Police in New Mexico believe that surveillance video capture footage of a real life ghost at the station.
The footage, which comes from the Espanola Police Station, was captured on Saturday night when Officer Karl Romero saw what he believes to be a ghost moving across the monitor screen. That particular camera was monitoring a fortified sally port at the time, and when Romero claims he witnessed the bright white person walking across the screen, he immediately reported it to his supervisors.
His supervisors did not find anybody or anything in the monitored area, and now, Karl Romero is led to believe that the only logical explanation is proof of a ghost.
“I do believe in ghosts,” said Detective Solomon Romero to KOAT Action News. “I don't know (what it was on the video), but we've had some unsolved murders in the area.”
Police add that there is no way in or out of the sally port without setting off an alarm, so they would have known if somebody made their way inside.
