Mayweather’s victory cemented his legacy as one of boxing’s best as he extended his unbeaten record to 48-0.
However, before of the fight ring legend Sugar Ray Leonard warned Pacquiao about being too generous with his earnings.
The Filipino’s promoter Bob Arum revealed his man will no doubt give half of it to good causes.
He said: “I’m sure half of what Manny earns in this fight is going to go to charity. That is just Manny.
“We don’t like to talk about money too much as more charities line up.”
Pacquiao is keen to help his struggling compatriots as the Filipino congressman’s influence in the country rises.
The WBO welterweight champion will run for president in the Philippines once his fighting career comes to an end.
Pacquiao is set to undergo surgery on a shoulder problem which hampered his fight against Mayweather.
The Filipino is expected to be out of action for a year.
