As I have previously explained (“Sandy Hook Elementary School: closed in 2008, a stage in 2012″), the school appears to have been non-operational during at least the four years prior to the events of 14 December 2012.
There is lots of confirming evidence, with or without the Wayback Machine’s indirect proof–that if there was no internet activity on specific days, probably there was none during the interval within which they fall–that confirms it had been closed.
In addition to not being compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), video footage shows that it was being used as a storage facility, where even The Newtown Bee reported that it was laden with asbestos and other bio-hazards. No student should have been there.
More proof it had been abandoned
Moreover, no activities of the kinds that are commonplace at elementary schools, such as spelling bees with winners, students of the month, teachers of the year, and so on, were being announced from 2008-2012:

And, in response to the republication of “The Newtown School Board Meeting and the meaning of silence” on James Tracy’s memoryholeblog.com, John Luv offer the following telling observations:
John Luv says:
MAY 12, 2014 AT 8:32 PM
Mr. Fetzer, you need to pour over hard copy newspapers from the Hartford Courant or the Danbury Newspaper, not the Newtown Bee that cover the time frame of 2008 to 2012. I know that you will not find one word of Sandy Hook Elementary School with the exception of the issue of 12-14-12 in any of those papers. You will find plenty of information on the other Newtown Schools concerning Honor Rolls, budgets, meetings, cancellations, etc. This hard copy proves that the name Sandy Hook Elementary School was not in print for that four year period.
I have been looking for old Hartford and Danbury Newspapers from the 1980s and 1990s. Old print hardcopy newspapers can’t be forged like internet articles. There is an article in print out there that details the closing of Sandy Hook Elementary School. Key years in those newspapers to check are 1980 around May or June and also 1995/1996 when Fairfield Hills Hospital in Newtown closed. There would be information out there in hard copy world when this school actually closed. When this article is found, the actual newspaper can be used as evidence and made public for all to see.
Most of us who have researched this event from day one know that the school was clearly closed. Let’s all look for the actual newspaper that mentions this fact. It could have been closed as early as 1980 based on the conditions of the parking lot alone. It could have been closed in conjunction with Fairfield HIlls in the 1990s. Archived articles can be compromised. A Hoarder’s copies of newspapers should still be intact. Government agents are very smart, but they are not perfect.
After all, how much easier to manage the deception if they did not have to deal with the evacuation of some 600 or more additional students and around 75 members of the staff, including the administration, the custodians and the other teachers, who were invisible on 14 December 2012. 600 students would be hard to conceal. Where are they?
No students, teachers or staff / no buses, no EMTs, no ambulances, no Med-Evac chopper
Not only was it unnecessary for there to be a surge of EMTs into the building and no reason to summon Med-Evac helicopters, but there was not even any need for buses, who would simply been a distraction. As we know, none of the above were there because they simply were not needed. It was a mock terror drill.
As Wikipedia reports, “On January 31 , the Newtown school board voted unanimously to ask for police officer presence in all of its elementary schools; previously other schools in the district had such protection, but Sandy Hook had not been one of those”, which would make sense if the school had already been closed.
Who was responsible and why
We know this was a drill and not a bona fide emergency, where Governor Malloy, during a press conference held that day, explained that he and the Lt. Governor had been “spoken to” that something like this might happen. But what could he possibly have meant by that? What kind of “something like this” might happen?
There are only two alternatives. Either (1) he had been told that a shooting would take place in his state that would result in the deaths of many children; or (2) he was told that a drill would be conducted that would be presented as a live event. Since he took no steps to insure that (1) did not occur, the answer has to be (2).
And Governor Malloy received a visit from Attorney General Eric Holder less than a month before this event, where he must have been the person who spoke to him. And if Eric Holder was involved, then his boss, the President of the United States, has to have been involved, too. And we now have more proof that was indeed the case.
One of the world’s most baffling diseases may be spread by the wind. A new study has found that Kawasaki disease, which sickens 12,000 children a year in Japan and occurs in other countries including the United States and South Korea, is at its deadliest when the wind blows from northeastern China. The findings suggest that the illness may be caused by an airborne toxin from that region, but just which one remains unclear.
Kawasaki disease typically strikes children between 6 months and 5 years old. Common symptoms include fever, a blotchy red rash, and redness and sometimes peeling of the hands and feet. It can be treated with antibodies; untreated, it often leads to inflammation of the coronary arteries, sometimes causing aneurysms that can lead to internal bleeding or heart attacks. Some researchers believe Kawasaki to be an infection, but they have never identified the microbe responsible; others suggest it's an immune response to an unidentified toxin.
In previous research, mathematical ecologist Xavier Rodó and colleagues at the Catalan Institute for Climate Sciences in Barcelona, Spain, had suggested that seasons with large numbers of Kawasaki cases in both Japan and the United States coincide with times when the prevailing winds come from Central Asia. In the new work, they investigated that idea further.
The researchers examined health records from 1970 to 2010 in each of Japan's 47 administrative divisions. They looked at the days on which the most cases were identified in Tokyo and other major cities, and used computer models of airflow to find out where the air had come from in the previous few days. Because the incubation period for Kawasaki disease is unknown, the team looked at various lag times.
On the days most children became ill, the air blowing into the cities had spent large amounts of time in the same region in northeastern China, usually about 2 days before reaching Japan and 2.5 days before the children came down with symptoms, the team reports online today in theProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. This suggests, the researchers say, that the disease is borne on the wind and that it has an incubation period of only about a half-day.
They also looked at the possibility that the disease could be an infection spreading between children. However, in all the major cities, most children fell ill on the same days, and the infection peak in all cities died away as soon as the wind changed direction, which would be hard to explain if the children were infecting each other. “It must be in the form of a toxin or some other environmental agent,” Rodó says. His team also found no relationship with days of high levels of pollen or common pollutants such as sulfur and nitrogen oxides.
The region implicated, the Northeast China Plain, is highly agricultural, so the researchers suggest that a toxin produced by a fungus living on the crops is a likely culprit. They conducted several flights from Japan to northeastern China—the opposite direction of the prevailing winds—and filtered the air they collected. They found many species of Candida, a fungus genus responsible for common human infections and also for symptoms similar to Kawasaki disease in some strains of mice. However, the researchers do not claim to have identified the exact cause of Kawasaki disease, and they are hoping to conduct more flights. They also plan to look in more detail at the cause of the disease in the United States.
“I think these authors have presented a dataset that is pretty conclusive that this is most likely a microbial toxin of some type,” says environmental microbiologist Dale Griffin of the U.S. Geological Survey in St. Petersburg, Florida. He notes that the techniques of tracking airflow back to a common origin are well established in environmental sciences.
Anne Rowley, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, says the work is “very interesting” but she remains skeptical about the windborne toxin hypothesis, which, she says, would be unprecedented for a human disease. She notes that a number of diseases, including AIDS and polio, were attributed to unidentified toxins shortly before infectious agents were identified.

CHRISLAM WILL BE THE ONE WORLD RELIGION
For the first time in history, Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran will be heard at the Vatican on Sunday, in a move by Pope Francis to usher in peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Holy See officials on Friday said the evening prayers would be a “pause in politics” and had no political aim other than to rekindle the desire for Israeli-Palestinian peace at the political and popular level.

A vain Malaysian man who ordered a penis enlarger online was stunned when the device was delivered - a magnifying glass!
To add insult to injury the magnifying glass came with an instruction that would at least prevent the man from causing injury to himself.
It read: Do Not Use in Sunlight.
The victim of an elaborate scam, which cost him the equivalent of £100 for a £5 magnifyer has been named only as Ong, the chairman of Malaysia's customer complaints bureau, Mr Seri Michael Chong, told The Star newspaper.
'As you can imagine, he is feeling rather disgruntled,' said Mr Chong.
The deflated and embarrassed customer has not come forward to reveal who he ordered the penis enlarger from.
'The unfortunate gentleman is just one of many who have fallen victims to these kind of misleading scams,' Mr Chong said.
'Men and women are equally vulnerable to these scams. Three people lost a total of more than £15,000 to these scams this year alone.'
Online tricksters, he said, lure their victims by selling their products at a low price and very often the items never get to their customers.
Lawyer Alex Kok said that unsatisfied customers who wished to sue online criminals would find it difficult to do so due to the dubious nature of the business.
'It is especially hard if there is no proof of purchase, such as receipts.
'We wouldn’t know who to sue or where and how to sue them,' he told the paper.
This amazing place was found by one geologist from Irkutsk in summer 1949. It was a huge convex truncated cone with an upper horizontal section.
Inside it had a funnel-shaped recess with a dome-shaped hill right in the middle.
The cone was rather big. Its height was about 10-15 meters from the upper side and 70-80 meters from the bottom side. The average diameter of the cone was about 130-150 meters.
The depth of the inner circular ditch was about 8-10 meters. It was clear the geologist found a unique natural formation which didn’t resemble any others. It was called the Patomsky crater after the river in the watershed of which it was located.
What could scientists suppose? From afar the object resembled a giant slagheap but there were no people so deeply in the taiga who could make it. And there were never labor NKVD camps in the area.
Archaeological artifact? But local Evenks and Yakuts had never been like ancient Egyptians and they had never been able to build something like this.
Scientists were close to thinking about mysterious Hyperboreans who allegedly created an ancient powerful civilization in the ancient times…
The geologist Vadim Kolpakov, who found the crater, was trying to arrange an expedition to the place of the object but it was never financed, because all money was spent for searching of uranium – the country needed a nuclear bomb.
The first expedition took place only last year. One of its members mysteriously died of a heart attack when came close to the crater… Did the Eagle’s Nest choose its victim or what?
When the first color photos of the crater were presented to the public it created a furore in the world of science. There appeared numerous versions: from secret Gulag’s mines to a spontaneous nuclear explosion of uranium ore.
The crater has always been surrounded with dark legends but it was not hard to find another team who would participate in another expedition.
They accumulated half a ton of samples and different equipment but could not carry it on their shoulders so they hired an old Mi-8T helicopter.
Strangely enough – pilots of the helicopter who had always been living in the region were rather surprised – they had always been flying there but never seen the crater…
However in the fair weather the crater is perfectly seen from the height. It really resembles a huge eagle’s nest with an egg inside. The diameter of that egg is almost 40 meters.
Soon scientists refused the version of a uranium explosion – the background radiation was low there and no uranium was found nearby.
Two main versions remained: volcanic and meteoritic ones. But the problem is that no meteoritic material has been found yet on the crater, and the area is considered to be fully non-volcanic – there are no volcanoes around for thousands of kilometers, even old and extinct ones.
The crater seems to be “new”. Its rock has is not even overgrown with moss. Scientists believe the crater could be 100-500 years old.
But there’s another, more logical version. Tunguska meteorite is considered to fall in the Krasnoyarsk region but its crater has never been found.
Maybe it fell in the Irkutsk region and this Eagle’s nest is that very crater?
The distance from the supposed place of its falling to the Patomsky crater is only 700 km. For bolides flying with speed up to 70km/sec it’s only 10-15 seconds of flight. The age coincides too. The incident of the Tunguska happened in 1908.
This “something” has abnormally high content of iron and other ferromagnetic materials. Besides there is much water under the crater.
If the crater was formed by a meteorite, that meteorite was no so simple… Probably it could be a superdense quark meteorite. Or some other superdense object.
Editor’s Note: As it turns out Pope Francis not endorsing a technology which has the potential to be a tool to control mankind and to fulfill scripture’s prophecy of the mark of the beast. Published on “satire” website National Report, appears to be poking fun at the fear that a widespread microchip implantation is “the mark of the beast,” as described in the Bible. But still we know (Mark of the Beast) around us as The Bible says that there will be a mark and no person can buy or sell without that mark:
Revelation 13: 16-18 16
It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.
It’s time to WAKE UP! and realize that as the government takes away our freedoms by monitoring the populace through police power and surveillance, they will be setting the stage for the Anti-Christ to takeover more easily every tribe, people, language and nation.
In a controversial move by the Catholic church, Pope Francis has come out in vocal support of RFID Chiptechnologies and the extraordinary potential they hold for mankind. The outrage stems from a belief held by many Evangelicals, Fundamentalists and Catholics, that RFID implants are the Mark Of The Beast, spoken about in their Holy Book’s chapter regarding the end of the world.
During the Pontiff’s weekly general address, he spoke to the crowd about his view on the RFID technology, and assured his many followers that no spiritual harm can come from receiving an RFID implant.
“We have examined the scriptures thoroughly, and I can conclusively say that there’s nothing to indicate that RFID Chips are Satanic in anyway. If anything, these devices are a blessing from God himself, bestowed upon humanity to solve many of the world’s ills.”
He went onto urge his devotees to be open minded in this era where brilliant new technological advancements are being made everyday. The Bishop of Rome explained to those in attendance his excitement over making RFID implantation a mandatory procedure for all employees and residents of the Vatican.
Last month, NBC predicted that by 2017, every American will own a RFID implant. Not surprising, considering humanities ever increasing reliance on technology. With the advent of products like Google Glass, the merging of Man and Machine inches closer each day. Widespread implantation of the RFID chip would be an enormous and historic leap into that glorious, utopian future.
Late last year the citizens of Hanna, Wyoming helped to beta test RFID implantation. Everyone residing in the small town carries an RFID device between the skin of their thumb and forefinger, using it both as an ID and a method for paying for goods and services. Towns members state that the opinion of the RFID is overwhelmingly positive, and are proud to be the first Americans to have received the implant.
Several aspects of modern society can be improved with the implementation of RFID technology. Crimes such as kidnapping and identity theft would cease to exist. In medical emergencies where the patient is incapacitated, doctors can find life saving information by scanning the individual’s RFID chip, and for those people who love shopping, you’ll never have to carry money that can be stolen, or debt cards that can be lost; Now your entire banking information is literally in the palm of you hand.
With the Pope’s endorsement and blessing, interest in RFID implantation is sure to see a wider acceptance from members of the church. This could, hopefully, be the push that this agenda needs to gain household recognition.
Indian religious leader Shri Ashutosh Maharaj is in a deep meditative state, say his followers. His wife and son say he’s dead and they want to cremate his body.
Maharaj’s body, whether dead or alive, is being kept in a freezer by his followers. Adherents to the Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan faith say meditators have often gone to the Himalayas to enter deep meditation for years. They have placed his body in similar conditions so it will be maintained for him to reawaken.
The group’s website states: “His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj ji has been in deep meditative state (Samadhi) since 29th January 2014.”
Punjab police declared him dead, but retracted the declaration after a court ruled it a spiritual matter. Maharaj’s wife and son are calling for an investigation and have filed a court application. His middle-aged son said his followers want to maintain control of Maharaj’s estate, worth about $160 million, according to the Telegraph.
Maharaj did not have a close relationship with his wife and son, according to India Today. The guru had left his home in 1970.
Three disciples are also vying for succession. Group spokesperson Jaya Bharti told India Today, “Only Maharaj ji will announce his successor after coming out of his samadhi.”
One of Maharaj’s aides, who asked not to be named, told the Telegraph: “Maharaj has been in deep meditation. He has spent many years meditating in sub-zero temperatures in the Himalayas, there is nothing unusual in it. He will return to life as soon as he feels and we will ensure his body is preserved until then.”

Phil Schneider was vocal before his death about what he says he learned about aliens while working under a high-level security clearance for the U.S. government. Epoch Times does not make any claims as to the veracity of his story, but rather presents his extraordinary claims for the reader’s entertainment and contemplation.
Schneider met with ridicule from many, but there are also many who believe him after watching his videos, such as Veterans Today senior editor Gordon Duff who calls him a “UFO whistleblower.” Schneider was found dead in his apartment in 1996. Though it was ruled a suicide, some believe he was murdered.
In 1954, then-President Dwight Eisenhower made a pact with three species of aliens, said Schneider in a lecture at the 1995 Preparedness Expo. In exchange for alien technology, Eisenhower allegedly gave aliens permission to abduct some cattle and a limited number of human beings.
For decades livestock have been found inexplicably mutilated across the United States. More than 10,000 attacks have been recorded throughout the country, according to KLAS-TV Las Vegas. Some say these mutilations are done by cultists. Some say it’s predatory animals, although livestock have been found with their organs removed in a precise manner. Some say it’s aliens.
As for human abductees, Schneider said many of the thousands of people missing worldwide may have been taken by aliens. He said there are nine races of aliens that see a human being as “a bag of food.”
The technology aliens gave to uphold their end of this exchange includes a kind of metal that is nearly indestructible. Schneider showed the audience what he said was a piece of this metal. It is made of niobium, an element we have on the periodic table, and marinite, an alien element you won’t find mentioned in Earth’s textbooks.
He said the government also developed a spy satellite with the help of aliens that could spot a dime on your kitchen floor. It used infrared technology and had a resolution factor of 99.99961.
The aliens violated the pact, said Schneider, by taking more humans than agreed upon. A war with the aliens has been fought ever since. He said the aliens plan to take over Earth by 2029 and he called on the government to tell citizens what it knows.
He said: “We don’t have a whole heap of time left.”
A sheep in Turkey gave birth to a lamb with a human-like face.
A video has been uploaded to YouTube with close-up pictures of the animal which appears to be dead and shows a full set of lips, a small, “button nose” and a pronounced chin, Metro reported.
Veterinary staff in a village near Izmir, Turkey, were shocked when they held the creature's face up to the camera.
The lamb's face could be mistaken for a science fiction movie prop, that's how human-like it is.
According to the Agence France-Presse, Erhan Elibol, a vet, performed a c-section to get the lamb out.
“I’ve seen mutations with cows and sheep before. I’ve seen a one-eyed calf, a two-headed calf, a five-legged calf. But when I saw this youngster I could not believe my eyes. His mother could not deliver him so I had to help the animal,” Elibol said.
It's not exactly clear what caused the improper mutation, but vets said that it most likely occurred due to an abundance of vitamin A in the mother's feed, the AFP reported, citing CNNTurk.com.

You won’t believe what was in the McDonald’s mayo ‘The Texture Was Familiar’ the woman said.
A woman in the state of Michigan was in disgusted when she had lunch last week at a local McDonald’s. The 31 year old, Lisa McDowell was having a bite to eat with her friends when she ordered a McChicken sandwich. She was halfway through with her sandwich when she noticed a clump of mayonnaise on the side of her bun. She licked it off, but when she tasted it she immediately realized things were not right. “I’m not gonna lie,” McDowell said. “On Birthdays and holidays I give my man a little something extra in the bedroom, you know? So when I licked the mayo off of the bun, the texture was familiar.”
The woman then called over the manager who denied the allegations, she then took matters into her own hands and contacted the local health department. They sent the “mayo” off for testing and the results were positive for 2 different types of semen. YES, you heard that right! And to make matters worse, a couple days later, McDowell awoke from her sleep with a red rash in the corner of her mouth. The rash then spread and developed into severe blisters. She then took a trip to her doctor and he verified that she had contracted the herpes virus, which she claims was a result of her tainted McChicken sandwich from McDonald’s.
The manager has fired two employees as a result of her allegations and the test results. The manager of the McDonald’s also said, “We can’t always keep an eye on our employee’s conduct. We can only hope, during the interview process, that we are able to hire employees that meet our companies standards.”
"Muslim Gospel" Revealing the "Christian Truth" Excites the Da Vinci Code Set
In Amsterdam in 1709, philosopher John Toland set his eyes upon a remarkable manuscript—what he described in Nazarenus as "a Mahometan [i.e., Muslim] Gospel, never before publicly made known among Christians."
Associated with the apostle Barnabas, the text essentially retold the life of Jesus in terms familiar from the New Testament, but with some major departures. It contended that Jesusdenied his divine status; that he had predicted the coming of the prophet Muhammad; and that Judas died in his place on the cross. Combing Christian canon lists and literature, Toland found references to an otherwise unknown "gospel under the name of Barnabas," and he concluded that this "Gospel of the Mahometans... very probably is in great part that same book."
For Toland, this was not just another apocryphon. From this "Turkish Gospel being fathr'd upon Barnabas," he claimed to have been led to recover "the original plan of Christianity" as centered on Jewish-Christian beliefs that "Jesus did not take away or cancel the Jewish Law in any sense whatsoever."
This, Toland argued, was the very oldest form of Christianity, only it was lost to history when "converts from the Gentiles... did almost wholly subvert" it. On the basis of the Gospel of Barnabas, Toland characterized the most ancient Christianity as harmonious with Islam as well: its account of Jesus, after all, was perfectly conformable to the traditions of the Mahometans [i.e., Muslims], who maintain that another was crucified in his stead; and that Jesus, slipping thro' the hands of Jews, preach'd afterwards to his disciples, then was taken to heaven.
In this too, Toland buttressed his claims with evidence from ancient Christian literature. It was well known that Church Fathers like Irenaeus had condemned Basilides and others as "heretics" for denying that Jesus died on the cross and for claiming that another had died in his place. Toland’s innovation was in speculating that these alleged "heresies" were actually the true apostolic religion, which had been systematically suppressed—particularly in the wake of the Edict of Milan and the Council of Nicaea. And so it was, in Toland’s estimation, that a Muslim gospel could preserve Christian truths long lost to Christians themselves.
Toland’s claims were controversial by design. He introduced the GBarn in Nazarenus as part of a Deist critique of the established Church of his time. Not surprisingly, his theories did not find scholarly or theological acceptance. It didn’t help in this regard that the evidence for the GBarn was both slim and late.
What Toland saw in Amsterdam was a manuscript from 1600, preserving the text of the gospel in Italian. Later, a Spanish version was also discovered, but this manuscript was even later, dating from the eighteenth century—hardly the ancient artifacts evoked by Toland’s grand narratives of suppression and rediscovery.
Almost 300 years later, however, the GBarn continues to excite curiosity and controversy, recently intensified due to the surfacing of a mysterious manuscript that Turkish police confiscated from smugglers in 2000. The manuscript was the subject of media coverage in 2012, when curiosity about it was sparked by the Vatican's reported interest in examining it. "1500 year-old Syriac Bible found in Ankara, Turkey: Vatican in shock!" proclaimed the National Turk.
Other Turkish newspapers, such as Today’s Zaman, speculated that it "may be a copy of the much-debated GBarn, which Muslims claim is an original gospel that was later suppressed." Iran’s Basij Press went even further, using the discovery of the manuscript as an occasion to explain how the GBarn undermines Christianity.
Such claims soon attracted attention from Western journalists. The Daily Mail addressed the claim that this gospel might "cause Christianity’s collapse," while the Vatican Insider dismissed it as a "hoax," charging that the Gospel of Barnabas was a forgery. The dating of the manuscript was questioned by scholars like T. Michael Law, and Christian blogs offered point-by-point refutations countering the notion that this gospel was more authentic than those in the New Testament.
To be sure, even if this manuscript were modern in date, it would still be significant as a witness to the puzzling GBarn, which is otherwise known from only two surviving manuscripts, both in European languages. The possibility of a third, with text in Syriac (i.e., Christian Aramaic), would be momentous, even if it were to date to the year 1500 rather than to 1,500 years ago. Some reports, however, have suggested that it isn't a copy of the GBarn at all.
Nevertheless, the notion of the manuscript’s connection with the GBarn continues to attract attention. In 2013, conspiracy theories circulated linking the resignation of the Pope to its rediscovery. This year, variousblogs have resurrected the theory that it preserves an ancient version of the GBarn. In the process, they have evoked scenarios of suppression straight out of Toland; one paragraph, repeated in multiplereports for instance, asserts:
It is believed that, during the Council of Nicea, the Catholic Church hand-picked the gospels that form the Bible as we know it today; omitting the Gospel of Barnabas (among many others) in favor of the four canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Many biblical texts have begun to surface over time, including those of the Dead Sea and Gnostic Gospels; but this book especially, seems to worry the Vatican.
Online speculation, in turn, has sparked renewed press interest. Just this month a headline in the Latin Times proclaimed: "1500-Year-Old Bible Discovered In Turkey Indicates Jesus Christ Was Not Crucified."
At least from the evidence now at hand, there's little to support the theory that the GBarn is authentically ancient. The question, rather, is why this possibility continues to arise again and again despite the paucity of evidence. Why is the idea of this gospel—and speculation about its possible suppression—so compelling to modern readers? How has on-line speculation about a Syriac manuscript of an obscure apocryphon risen to the status of e-Rumor, spreading widely through social media and persisting for years?
The Crucifixion of Judas Iscariot
The controversial version of the crucifixion in chapters 215-219 of the Gospel of Barnabas follows the same structure as the four gospels known from the New Testament, though at each stage it introduces a twist. In the Barnabas, for instance, Judas’ betrayal of Jesus to the Romans prompts God to save Jesus by removing him to heaven and to condemn Judas by changing his face so that it was the betrayer who suffered arrest and indignity:
Judas entered impetuously before all into the chamber whence Jesus had been taken up. And the disciples were sleeping. Whereupon the wonderful God acted wonderfully, insomuch that Judas was so changed in speech and in face to be like Jesus that we believed him to be Jesus. And he, having awakened us, was seeking where the Master was. Whereupon we marvelled, and answered: 'Thou, Lord, art our master; hast thou now forgotten us?' And he, smiling, said: 'Now are ye foolish, that know not me to be Judas Iscariot!' And as he was saying this the soldiery entered, and laid their hands upon Judas, because he was in every way like to Jesus... The soldiers took Judas and bound him, not without derision. For he truthfully denied that he was Jesus… Then the soldiers lost their patience, and with blows and kicks they began to flout Judas, and they led him with fury into Jerusalem...
The drama of misrecognition in the GBarn continues in its account of his trial, culminating with an account of the crucifixion in which Judas ironically deems God’s judgment unjust:
Whereupon they condemned two robbers with him to the death of the cross. So they led him to Mount Calvary, where they used to hang malefactors, and there they crucified him naked, for the greater ignominy. Judas truly did nothing else but cry out: 'God, why hast thou forsaken me, seeing the malefactor hath escaped and I die unjustly?'
By this account, God saved the righteous Jesus and punished the wicked Judas. It is those who do not trust in God to intervene, in fact, who are said in the GBarn to hide Jesus’ body and claim his resurrection. This causes God to intervene yet again, returning Jesus to earth so that his mother and true disciples can know the truth:
...Those disciples who did not fear God went by night [and] stole the body of Judas and hid it, spreading a report that Jesus was risen again; whence great confusion arose.... Wherefore Jesus prayed God that he would give him power to see his mother and his disciples. Then the merciful God commanded his four favorite angels, who are Gabriel, Michael, Rafael, and Uriel, to bear Jesus into his mother's house, and there keep watch over him for three days continually, suffering him only to be seen by them that believed in his doctrine.
The Gospel of Barnabas’ Jesus, thus, is not the slain and raised Son of God, sacrificed by his divine Father for the sins of humankind, but rather a righteous prophet protected by God when the wicked sought to harm him. The concern here is quite distinct from the docetism condemned by Church Fathers as "heresy."
Basilides,Marcion, and others evoked a wholly divine Christ with no touch of the corruption, pain, or suffering of flesh—and, hence, denied either his death on the cross or the presence of his divine spirit in the body that died. The elevation of a divine Christ beyond bodily flesh is also what’s at stake in texts from Nag Hammadi, like the Apocalypse of Peter and the Second Treatise of the Great Seth, which describe Christ as watching (and even laughing) when a substitute is crucified in his place.
By contrast, the GBarn posits a wholly human Jesus, who explicitly denied his own divinity but who was lifted up into heaven during the events of the Passion; the GBarn’s Jesus is saved from suffering as a man, not exempt from suffering as a deity. It is God, not Christ, who is elevated. Upon closer examination, the parallels cited by Toland thus reveal telling points of difference. The alternate account of the crucifixion in the GBarn falls much closer to the characterization of Jesus in the Qur’an and tafsir than to the "heretical" Christologies of ancient times.
Origins and Reception of the Gospel of Barnabas
Then where—and more importantly why—did the Gospel of Barnabas take form? Among Western scholars, the editors of the French translation are alone in maintaining some connection with the ancient "Jewish-Christian" traditions cited by Toland. Even they, however, agree that its current form does not date to the lifetime of the apostle Barnabas in the first century or to any time prior to the Council of Nicaea in the fourth century. Parallels with Dante and other anachronisms preclude a date prior to the 14th century.
Prominent theories about its origins and authorship differ, but they cluster in the late medieval or early modern periods—with options ranging from 14th-century Italy to 16th-century Spain. Dutch scholar Jan Slomp and others, for instance, speculate about its forgery by the Franciscan monk Fra Marino, who is credited, in a preface to the Spanish manuscript, with its discovery; the preface claims that this monk found the manuscript in the library of Pope Sixtus V (1521–1590) when the Pope was sleeping, and converted to Islam immediately after reading it; the possibility that Fra Marino had been a converso (i.e., a Jew forced to convert to Christianity) makes this theory all the more intriguing.
Others, such as Gerald Wiegers, situate the gospel among morisos (i.e., Muslims forced to convert to Christianity) and Christian converts to Islam "who came in contact with each other before and after the expulsion of the converts from Spain," noting that "in common with several other texts written in these circles, it presents Muhammad as the messiah." Most recently, Theodore Pulcini has made a case for its authorship by a medieval monk of the Carmelite order who had converted to Islam.
Whatever its origins, the recent growth of interest in the GBarn reflects its revival in the 19th and 20th century in the context of Muslim–Christian polemics, especially in South Asia. It was mentioned already in Rahmatullâh al-Kairânawî’s 19th-century polemics against Christianity, and it also made an appearance in Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s 1899 Jesus in India.

As Oddbjørn Leirvik has shown, it rose to even greater prominence after the 1907 publication of the English translation by Longsdale and Laura Ragg. Within a year, it was translated from English into Arabic (1908), and within a decade, from Arabic into Urdu (1916). These translations gave the GBarn wide circulation.
Not all Muslim scholars accept its authenticity, although the theory of its authenticity and suppression became a popular trope. Toland himself is often cited in support of its authenticity, as in Muhammad Ata ur-Rahim’s 1977 Jesus, Prophet of Islam. During the 19th and 20th centuries, the GBarn was largely forgotten in Europe and North America, but it was widely read and discussed in South Asia and the Middle East.
This has now changed, however, due to the widespread dissemination of the text on the Internet. Today, the GBarn has a prominent place within Christian/Islamicdebates online and is known to many Christians as well as Muslims. Recent speculation about the Syriac manuscript in Turkey, moreover, dovetails with the growing place of this gospel in the realm of Internet conspiracy theories about Vatican secrecy.
Theories about its suppression may have been developed many centuries ago, but they speak no less to our own age—a time in which online discussion delights in the notion of long-lost gospels, inspired by Dan Brown at least as much as by the rediscovery of the Nag Hammadi codices. Even if the Gospel of Barnabas tells us little about ancient times, it can tell us quite a lot about the allure of claims about secret histories—both in Toland’s age and our own.
Something strange is happening on one of Indiana’s sand dunes. Holes, about a foot wide and as much as 11 feet deep, are opening up in the sand on Mount Baldy at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, and then vanishing within a day.
The holes made themselves known in the worst way: One swallowed a six-year-old boy last summer, burying him under 11 feet of sediment for hours. He survived, but the incident prompted the National Park Service to close Mount Baldy to the public indefinitely. Almost a year later, at least two other holes have opened and closed, and 66 anomalies have been detected in the sand.
Video shows researchers using long sticks to poke at “soft spots”—depressions in the sand where holes could open up. Grains of sand disappear into the 126-foot tall dune as if being sucked into the bottom half of an hourglass. It’s enough to make one shiver, conjuring up terrifying thoughts of being buried alive. Scarier still: Researchers don’t know for sure what’s causing the holes.
“We’re seeing what appears to be a new geological phenomenon,” says geologist Erin Argyilan, who has been studying the holes for several months.
But there is a working theory. The dune currently sits on top of what was once a forest, and the thought is that trees buried beneath the sand for the last century are rotting and disintegrating, leaving holes where the trunks once were. “The age of the materials and the wet conditions during the spring of 2013 may have forced these materials to become unstable, collapsing and creating openings to the surface,” says the park’s website.
Mount Baldy is one of Indiana’s fastest-moving dunes. The wind causes it to move between 11 and 20 feet to the south each year, park ranger Bruce Rowe tells mental_floss. “We have seen evidence of trees that have been uncovered before as the dune moved on,” Rowe says. “But in the past they were always partially decayed stumps of trees. They were called ghost forests. They fell apart as they were exposed to the air. But the idea of holes rather than stumps is completely new to science.”
It’s also baffling because, until now, dunes were considered solid structures. “We contacted various coastal dune specialists, and one of them said, ‘If I hadn’t heard this had actually happened from you, I’d say it was impossible,’” Rowe says.
So what’s to be done? This summer, a team of researchers will use ground-penetrating radar to map the dune’s thickness and identify potential openings at its base, and take core samples to identify materials within the dune. Dr. G. William Monaghan, a geologist and geoarchaeologist with the Indiana University Glenn A. Black Laboratory of Archaeology, says they also hope to use an unmanned aerial vehicle (a.k.a. a drone) equipped with lasers that can accurately map the area’s topography and identify changes. “…Or we’ll see if there’s a void down there,” Monaghan adds. “In a way we’re not sure what we’re gonna see until we’re out there seeing it.”
Until researchers get to the bottom of the mystery, Mount Baldy will remain closed. “This has become a really fascinating science mystery that’s playing out in our park,” Rowe says.
Since 2009, NOW THE END BEGINS has brought you story after story in detailed accounts of exactly how Obama feels about Islam, and how he views Christianity and the Bible. 20 Quotes By Barack Obama About Christianity and the Bible
#1“Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation”
#2“We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.”
#3“Which passages of scripture should guide our public policy? Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests slavery is OK and that eating shellfish is an abomination? Or we could go with Deuteronomy, which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith?”
#4“Even those who claim the Bible’s inerrancy make distinctions between Scriptural edicts, sensing that some passages – the Ten Commandments, say, or a belief in Christ’s divinity – are central to Christian faith, while others are more culturally specific and may be modified to accommodate modern life.”
#5“The American people intuitively understand this, which is why the majority of Catholics practice birth control and some of those opposed to gay marriage nevertheless are opposed to a Constitutional amendment to ban it. Religious leadership need not accept such wisdom in counseling their flocks, but they should recognize this wisdom in their politics.”
#6 From Obama’s book, The Audacity of Hope: “I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex—nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount.”
#7 Obama’s response when asked what his definition of sin is: “Being out of alignment with my values.”
#8“If all it took was someone proclaiming I believe Jesus Christ and that he died for my sins, and that was all there was to it, people wouldn’t have to keep coming to church, would they.”
#9“This is something that I’m sure I’d have serious debates with my fellow Christians about. I think that the difficult thing about any religion, including Christianity, is that at some level there is a call to evangelize and prostelytize. There’s the belief, certainly in some quarters, that people haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they’re going to hell.”
#10“I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell. I can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity. That’s just not part of my religious makeup.”
#11“I don’t presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die. But I feel very strongly that whether the reward is in the here and now or in the hereafter, the aligning myself to my faith and my values is a good thing.”
#12“I’ve said this before, and I know this raises questions in the minds of some evangelicals. I do not believe that my mother, who never formally embraced Christianity as far as I know … I do not believe she went to hell.”
#13“Those opposed to abortion cannot simply invoke God’s will–they have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths.”
#14 On his support for civil unions for gay couples: “If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount.”
#15“You got into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
#16“In our household, the Bible, the Koran and the Bhagavad Gita sat on the shelf alongside books of Greek and Norse and African mythology”

(Applause.)”
#20“I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people.”
A truly apocalyptic report issued hours ago by the Ministry of Defense (MoD) today says that President Putin has ordered over 80,000 troops to “deploy immediately” to their forward operating “stations” on the Ukrainian border and the“immediate” cut-off of all natural gas supplies to Ukraineafter he received confirmation that President Obama has placed US atomic weapons and their “delivery systems” in Europe.
According to this report, Russian military intelligence officials received confirmation yesterday from their counterparts at the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Czech Republic (UZSI) that the two B-2 Stealth Bombers (Call signed Death11 and Death12) ordered to the UK by Obama last week, along with the three B-52 Stratofortress bombers currently deployed at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, have all been equipped with subsonic AGM-86 air-launched cruise missiles (ALCM) equipped with W80 nuclear warheads.
Further to be noted, this report says, is that the Slovakian Intelligence and Security Agency (SOVA) further confirmed to their MoD counterparts that an exercise of this formidable nuclear first-strike force in attacking Russia was “directly responsible” for the disappearance of civilian aircraft from air-traffic control radars in Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia last week endangering the lives of thousands.
Important to note, this report says, are that NATO troops and bases not welcome in the Slovakia and Czech Republics as the Obama regime and its allies continue to push for total war with Russia.
As evidence of the fact of the West preparing for total war against Russia, this report continues, NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said in an interview published yesterday that it is preparing measures to help Ukraine defend itself in its stand-off with Russia, and must adapt to the fact that Moscow now views it as an adversary. And Germany’s highly influential Heinrich Böll Foundation further stated “This is a war, and Russia is involved”.
Another provocative war action by Obama regime forces against Russia, this report says, was this past weekshighly destructive attack on the Russian Embassy in Kiev which the Ukrainian police not only failed to stop in clear violation of the 1961 Vienna Conventions on Consular Relations, and shockingly had as one of its participants (an incident that may be a first in world diplomatic history) Kiev’s top diplomat, Foreign Minister Andrey Deshchitsa, chanted “Putin’s a f**ker” to the cheering mob.
To the most shameful outcome of the vicious attack on Russia’s Embassy in Kiev, this report notes, was not only the Obama regime refusing to condemn it, but it’s forcing of its Western allies to block a UN Security Council resolution condemning it too.
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also warned the international community that they should pay special attention to the task of curbing radicals in Ukraine by stating, “In the wake of the latest events including the disgusting attack on the Russian embassy, a special attention of the international community and of those who have direct influence on the Kiev authorities is needed for curbing radicals, extremists and neo-Nazis”.
To the atrocities and war crimes that the Obama regime backed Ukraine government has committed against its own peoples that have caused over 122,000 of its own citizens to flee to Russia for protection, this report says, it should be noted they will not escape punishment. And as exampled by Investigative Committee head Sergei Bastrykin who this past week warned that those who are guilty of committing military crimes in eastern Ukraine will be punished, “even if they hide at the bottom of the ocean”.
As even Pope Francis this week warned that the global economy is near collapse, and as the American elites responsible for it are on trial in the court of public opinion, and the verdict is just about to come in (as evidenced by the stunning election defeat of one of their top war leaders, Eric Cantor, last week), this report grimly states, the Obama regimes “main propaganda mouthpiece”, the New York Times, published an editorial last week stunningly saying that “Lack Of Major Wars May Be Hurting Economic Growth”.
And as the Obama regime and is bankster allies continues their push for a nuclear war against Russia, this report concludes, it should not be forgotten that what the US is doing now it has done many, many times before, including in 1917, when after almost two years of heavy anti-German propaganda in the US press that built an overwhelming public support for our joining that war against Germany, Congress found that, in March 1915, “J.P. Morgan interests had bought 25 of America’s leading newspapers, and inserted their own editors, in order to control the media” so that American would join the war on England’s side.
Whereas back then, it was Germany’s leader who was being goaded into providing a pretext for us to declare war against his country, the OpEd News Service says, this time it’s Russia’s leader (Putin) who is being demonized and goaded into providing such a pretext, though Putin (unlike Germany’s Kaiser) has thus far refrained from providing the pretext that Obama constantly warns us that he will (a Russian invasion of Ukraine).
Consequently, Obama’s people are stepping up the pressure upon Putin by bombing the areas of neighboring Ukraine where Russian speakers live, who have family across the border inside Russia itself. Just a few more weeks of this, and Putin’s public support inside Russia could palpably erode if Putin simply lets the slaughter proceed without his sending troops in to defend them and to fight back against Kiev’s (Washington’s surrogate’s) bombing-campaign. This would provide the pretext that Obama has been warning about.
All that remains unknown now, and before the nuclear bombs start falling, is if the American people will awaken and stop the madness of their crazed war leaders before it’s too late for everyone.
In 1967 British astronomer Jocelyn Bell Burnell was left stunned by mysterious pulsing signals she detected coming from outside the solar system.
For months she suggested the signals could be of an extraterrestrial intelligent origin, but they were later proven to be rapidly spinning stars known as pulsars.
However, a new series of mysterious signals, known as Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs), has again got astronomers scratching their heads and wondering if, maybe, we’re picking up alien messages.
In 2007 a radio burst was picked up by astronomer Duncan Lorimer and his team. The origin of the signal could be colliding neutron stars or possibly an alien message. This image shows the dispersed signal from the original millisecond radio burst that suggests it must have originated billions of light-years away
FRBs are radio emissions that appear temporarily and randomly, making them not only hard to find, but also hard to study.
The mystery stems from the fact it is not known what could produce such a short and sharp burst, writes Katherine Mack of The Planetary Society.
This has led some to speculate they could be anything from stars colliding to artificially created messages.
The first FRB was spotted, or rather ‘heard’ by radio telescopes, back in 2007 - but it was so temporary and seemingly random that it took years for astronomers to even agree it wasn’t a glitch in one of the telescope's instruments.
The signal, which lasted just five milliseconds, was named the Lorimer burst after its discoverer, Duncan Lorimer.
The radio emission was so dispersed, experts suggested it must have come from a great distance away, possibly billions of light-years.
But early estimates said there should be 10,000 of these events a day – so the fact that another wasn’t discovered until 2012 was troubling.
This was when data from the Parkes Radio Telescope in Australia suggested it had heard another FRB, along with a handful of others, but the fact that only Parkes had detected the signals had some claiming these were merely instrument glitches.
A recent discovery, in April of this year, of an FRB using the giant radio dish in Puerto Rico confirmed to astronomers that these signals are indeed real – but they’re no closer to finding out an answer as to what they are.
Theories so far include flaring stars, white dwarfs merging, neutron stars colliding and – most intriguingly – alien signals.
Aside from the extraterrestrial origin explanation, another is that it could be caused by the collision of two neutron stars (artist's illustration shown). When neutron stars collide a black hole is normally formed, in addition to a magnetic field trillions of times stronger than that of Earth, in just two milliseconds
‘This extraordinary finding either indicates an as yet unknown or unusual astronomical phenomenon, or it could indicate that this is a vast alien communication network, and the universe is teeming with intelligent life forms,’ says Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual.
‘Every unusual signal from outer space encourages us to wonder if it is from an alien civilisation.
‘Since this signal seems so elusive and hard to interpret then this should be a candidate for further analysis.
‘It would be fantastic if this was an alien signal as the knowledge that we are not alone in this vast universe would have a dramatic impact on our perception of our place in the scheme of things.'
For now, however, FRBs remain very much a mystery.
It will take further studies and observations in future to truly determine where they come from, and what is causing them. Until then, it’s difficult to rule any particular theory out of the window.
Evidence of a civilization ruled by emissaries from another world are revealed in the ancient tablets of man.
Historian and Archeologist Zecharia Sitien uncovers the lost and hidden archives of the Annunaki: Extra-planetary visitors who over 6,000 years ago inspired what is thought to be the earliest civilization known to man; Sumeria.
From the sacred stone tablets of this culture, many of the teachings of the earliest inventors, philosophers and biblical scholars once thought mythical, are now known to be true.
Where did these Anunaki come from?
Sitien says and NASA scientists concur, that there may be a mysterious 10th member to our solar system: The planet the Sumerians called, Nibiru.
If you still believe that soft drinks are maybe not the healthiest choice, but still safe enough, this is the video for you.
At 25 minutes in to the boiling process, this gets absolutely disgusting. (skip to 1:40 in the video to see the coagulated mess). What you are actually looking at is Coca Cola when all of the water has evaporated from the soft drink and you are left with only the additives and chemicals.
How is this sludge still being peddled as food?
This is what happens when you boil the most popular beverage in the world:
A Norwegian artist cooked and ate his own hip and claimed it tasted of "wild sheep".
Alexander Selvik Wengshoel said he served the hip bone with potato gratin and a glass of wine.
He decided to eat a part of his own body on "a whim".
The hip bone, removed by doctors, has gone on display as part of an exhibition.
The operation to remove the bone was filmed and forms part of the exhibition also.
Wengshoel, 25, a conceptual artist made the revelation at the opening of his graduation show from the Tromso Academy of Art.
He told The Local, "I just wanted to use it in my art. I didn't know at that time that I would boil it and eat it.
"I had to boil off the meat to get to the bone and when I started scraping off the meat, I took a little piece and though 'why not do it?' It's not every day I will have a piece of human flesh which is mine and which it is possible to eat. So I had a little taste and then I thought that's really nice."
He made himself dinner while his girlfriend was at work.
Wengshoel was born with a deformed hip, reports The Local and he spent years in a wheelchair or on crutches.
Aged 21, he was approved for a metal hip replacement. He spent a year trying to convince doctors to allow him to film the operation and after a year, they relented.
He said eating the hip bone was a way to help him purge the pain.
"The hip bone had been such a problem for me for over 20 years, and it was just a way of making it better again. It had been so hard to have it in my body, and when I took it out, it turned into something else, something romantic."
