number of Western African nations and that no one has been able to explain its rapid and unprecedented dissemination.

While the World Health Organization (WHO) has today stated that official death toll from the deadly Ebola outbreak in West Africa is currently standing at 1,069 deaths out of 1,975 cases, it also admits that this number “could be vastly underestimated” and that beds in treatment centers are “filling up faster than they can be provided”.

Also, even though the experts at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) [aka Doctors Without Borders] stated earlier today that this current Ebola crisis will “take six months to control”, this SVR report notes that they stated that same thing back in April when they said“we will manage to contain this outbreak in a short amount of time…” when the death toll was only 78.

As to why this Ebola outbreak has spread so fast and widely, this report chillingly states, is due to an “alliance from hell” between the IS and the West African Islamic terror group Boko Haram whose leader, Abubakar Shekau, recently praised IS for having taken over large swathes of Iraq and Syria.

Shekau, likewise, SVR analysts in this report say, is the “mastermind” for the creation of these “Ebola Martyrs” who are directly responsible for the spread of this disease in their attempts to perfect it as a biowarfare weapon against the US and EU.

And due to the “experiments” conducted by both Boko Haram and IS operatives in how best to transmit this disease, the SVR says, is what has allowed the unprecedented spread of Ebola these past months.

In just one example of these “experiments” conducted by Boko Haram and IS, this report outlines, their operatives were directly infected with the Ebola virus and then sent on “martyr missions” to other West African nations and villages where they would then withdrawal their own blood and disperse it to their “targets” at roadside cafes/restaurants by adding it to the water or other beverages people would purchase.

Specifically to be “targeted” by these Boko Haram “martyr missions”, the SVR grimly notes, were health care professionals who dressed head to toe in suits that are specifically designed to prevent the spread of the virus (especially Westerners) and whosedeath toll to date numbers over 170 that as yet no one is able to explain.

As to why Saudi Arabia is using IS and Boko Haram to target the United States with these “Ebola Martyrs”, SVR intelligence experts in this report say, is due to the US$100 million15-acre mega-mosque due to be opened in October outside of Washington D.C. in October, and at which time it will become the largest and most striking example of Islamic architecture in the Western hemisphere.

Financed by Turkey, this report says, the ceremonial stone dedicating this mega-mosque was laid by Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan in May 2013, who was once jailed in his own country for inciting Muslims when he stated about mosques: “The minarets are our bayonets; the domes are our helmets. Mosques are our barracks, the believers are soldiers. This holy army guards my religion. Almighty, Our journey is our destiny, the end is martyrdom.”

Even worse this report warns, the current “cold war” in the Middle East has now taken two forms as it involves the Shiite-Sunni war being fought in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and the Gulf, as well as a parallel Sunni-Sunni conflict involving Turkey, Saudi Arabia and political Islamic forces to control and dominate the politics of Sunni Islam.

Dominating the Sunni sphere requires controlling religious interpretation, especially that relating to political systems. In this regard, the model of Islamic democracy practiced in Turkey is considered a challenge to the political realm of Saudi religious theory…and with the October opening of the mega-mosque outside of Washington D.C., this report says, the Obama regime has now completely aligned itself with Turkey against Saudi Arabia.

This is absolutely horrible and the image below is beyond disturbing as it shows what happened to a dog that drank from a well in Liberia that was deliberately poisoned by men trained to go around poisoning wells. So far it is being reported that 16 people have died from this new, but yet unnamed bio weapon, used with the specific purpose “to kill the residents under the pretext of Ebola outbreak.”

A few suspects are under police custody over the alleged poisoning. One of the accused is said to have confessed that 250 men have undergone training to poison wells across the country, but the claim is yet to be verified.

The photo below is very disturbing, comes from the Liberian Observer, which states “He added that the water was tested on a dog at the scene, which melted instantly.”

Recent reports came out that horses in California are suffering from some “mystery” illness, to which the symptoms include the skin “falling off” the horses and together with the other symptoms mentioned caused me to ask in my previous article whether it could be the radiation from Fukushima that was attacking these California horses, but now looking at what this poison has done to the dog shown above…. is it possible that some of these “trained” poisoners have made it across the US borders and are infecting animals and perhaps the residents of California?

New unexplained holes have appeared in Siberia following the mystery over a giant crater on the Yamal Peninsula.

A second is in the same permafrost region of northern Russia, and a third on the Taymyr Peninsula, to the east, in Kransoyark region. Both were spotted by reindeer herders who almost fell in.

The original hole received worldwide attention after being identified by helicopter pilots some 20 miles (32km) from a huge gas extraction plant at Bovanenkov.

The new Yamal crater (pictured) is in the area's Taz district near the village of Antipayuta and has a diameter of about 49ft (15 metres). According to local residents, the hole formed on 27 September 2013


Now the new holes - smaller in diameter but similar in shape - are posing a fresh challenge for Russian scientists.

'Theories range from meteorites, stray missiles, a man-made prank, and aliens, to an explosive cocktail of methane or shale gas suddenly exploding,' reported The Siberian Times.

'The version about melting permafrost due to climate change, causing a release of methane gas, which then forces an eruption is the current favourite, though scientists are reluctant to offer a firm conclusion without more study.'

The new Yamal crater is in the area's Taz district near the village of Antipayuta and has a diameter of about 49ft (15 metres).

A deputy of the regional parliament - or duma - Mikhail Lapsui said: 'I flew by helicopter to inspect this funnel' which he said was formed last year though only now have reports of it reached the outside world.

'There is ground outside, as if it was thrown as a result of an underground explosion.

'According to local residents, the hole formed on 27 September 2013.

'Observers give several versions. According to the first, initially at the place was smoking, and then there was a bright flash. In the second version, a celestial body fell there.'

The chief scientist of the Earth Cryosphere Institute, Marina Leibman, told URA.RU website in Sibera: 'I have heard about the second funnel on Yamal, in Taz district, and saw the pictures.

'Undoubtedly, we need to study all such formations. It is necessary to be able to predict their occurrence.

'Each new funnel provides additional information for scientists.'

Scientists in Krasnoyarsk region - the second largest in Russia - plan further study of this hole.

The discovery eliminates the possibility that a meteorite had struck the region in the Yamal Peninsula - the name of which translates as 'the end of the world'

The first hole is around 230ft (70 metres) deep and when a group of experts visited it earlier this month, they noted an icy at its bottom.

Their footage highlights a darkening around the rim which was earlier seen as evidence of heat possibly from an explosion during the crater's creation.

'They found the crater - around up to 300ft (70 metres) deep - has an icy lake at its bottom, and water is cascading down its eroding permafrost walls,' said The Siberian Times.

‘It is not as wide as aerial estimates which earlier suggested between 164ft and 328ft (50 and 100 metres).’

Andrey Plekhanov, senior researcher at the Russian Scientific Centre of Arctic Research, revealed that satellite mapping imagery is being used to establish when the phenomenon was formed, thought to be in the last year or two.

'The crater has more of an oval than a circular shape, it makes it harder to calculate the exact diameter,' he said.

'As of now our estimates is about 98ft (30 metres). If we try to measure diameter together with soil emission, the so-called parapet, then the diameter is up to 197ft (60 metres).

The structure is so fragile that the scientists could not climb deep into the lake and had to send a camera down instead.

One theory is that the feature is a ‘pingo,’ reports the Sunday Morning Herald.

A pingo is a large chunk of ice that is located underground that can create a hole in the ground when it melts.

‘Certainly from the images I’ve seen it looks like a periglacial feature, perhaps a collapsed pingo,’ Dr Chris Fogwill of the University of New South Wales said.

‘This is obviously a very extreme version of that, and if there’s been any interaction with the gas in the area, that is a question that could only be answered by going there.’

Dr Plekhanov added the hole was most likely the result of a 'build-up of excessive pressure' underground, due to the region's changing temperatures.

He said 80 per cent of the crater appeared to be made up of ice and that there were no traces of an explosion.

The discovery eliminates the possibility that a meteorite had struck the region.

'Could it be linked to the global warming? Well, we have to continue our
research to answer this question,' said Dr Plekhanov.

'Two previous summers - years 2012 and 2013 were relatively hot for Yamal, perhaps this has somehow influenced the formation of the crater.

'But we have to do our tests and research first and then say it more definitively.'

After the hole was discovered, there was speculation online about the crater indicating 'the arrival of a UFO craft'.

Ruling out extra-terrestrial intervention, Dr Plekhanov said: 'We can say for sure that under the influence of internal processes there was an ejection in the permafrost.

'I want to stress that was not an explosion, but an ejection, so there was no heat released as it happened.'

The latest expedition organised by the Yamal authorities included experts from Russia's Centre for the Study of the Arctic, and also the Cryosphere Institute of the Academy of Sciences.

They took samples of soil, air and water from the scene and were accompanied by a specialist from Russia's Emergencies Ministry.

Anna Kurchatova from the Sub-Arctic Scientific Research Centre, previously said the crater was formed by a mixture of water, salt and gas igniting an underground explosion, a result of global warming.

Gas accumulated in ice could have mixed with sand beneath the surface, and then mixed with salt.

Global warming may have caused an 'alarming' melt in the under-soil ice, released gas and causing an effect like the popping of a Champagne bottle cork, Ms Kurchatova suggests.

Yamal, a large peninsula jutting into Arctic waters, is Russia's main production area for gas supplied to Europe.

Dr Plekhanov said: 'I've never seen anything like this, even though I have been to Yamal many times.'

The crater is different from others on Yamal. The experts say the phenomenon maybe a restarting of a process not seen for 8,000 years when the lake-pocked Yamal landscape was formed on what was once a sea.

This maybe 'repeating nowadays', he said. 'If this theory is confirmed, we can say that we have witnessed a unique natural process that formed the unusual landscape of Yamal peninsula.'

The Obama administration continues to come under pressure from lawmakers and the survivors and families of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, to release the findings of a secret report that may show that some members of the royal family of Saudi Arabia aided the hijackers 13 years ago.

A congressional investigation into the plot produced a year after the attacks included a 28-page section that the George W. Bush administration classified. That portion, titled “Finding, Discussion and Narrative Regarding Certain Sensitive National Security Matters,” has been rumored to contain information that indicates Saudi intelligence helped the al-Qaeda terrorists. Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were Saudi citizens.

A bipartisan effort on Capitol Hill has urged the White House to release the classified section of the 2002 report. That came in the form of Resolution 428 introduced last year by Representatives Walter Jones (R-North Carolina) and Stephen Lynch (D-Massachusetts), who renewed their call in April with a letter to the president. Unless Obama acts soon, the lawmakers will hold a press conference next month on the September 11 anniversary to draw more attention to the issue.

Jones has seen the part of the report he hopes to have declassified. “I’ll tell you, the 28 pages will be an embarrassment to the previous administration,” Jones told VICE News, although he is barred from offering details. “We live in a world where there are certain leaders in certain countries that some people are concerned of their reaction. I feel differently.”

Former Senator Bob Graham (D-Florida), who co-chaired the joint Senate-House investigation in 2002, told VICE News that, “It’s become more and more inexplicable as to why two administrations have denied the American people information that would help them better understand what happened on 9/11.”

In a court filing produced two years ago for a lawsuit brought by 9/11 victims against the Saudi government, Graham said: “I am convinced that there was a direct line between at least some of the terrorists who carried out the September 11th attacks and the government of Saudi Arabia.”

The Saudi government has strongly denied a connection. Prince Bandar bin Sultan, who was the Saudi ambassador to the United States at the time of the attacks, said in 2003: “There is something wrong with the basic logic of those who spread these spurious charges. Al Qaeda is a cult that is seeking to destroy Saudi Arabia as well as the United States. By what logic would we support a cult that is trying to kill us?”

But Bandar called on President Bush two days after the attacks to ask that many Saudi citizens be airlifted out of the U.S. in the days after 9/11. Bush, whose family has a strong relationship with Bandar, complied with the request even though there was no other air traffic allowed in the country at the time.

Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud has been accused of supporting al-Qaeda in a suit filed by Lloyd’s of London in an effort to recoup some of its losses paid to 9/11 victims. Salman, although reportedly in ill health, is next in line to the Saudi throne.

57-year-old Liu Yanya, was rushed to hospital after her daughter found her sitting under the stairs with a knife in her head.

She had accidentally been impaled by the 11cm instrument after a fall at her home in in Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province.

'I heard a loud 'pang' sound and when I ran out I found my mother sitting under the stairs with a long knife in head,' her daughter Wang Xue said.

'The blade had gone all the way in leaving only the black handle outside.'

Despite having the knife in her head Liu was surprisingly alert when she arrived at hospital.

Chief surgeon Sun Yang, who removed the blade from her skull, added: 'The more amazing thing is when the patient came in, she was still in a clear mind, and could walk and speak.'

Sadly, the woman's daughter Wang and her husband Sun Zhonghua are now being forced to sell their home to pay for Yanya's medical bills.

Talking to a group of journalists onboard the papal plane, Pope Francis indicated that he may have only "two or three years" to live and hinted that he is considering an early retirement.

The 77-year-old pontiff made the statement while talking to the media about his popularity, on a flight back to the Vatican from South Korea. Surprisingly he is said to have been standing the whole time during his journey back to Rome.

"I see it as the generosity of the people of God. I try to think of my sins, my mistakes, not to become proud. Because I know it will last only a short time. Two or three years and then I'll be off to the Father's House," AFP reported.

The Guardian report noted that the Pope made a chopping gesture with his hand and whistled after making the statement, as if to convey that death comes sooner or later to everyone.

The Argentine Pope also noted that he has learned to handle the popularity "more naturally" these days. At first it had "scared me a little" he said.

Though Pope Francis has not given any exact date or time for his death, this would be the first time that a Pope has publically discussed his own death.

The AFP report citing a Vatican source stated that Pope Francis had previously also told those close to him that he thought he only had a few years left.

Pope Francis also suggested that resigning was a possibility "even if it does not appeal to some theologians", he told reporters.

He added that 60 years ago it was practically unheard of Catholic bishops retiring, but nowadays it was common. "Benedict XVI opened a door," he said.

He admitted that he had "some nerve problems", which required treatment. "Now I have to be more prudent, you are right," he told a reporter, who said that Vatican had cancelled several events at the last minute in the past few months.

Poking fun at himself, the Pope said that his custom of not taking vacations outside the Vatican was one of his "neuroses".

"One of these neuroses is that I'm too much of a homebody," he added, recalling that the last vacation he'd taken outside of his native Argentina was "with the Jesuit community in 1975". He said he had slowed down for the summer by reading more, sleeping more, and listening to music.

"Must treat them well, these nerves, give them mate (an Argentine stimulant tea) every day," he joked.

Declassified US documents from the 1970s suggest intelligence officials in the United States believe Israelis stole nuclear bomb-grade uranium from a nuclear facility in Pennsylvania.

Some 200 pounds (almost 91 kilograms) of nuke-grade uranium disappeared from a now-dismantled facility in Apollo, Pennsylvania, in the mid-1960s. The facility was owned by a company called Nuclear Materials & Equipment Corp., or Numec, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The missing uranium was enough for making several bombs as big as the atomic bomb the United States dropped on Hiroshima in August 1945.

According to US government documents, seen by the Wall Street Journal, FBI officials who had begun an investigation in the late 1960s did raise questions about suspected dealings between Numec’s founder and president, Zalman Shapiro, and Israeli intelligence officials.

Meanwhile, as a CIA’s case for the suspected theft was not conclusive, a 1977 memo from a National Security Council staffer in President Jimmy Carter’s administration says, “I do not think that the President has plausible deniability” regarding the question over Israel’s involvement.

In a recent interview, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Carter's national-security adviser, said the evidence suggested that “something did transpire” but the issue was “very explosive [and] controversial” because it involved Israel.

“What are we going to say to the Israelis, 'Give it back?'” Brzezinski said.

The recently released documents were obtained by the Institute for Research: Middle Eastern Policy and, according to some federal officials, underscores the need for Washington to declassify the remaining information about the incident.

“We know the CIA thought the material was stolen. We want to know why they thought that,” said Victor Gilinsky, a former commissioner of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

The US officials’ suspicion over Israeli intelligence officials’ role in the disappearance of the 200 pounds of nuke-grade uranium comes as the Tel Aviv regime, which is widely believed to be the only possessor of nuclear arms in the Middle East and reportedly maintains between 200 and 400 atomic warheads, has never allowed any inspection of its nuclear facilities and continues to defy international calls to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

I was able to watch this through, and it was worth it to see some of the faces of the people in the audience, most notably Angela Merkel, Hillary Clinton (I think), and best of all Senator Joseph Lieberman. Putin told the whole world what has been going on, and I doubt he would have said anything if they didn’t have the situation well under control.

Because the American people are so poorly informed, I can see how as so many might watch this video and not know what to think. They have been taught over and over again to fear the Russians, to fear Putin, to fear just about everything. I can also see, for instance, how a video like this could be edited and become very misleading, and my people would become even more terrified than they already are.

Dr. Imants Barušs at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, has conducted two studies attempting to verify reports that deceased persons have communicated to the living through electronic devices.

In the first study, he was able to reproduce this phenomenon in a weak sense, he said, but not a strong one. This study was published in the Journal of Scientific Exploration in 2001 and detailed in the Epoch Times article “Fascinating Study of Purported ‘Phone Calls From the Dead’ Phenomena: Some Confirmation.” He and his team recorded the static between radio stations under controlled circumstances and while talking to any spirits that may be around; they heard what could be construed as some words or phrases in the recordings. His results hinted that the so-called “electronic voice phenomenon” (EVP) may exist, but the results were not sufficiently anomalous to be considered a replication in a strong sense.

His second study, published in 2007, attempted to address some weaknesses of the first. Instead of using the static between stations, which was more open to interpretation by the listener, he used computer programs that would randomly generate letters and whole words to see if anomalous phrases would appear.

If the researchers saw a pattern or bias that deviated too far from what could be expected to appear by chance, it could indicate that a spirit was influencing the machine to convey a message.

He simultaneously used an EVPmaker, a device that chops sound files and reassembles them randomly. The idea was to see if there was any overlap between the random word generator and the EVPmaker that could make a stronger case for spirits trying to communicate a particular message.

The results were mixed, with at least one significant string of words appearing, but not a wealth of anomalous signals. The most significant result was found in the use of another computer program, one that randomly generated either the word “yes” or the word “no.” The researchers asked 11 verifiable yes-no questions, nine of which were answered correctly by the random generator.

The two questions it answered incorrectly were slightly open to interpretation. It answered incorrectly the question, “Do we live in London?” It said “no,” when the team did live in London, Ontario, Canada. Barušs noted, however, that the question could be misconstrued to refer to the more famous London, England. It was also asked whether one of the research assistants had five “kids.” It answered “yes.” In fact, the assistant had three children and two dogs. Barušs noted that, if a being were influencing the random yes/no generator, it may have considered the dogs somehow among the “kids.”

Either way, the result of 9 correct answers out of 11 questions was considered by Barušs to be a “statistically rare event.” The program had a 4.2 percent chance of obtaining this result.

ITC (instrumental transcommunication) refers to the random yes/no response generator. It may be noted that the provincial election referred to in the questions was expected to be called on the Wednesday mentioned, but it was actually called on the preceding Tuesday, so the ITC was correct in answering “no.”

Much of the recording and the output by the random generators did not otherwise show a strong indication that spirits may have been trying to communicate. Barušs did, however, highlight a few other events of interest.

A woman who is considered to be a medium was used in the experiment. The idea was that she might be able to detect any spirits trying to communicate through the devices, and she might thus give the researchers advice on how to tweak the experiments for success.

During one of the sessions, the researchers posed the question, “What do we need to know that we don’t understand about this?” The medium immediately heard the EVPmaker produce the word “opportunity.” The random word generator had been activated at the exact same time and produced the phrase “on sharp opportunity are was yes name.” Barušs and another research assistant present did not hear the word “opportunity” immediately, but they did hear it upon playing back the tape.

During another session, the researchers posed the question, “What would you have us do to make this work better?” The answer produced by the random phrase generator was “We ITC dimension fortunate when irreparable continue.” Baruss and the team wondered whether the word “continue” indicated that they should continue. They activated the word generator again, producing the phrase, “Feel acquire light figure logical people continue.” The word “continue” was repeated.

The random letter generator did not produce any results Barušs felt worth highlighting.

The medium said she understood it to be an arduous feat for the dead to impact electronic devices and that few would make the attempt. She said she received some messages from deceased researchers, including Barušs’s late colleague who “discoursed about quantum theoretic mind/matter interactions in what appeared to be much the same style as when he had been alive,” Barušs wrote. Barušs and the medium tried meditating before the tests, as suggested by a spirit via the medium.

“As we experimented with such speculative strategies, the medium and I felt that we entered a zone of uncertainty that was contrary to the clarity required of scientific research,” Barušs wrote. “However, we thought that such uncertainty may be necessary, at least for a while, if these phenomena were to be given a chance to develop so as to be able to manifest in a measurable form.”

He continued: “For instance, during the eleventh session, we decided not to test the yes/no generator since that would take us outside the realm of ambiguity. It was not until the 25th and last session that we deliberately evaluated the output from the yes/no generator with a series of questions to which we could know the answers.”

This is why they had not conducted more of the solid yes/no verifiable line of questioning that produced the strongest results.

Barušs also noted that the computer programs may have been insufficiently random in their word generation. This may have inhibited any beings trying to influence the programs. Another possibility that must be considered, he said, is that the minds of the researchers may have influenced the devices. Testing at the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research Lab (PEAR) at Princeton University has shown the mind may physically affect electronic devices.
