A few days ago, more UFO enthusiasts who hunt for space anomalies have witnessed the moment when an unidentified object slowly approached the International Space Station. The sighting would have easily be debunked as a lens flare but, as usual, NASA decided to cut the live feed, thus raising plenty of question marks.

This isn’t the first incident of its kind, as the ISS had similar encounters in the past, all of them ending abruptly with the “technical difficulties” message. This particular UFO appeared as a dim-grey light and lasted for only a few moments before slowly fading away. A different camera installed on the ISS offers another glimpse of the UFO, this time lasting considerably longer. Its shape cannot be precisely determined, but there’s no denial that the object is found in the vicinity of the station.

After NASA noticed the anomaly, they’ve decided to pop-up the “stand by” screen fearing that the peculiar object will reappear. After this moment, the camera is switched and the line of sight of the UFO is lost. If this was only a common phenomenon occurring in space, why would they cut the live transmission so briskly and only a few moments after the mysterious object made its presence noticed?

Uploaded by Streetcap1 of YouTube on April 1st, 2016, the video soon caught the attention of numerous UFO analysts. Here is what Scott C. Waring from ufosightingsdaily had to say about this event: “I have to say this UFO is more classic than most seen at the station. This one seems to have a humped lower and upper section. This UFO did appear on April 1, 2016, so is NASA playing a joke on the nation? I don’t think they have that in them. That’s the last thing they even want to suggest…that they are faking anything…at least I hope they are thinking that.”

According to him, the UFO meets the common characteristics of a flying saucer. After zooming in, the shape of a disk is revealed along with an upper and lower “hump.” The upper side is more prominent than the lower part, indicating that it could be a dome where the command room is located.

However, not everyone shares the same opinion of the object being an actual alien spacecraft. Some skeptics consider it to be a mere dust particle found on the outer camera lens of the ISS which acts like a reflective material whenever the Sun shines through. Others consider it to be nothing more than space junk floating through space, and there are even people who claim the video has been deliberately altered to make it look like a flying saucer.

While some claims could be correct, the fact that this bizarre event has been witnessed by many others since it appeared on the live cameras, coupled up with the sudden loss of signal immediately after the UFO faded away make this likely to be an authentic phenomenon. I cannot deny that there’s plenty of space junk orbiting Earth that could easily pass as a UFO, but the strange behavior and disk-like shape of the object inclines the balance towards an alien spaceship scenario.

If you are not yet convinced that UFOs are making contact or even docking with the ISS, you should take a look at the video below that’s showing yet another unidentified object that’s chasing after the International Space Station as it travels around the Earth at a dazzling speed of 18,000 MPH.

Could this be yet another coincidence or explained phenomenon, or is it possible that NASA is lying to the general public for some unknown reason? Whatever the case, there is plenty of UFO evidence surprised near the station from where you can draw your own conclusions.

It seems like drugs are getting the best of people these days. In the video below is an excellent example of that.

This bizarre incident happened in Kladno, Czech Republic on Tuesday.

It is the terrifying moment when a naked man, who thought he was a werewolf, terrorized police and the public during a moonlight rampage.

CCTV footage shows the man covered in blood and chasing after terrified passersby while growling like a wild animal.


Dashcam footage from a police car then shows the man leap onto the car, smashing the windscreen and attacking the officers. The officers can be heard shouting in confusion and horror as they desperately tried to subdue the wild man.

Are we close to Doomsday? Will 2016 be the year the world meets its end? According to scientists implicated with the infamous “Doomsday Clock” we are.

The Doomsday Clock characterizes a countdown to a potential global catastrophe. It was started in 1947 by members of the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. The clock is run at the University of Chicago by a group of scientists, 16 of which are Nobel Laureates.

The theory behind the Doomsday Clock is that midnight represents the dawn of a global disaster. The clock is currently set a three minutes to midnight.

The symbolic clock originally represented the threat of global nuclear war, though in 2007 it has also become representative of the threat of climate change and some natural disasters.

The clock has been updated by scientists every year since 1947. When it began during the Cold War, the clock was set at seven minutes to midnight. It has subsequently been put forward or backwards depending on the prospects of nuclear war and the state of the world.

Post Atomic Bombs

Following the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, a group of researchers known as the Chicago Atomic Scientists, began to publish a mimeographed newsletter and a bulletin depicting the clock’s current situation.

In 1984, the Southeast Missourian published a piece on the Doomsday Clock, in which Eugene Rabinowitch, co-founder of the Bulletin, attempted to explain the purpose of the clock.

“The Bulletin’s clock is not a gauge to register the ups and downs of the international power struggle; it is intended to reflect basic changes in the level of continuous danger in which mankind lives in the nuclear age,” said Rabinowitch (1).

In 2007, Michael Bierut, a designer and a member of the Bulletin’s Governing Board, redesigned the Doomsday Clock, in an attempt to make it feel and look more modern. Two years later the Bulletin ceased to be available in print and became a wholly digital publication.

In 2012, the clock was moved closer to midnight, five minutes from the doomsday hour, because of threats of nuclear arsenals and climate change.

Current State of the Clock

With the threat of global warming and climate change now an influencing factor in the fate of the position of the clock, in January 2015 the Doomsday Clock was nudged closer to midnight, set to 23.57, due to concerns about the continuous lack of political action around the world to address the problem of global climate change.

As a CBS News report informs, also influencing the clock’s three minutes from midnight status is the modernization of nuclear weapons in Russia and the United States and the problem of nuclear waste (2).

Kennett Benedict, executive director of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, spoke of the present reasons of the representation of the symbolic clock, stating:

“Today, unchecked climate change and a nuclear arms race resulting from modernisation of huge arsenals pose extraordinary and unbelievable threats to the continued existence of humanity. And world leaders have failed to act with the speed or on the scale required to protect citizens from potential catastrophe. These failures of leadership endanger every person on Earth.”

Thanks to modern science and technology, scientists have been able to account for many of the creatures that exist on the planet.

In some cases though, these creatures cannot be properly examined in order to determine their origin or to create any scientifically recognized data.

That doesn’t stop people from recording imagery or videos of the bizarre things they encounter – even if only for a brief moment.

5 Strange Creatures

Hook Island Monster

It was a seemingly innocent family vacation in 1965 at the Great Barrier Reef when Robert Le Serrec and his wife spotted an unusual sight. The creature looked like a tadpole in the water but was perceived to be a massive 80 feet long.

The creature was not moving and was considered dead so Le Serrec jumped in the water for a closer look. When the Australian monster swam towards him with mouth open wide, the man promptly reentered his boat.

Many consider the image to be a manipulated hoax, but photo manipulation software wasn’t invented for another 25 years. Individuals attempting to make sense of the image have postulated it was simply a school of fish or potentially a piece of plastic in the sand. Others consider the mammoth cryptid to be Bernard Heuvelmans’ Yellow Belly (1).

Similar creatures have been spotted since the 1800s but Heuvelmans believes it’s just a variation of a shark.


Rods or Skyfish

For a century these unidentified creatures have been filmed in still shots and video capture of the skies. No one knows for sure what they are or where they’re from but their visual presence is undeniable.

Referred to as rods or skyfish, these entities in the skies are perceived to be cylindrical in shape and up to six feet long with the possibility of multiple wings the length of the shape (2).

The entity has been filmed on multiple occasions but moves at speeds perceived up to 200mph, making clear imagery unavailable. Some believe the creature to be an unidentified species while others consider the possibility of an extraterrestrial life force or possibly its vehicle.

Some of those who have sighted the rods also consider the option of an object from a fourth dimension. Others weigh the option of a mechanical creation or simply a bird. Whatever it is, solid physical evidence has yet to be captured.

100-Arm Sea Creature

In September 2014, Ong Han Boon was fishing off the island of Sentosa in Singapore when he pulled an unusual creature from the water. He had captured what he believed to be an alien creature with 100 arms.

The bizarre find appeared to be a cross between an octopus and a starfish with numerous winding arms. The 65-year-old man grabbed his camera phone to share his discovery on Facebook. No one he knew nor any of his research could point him in the right direction so he considered it to be a mutation caused by pollutants in the water.

The odd creature was later discovered to be a basket star, a creature in the same family as sea stars and sand dollars (3). The basket star features long, slender appendages with hooks to attach to prey. The brittle creature is known to live at depths of 6,000 feet and typically feeds on zooplankton.

Monkey Pig

This bizarre creature looks like it could be a strange science experiment. Between the cloven feet, hairy body, and bulging odd facial appearance this creature has some believing it came to be after a cross-species tryst between a monkey and a pig.

However, this creature born in a remote Chinese village is nothing more than a deformed pig (4). The unfortunate appearance is believed to be a rare brain development condition called holoprosencephaly (5). The condition causes the eyes to fail to separate during the development stages like the mythical cyclops.

Neon Blue Sea Dragon

It’s no surprise that the bulk of unidentified creatures come from the sea. Scientists believe many of the creatures living in the depths of the sea have yet to be discovered due to the constraints of the pressure so deep below sea level.

A tiny creature that looks more like a creation from the anime series Pokemon, was spotted on the shores of Queensland, Australia.

Commonly known as the Blue Dragon, the creature looks similar to an Axolotl but with bold blue coloring (6). This sweet looking inch-long creature is actually quite deadly. The sea slug floats at the surface of the water and targets blue bottle jellyfish, ingesting their poison to use against their own predators.

While some creatures can be easily explained, others remain a mystery. Regional folklore and unexplained phenomenon continue to intrigue people to find solid evidence of well-known cryptids.

Remember about a month ago when I reported on what appeared to be a mentally ill naked woman who shut down a major Texas highway after climbing on top of an 18-wheeler and refusing to come down as she ranted about government mind control?

Apparently this was not an isolated incident… by far.

Check out the video below. Naked people in fits of blind rage have been arrested around the globe in recent weeks for going completely insane, stripping down to nothing, and attacking anyone and everyone they come across. The assailants are typically described as enraged beyond all logic and reason, and feeling no pain as they run amok to beat up random people they come across, even smashing car windshields with their bare fists without even slowing down.

You could say “Wow, that’s some amazing PCP that guy must be on” or even try to blame it all on bath salts, but the bizarre thing about these cases is that the people involved were not found to be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol when the attacks occurred.

What the hell is going on here? One or two cases maybe, probably happens from time to time… But this is becoming a little too common, with all the occurrences happening in just the past month or so.

Note: The video is entitled “demons” in quotes and while you may not believe in demon possession the way the Catholic church does, after watching it you could see why someone might make that conclusion because these events seem like scenes straight out of a horror film in that genre.

That, or those crazy fast zombies from the movie 28 Days Later.

People are not happy about Peta tweeting that ‘eating chicken can make your kid’s dick small’.

The claim is based on a study which links phthalates – a chemical used in packaging that can migrate into meat and cheese in the US* – to stunted foetal development. So it’s an important thing to raise awareness of.

People become vegetarians for many reasons: concerns about animal welfare, concerns about the environment, and even simply concerns about their health. Well, how about anxieties about your unborn child’s penis?

That’s the message PETA posted to Facebook in a video called “Eating Chicken Can Make Your Kid’s Penis Small.”

According to their video, phthalate – a family of chemicals used in plastics, paints and packaging – leads to male children being born with a smaller penis. The video goes on to say that these phthalates have been found in chicken flesh. In their words: “The more chicken consumed, the smaller the penis.”

The study PETA is referring to is a 2008 report by the National Institute of Health. The report manuscript itself doesn’t make any explicit link between chicken and a child’s penis size, or in fact any reference to chicken at all.

Talking about how people might come into contact with said chemicals, the report says “Phthalates have been measured in residential indoor environments in both house dust and indoor air. They have also been measured in foods, milk and drinking water. However, the relative contribution from the various sources and routes of exposure to phthalates is unknown.”

Out of the 106 boys looked at in the study, all of the 29 deemed to be on the “shorter” end of the spectrum had mothers who were above a “low level” of phthalate exposure. In the “longer” 28 penises, only one of their mothers had a “high level” of phthalate exposure. They summarized: “These findings warrant current concerns that low dose phthalate exposures affect several markers of human male genital development.”

While the findings certainly found some link between a mother’s phthalate exposure and her boy’s penis size, the direct correlation between how much chicken a mother eats and a child’s penis size is a faint one.

Nonetheless, it does seem like the video was intended as a light-hearted jape.

Ben Williamson, senior international media director at PETA, told VICE: “PETA’s humorous new video is simply trying to warn potential new parents about the link between eating chicken and stunted penis growth. Chicken flesh has been shown to cause higher levels of the phthalate Mono(2-ethylhexyl), or MEHP as it’s better known. That’s a fancy name for a chemical that can shrink the penises of unborn children.”

He concluded, “Our new ad is simply trying to help people who are concerned about the development of their unborn child. It’s a humorous video with a serious message.”

Even so, if you are thinking of laying off the deep fried chicken, or even meat in general, then there are plenty of reasons to do so (insecurity of your unborn son’s penis size aside).

Shockwaves are reverberating around the Kremlin today as word spreads regarding an extraordinary meeting called by Vladimir Putin yesterday where, according to sources, the Russian president said that:

 “95% of the world’s ruling class are not even human,” but are “cold-blooded hybrids” who are “members of an ancient cult.”

Did Putin just out the world’s political and financial elite as cold-blooded hybrid human reptilians? Did he really just go there?

Speaking at a behind closed doors forum for the highest echelons of government and staff in his home city of St. Petersburg, Putin responded to questions about the Panama Papers leak by pointing out who was behind the plot: the U.S. government, their spy agencies, and George Soros’s OCCRP.

Putin slammed his fiat on the table and exclaimed, “George Soros, you sly dragon, this is war,” according to sources close to the President. Putin then vowed to ramp up sanctions against Soros’s Open Society even further.

When questioned by a top aide as to what he meant by “dragon” (an unusual word in Russian), Putin sighed heavily and fixed the assembled group with his trademark stare before explaining that all is not what it seems in regards to how the world is run.

Resisting gentle attempts by close aides to stop the President ‘going there,’ Putin said that the evidence was everywhere, and that he personally had intimate knowledge of their dealings. He said that he was not one of them, but they are afraid of him and have attempted to lure him into their “ancient Babylonian cult.”

“The evidence, ancient and modern, is enormous,” he said.

Putin said that mankind has been manipulated to become “unconscious” through the use of programming by media and politics, the perfect example of which was the recent Panama Papers leak. The world’s ruling class have tyrannical control over our food, water, and air supply, and they are actively dumbing down the masses.

A young man from Elizabethtown in Kentucky, claims to have been cured of prostate cancer by a doll representing Jesus Christ, that he kept in his rectum for a total of 40 days.

29-year old Thomas Seymour had tried every possible treatment to cure his devastating disease, but to no avail. His doctor even told him in December 2015, that the chemotherapy had been completely ineffective and that he had less than three months to live.

In a desperate attempt to beat his cancer, the young man turned to God for help… and received it.

As a gesture of devotion, he inserted a small bobblehead doll in the image of Christ in his anal cavity, hoping that the Lord’s healing powers could cure his nearby prostate.

Against all odds, he almost immediately began to feel better, and the symptoms from which he had been suffering for months, gradually disappeared. After 40 days of treatment, he returned to see his doctor, who was astonished to see that all traces of the disease had vanished.

“I couldn’t believe it when he passed his new exams,” says Dr. Francis Baker, who treated Mr Seymour’s cancer. “This man was expected to be dead before the summer, but now he’s completely cured and perfectly healthy. He told me his bobblehead story, and I actually found it pretty funny, but don’t think it had anything to do with it. I would be tempted to say that it might have had some kind of placebo effect, but probably nothing significant. But I have to admit that he really is cured, and I have absolutely no explanation for his healing.”

Dr. Francis Baker called his patient’s healing “miraculous”, saying that he has no medical explanation for the sudden change in his condition. He refuses to credit the Jesus doll, however, and says that such treatments are not recommended and can be very dangerous.

Despite his doctor’s doubts, Thomas Seymour is convinced that is recovery is due to his “miraculous doll”.

“Jesus cured me!” Mr Seymour told reporters. “I kept him inside me for 40 days, right next to my cancer, and I prayed a lot. I knew that Christ would never abandon me, but this even better than I hoped for. I am completely cured! The Lord had saved me!”

Many miraculous healings have been attributed to holy icons or items throughout history, but this is the first one ever attributed to a bobblehead, a type of collectible toy with its head often oversized compared to its body, connected to the body by a spring in such a way that a light tap will cause the head to bobble, hence the name.

Even if Mr Seymour was cured by this unusual treatment, most medical experts agree that cancer patients should not try it without consulting their doctors first.

An image apparently showing a dead Osama bin Laden broadcast on Pakistani television and picked up by British newspaper websites is a fake.

The bloodied image of a man with matted hair and a blank, half-opened eye has been circulating on the internet for the past two years. It was used on the front pages of the Mail, Times, Telegraph, Sun and Mirror websites, though swiftly removed after the fake was exposed on Twitter.

It appears the fake picture was initially published by the Middle East online newspaper themedialine.org on 29 April 2009, with a warning from the editor that it was "unable to ascertain whether the photo is genuine or not".

The Daily Mail was one of the newspaper websites to publish the fake picture of Osama bin Laden's body.

Since then, however, the image has been claimed as genuine on a number of conspiracy forums and used to substantiate claims that the terrorist responsible for the 9/11 bombings had been killed.

The Guardian was one of the few sites to hold back from using the manipulated image on its front page, reporting the picture's existence in its live blog but questioning its legitimacy.

The image is based on a genuine photograph of Bin Laden taken in 1998 and used by the Reuters news agency.

Most people ‘in the know’ realize that NASA is just part of the military industrial complex, but a recent open admission on mainstream news that “there are indications of alien life” is likely the beginning of a bid to get your undivided attention before full-forced disclosure ensues.

Most people already believe what NASA Chief Scientist Ellen Stofan states:

“I think we’re going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth within a decade . . .I think we’re going to have definitive evidence within 20-30 years.”

It isn’t going to take that long if we open our eyes.

Stofan goes on to say:

“We’re on the verge of things that people have wondered about for millennia. Within all of our lifetimes we’re going to understand that there is life on other bodies in the solar system. We’re going to understand the implications of that for life here on Earth.”

What we’re going to understand is that our ‘secret’ government has been hiding this fact for ages. In an effort to transition the US and other countries through its reach to a cabal-run oligarchy, our shadow government has been lying about off-planet corporate slavery rings, alien abductions, benevolent beings who can only do so much until our collective consciousness elevates, and much, much more.

The existence of Planet X Nibiru, that massive planetary body passing through our solar system, has been known about by the powers-that-be for decades. I like to imagine that at some point time travel will be possible.

I'd just love to go back in time and stop Michael Owen becoming a commentator.

One thing's for sure, if I was going to go back in time; to the mid-2000s, the 60s, the 1700s or Before Christ, I'd be going back in my finest Three Stripes.

Which is actually a piece of evidence that people seem to think indicates that time travel is real.

A post on LiveLeak showed ancient human remains that are wrapped in felt, but one of the remains appeared to have a pair of Adidas on its feet.

The mummified remains are thought to be a woman's and are about 1,500 years old.

"The person was not from elite, and we believe it was likely a woman, because there is no bow in the tomb. Now we are carefully unwrapping the body and the specialists could say more precisely about the gender," B.Sukhbaatar, researcher at Khovd Museum said.

Although they're definitely not a pair of tatty Adidas (Tattidas), the comment section of the thread and people of the internet are suggesting time travel is real.

Come on, if you're going to go back in time, at least go back in a pair of Hamburgs.

A CROWN FIT FOR A GIANT? Italian Father Carlo Crespi Croci (1891-1982) tries on a Giant kings crown he found in the cave named "Cueva de los Tayos" Ecuador. He wasn't just a priest but a researcher and explorer also.

A pop star who kept on singing for an astonishing 45 minutes after she was bitten mid-performance by a cobra has collapsed and died onstage.

Irma Bule was known for wearing snakes during her acts, but the king cobra which she danced with on Sunday had not been defanged.

The tragic 29-year-old was performing in a village in Karawang, West Java, in her native Indonesia when the incident happened.

After her first song, she accidentally stood on the cobra, called Rianti.

The reptile then bit her on the leg, injecting venom into her bloodstream, reports Coconuts . A video appears to have captured the moment.

"The accident happened in the middle of the second song when Irma stepped on the snake' s tail," audience member Ferlando Octavion Auzura, told local media.

"The snake then bit Irma on her thigh,''

Although the star kept her show going - reportedly turning down an antidote from the snake handler - after 45 minutes witnesses said she started vomiting.

After a number of seizures, she collapsed.

Irma was then taken to hospital , but passed away soon after.

Bule’s musical genre is known as dangdut and uses props onstage. She has previously reportedly danced with pythons and boa constrictors as part of her act.

King cobras are is the world's longest venomous snake, reaching more than 5m long.

Police said they are investigating the incident and gathering information from audiences.

An expert from Tulala Snake Research Centre, Lydia Apririasari, told Rappler that dancing with snakes is very common in Indonesia, especially in villages.

She explained that the length of time it took for the toxin to kill the singer was related to her bite, which was some distance from the heart.

"The cobra can kill an adult elephant and consume up to 1000 kg in 2 hours, let alone a singer who maybe weighs less than 60 kgs," she added.

In addition to numerous other politicians, Russian Deputy Primer Minister Dmitry Rogozin has openly spoken out about extraterrestrial civilizations, while claiming that Russia does not hide information on UFOs and Alien life. Is society being prepared for disclosure?

According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, the Russian government does not hide any information about contact with unidentified flying objects.

In an interview, Rogozin spoke out about extraterrestrial civilizations and that the search for intelligent life elsewhere in the universe is one of the main objectives of the Russian Space Agency reports RIA Novosti.

‘One of the greatest scientific, and mankind’s dilemmas is whether or not we are alone in the Universe. Whether somewhere out there is another intelligent civilizations. Given the infinity of space and time, anything is possible,” said Rogozin.

The deputy prime minister also added that the Russian government does not hide any information about contact with unidentified flying objects, suggesting that the Russian government has nothing to hide when it comes to Alien contact.

Earlier this year in January, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) published hundreds of declassified documents about UFOs and extraterrestrial life. Most of the files contain images of the 40s and 50s and belong to the digital archive of the agency. While the CIA has not revealed any information about whether or not the agency or the United States Government has established contacts with extraterrestrial beings, the declassified files show the seriousness with which the US government treated these phenomena.

In the last couple fo years, UFO enthusiasts were able to take a peek at countless declassified governmental files about UFOs, and unexplained contact with mysterious flying objects.

Last year, former astronaut Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon claimed that military chiefs saw Extraterrestrial vehicles observe nuclear weapons test in the New Mexico White Sands in 1945.

The former Astronaut argued that extraterrestrial beings intervened in the Second World War preventing a catastrophic nuclear war between the United States and the Soviet Union. “My experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.

“Other officers from bases on the Pacific coast told me their missiles were frequently shot down by alien spacecraft.”

The recent discovery of a 9,000-year-old shamanic sanctuary in Europe proves that an advanced and knowledgeable culture once flourished there. The capabilities of the shamans described in mystic tales might had once been a reality after all.

One of the key figures of the ancient world was the shaman. According to ancient accounts, these magic practitioners helped shape the first human societies.

As wise as they were feared, the shaman mystics were a high-rank figure in the human society, capable of winning battles, de-cursing allies, they could heal physical wounds and the soul, but also communicate with animal spirits and even shapeshift.

While all this knowledge may seem loose out of fantasy books, there’s a great chance that shamans were capable of performing all of the above feats.

Although records of these mystics often comes from the 16th century and mostly referrers to Asia as their last known refuge, it’s likely that they did their bidding all over the world.

At least that’s what this ancient shaman site from Europe indicates.

In 2012, archaeologists uncovered an unusual site near Lake Świdwie, in north-western Poland. After meticulously analyzing the settlement using modern techniques, the team of researchers concluded that it dated back more than 9,000 years.

One of the most notable finds in the area consisted in a circular design of approx. 6 meters in diameter where the foundation of strange structures was still visible.

A trapezoid building with poles, encircled by an arch of rocks aligned at equal distances from each other caught the attention of the Polish archaeologists.

Within this ancient design, sharpen yew sticks were piercing through the ground so that they formed the shape of the Big Dipper – a fragment of the constellation Ursa Major, also known as The Great Bear.

This discovery is unique, as other shaman settlements were only found in Siberia and Mongolia. It apparently served as a sanctuary from where the spirit practitioners engaged into rituals and out-of-body experiences which are now out of reach for modern science or written history.

Other enigmatic pieces of wood used in smoking rituals, bark, herbaceous plants and animal bones presumably used as offerings and for driving off evil spirits before a ritual were also unearthed at the site.

“Sacrificial offerings were an expression of belief in supernatural powers and forces of nature”, said Prof. Tadeusz Galiński from the Szczecin branch of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology PAS.

“They were made on behalf of all residents and members of the group with the participation of the spiritual leader.”A rich collection of different stones with supra-natural properties were found inside the sanctuary.

Among them were syenite, diorite, granite, quartzite, sandstone, gneiss, and even unusual rocks for the Pomerania area such as red marble and green syenite.

However, the discovery of black amber and pumice – an extrusive volcanic rock obtained when molten lava is spit out of a volcano – topped off the charts of the discovery list.

“This extraordinary rich collection of sotnes is unique among the previously known Mesolithic sites, located both within the vast European Plain, and in the zone of the foothills and highlands,” explained Prof. Galiński. 

“These stones had to be brought to the site in Bolków, and not only from the surrounding area, but also from distant lands, the best example of which is hornfels, which occurs closest in the Giant Mountains and the Harz Mountains.”The site furtherly proved to be rich in items mostly made of wood such as pendants and wood masks used in the mystic rituals.

Thanks to the favorable conditions of the area, all the unearthed pieces were preserved in perfect shape.

The discovery adds another dimension to our written history because it proves that shamans once ruled the plains of Europe before Christianity and other religions rushed in and wiped these timeworn culture.

It also demonstrates that ancient Europeans had knowledgeable advisors who could read the stars, use advanced remedies from nature, and who knows what other ancient techniques that are now forever lost.
