Len Kasten is the author of "Secret Journey to Planet Serpo", a tell-all book based on factual events. On the 16th of July, 1965, a massive alien spacecraft from the Zeta Reticuli star system landed at a Nevada test site north of Las Vegas.

Planet Serpo: A True Story Of A Secret Interplanetary Journey Project?

This site is commonly known as "Area 51". However, their visit was not unexpected.

THE TRUE STORY OF AREA 51 AND KENNEDY'S PROJECT FOR EXTRATERRESTRIALS

In 1962 President Kennedy had ordered the creation of a plan called "Project Crystal Knight," which essentially amounts to an exchange program of humans for beings from Serpo. As a part of this plan, the alien visitors, known as the Ebens, had arrived to welcome 12 astronaut-trained military personnel aboard their spacecraft for the nearly year-long journey to their home planet, Serpo, 39 light-years away (240 trillion miles).

The voyage to Serpo required traveling faster than the speed of light and maneuvering through what Americans on board described as "traversable wormholes" by using an antigravity spacecraft. However, there were major risks to this journey. Along the way, a pilot from the team died unexpectedly due to a pulmonary embolism.

Upon arrival at Serpo, the adjustment was difficult, and the crew surely would have died if not for the help of the Ebens. There was the intense heat from the planet's two suns, high radiation levels, 43-hour days on top of figuring out how to fit into the aliens' lifestyle.

After 24-months, the team lost track of time due to the unusual length of days on the alien plant. This ended up adding three more years to their scheduled ten-year trip.

Over the course of the adventure, the Ebens were good hosts to the Serpo team. They exchanged not only valuable information but also friendship and goodwill.

Ultimately, only seven members returned to Earth on August 18, 1978. Three had died of various causes, and two had decided to stay behind on planet Serpo because they saw a brighter future there than on Earth.

This story is no longer only the stuff of legend. In November of 2005, former and current members of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) - a formed by Kennedy to organize the Serpo exchange program - came forward to reveal the operation, including details from the 3,000-page debriefing given by the seven members of the team who returned to Earth.

The remarkable details of "Project Crystal Knight" were fully documented in "The Final Report," and are currently declassified. The team also included numerous photos and over 6,000 cassette tapes of recordings as evidence of their experiences.

To date, it has been revealed there have been subsequent visits by the Ebens from Zeta Reticula I and II star system to Earth. These visits date from as early as 1978 to the last known visit on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at the Johnston Atoll on Akau Island in the South Pacific.

It is astonishing that these events have not been more widely acknowledged or become more well known, but perhaps now the story will finally be revealed to the population at large.
