Stephen Hawking: Nomadic Alien Beings Could Crush Our Civilization

Stephen Hawking has been really worried lately and some might say that some of his recent statements have been slightly dire. He seems to be worried about Alien beings and artificial intelligence and just as he said in a statement last year, we evolve so slowly that it could simply stomp us out, he said last year.

Now, in a new interview with Spain’s newspaper ‘El Pais’, one of the most important scientists on Earth, Stephen Hawking said that he fears that there are Alien beings out there that might destroy us. According to the world-renowned physicists, it might be worse than when Columbus arrived to the Americas.

Stephen Hawking is worried that if Aliens do show up... they wouldn't be peaceful.

“Computers will overtake humans with AI at some point within the next 100 years. When that happens, we need to make sure the computers have goals aligned with ours”

"Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach," Hawking told El Pais. "To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational. The real challenge is to work out what aliens might actually be like."

IS it possible that Professor Hawking knows something that we don’t know? Could this ‘something’ be the reason why he acts a bit paranoid? Or is it something logical to expect, that somewhere out there, there are Blood-thirsty Alien beings who might come knocking on our door and destroy us in the future. Reasonable paranoia? Well… if it wasn’t Stephen Hawking than it wouldn’t be reasonable.

Not only does professor Hawking believe that Nomadic aliens might turn up in our solar system in the near future, he believes that even without Alien beings, we are messing up our planet so bad, if we do not stop, we might have to get out.

"I think the survival of the human race will depend on its ability to find new homes elsewhere in the universe, because there's an increasing risk that a disaster will destroy Earth," he said.

Human beings are facing several threats… Environmental, Nuclear, Extraterrestrial… there are quite a few things that could cause the human race from ceasing to exist. In the end I guess, it’s up to us to change, adapt and survive. According to professor Hawking, prayer ain’t gonna do good here… The world-renowned physicists reiterated that he does not believe in God.

"I use the word 'God' in an impersonal sense, like Einstein did, for the laws of nature," he said.

But it's not necessary in his view to use the word "God" at all ( via ewao.com ).

"The laws of science are sufficient to explain the origin of the universe," he said. "It is not necessary to invoke God."
