Good news was he survived the motorbike crash but unfortunately for him it was a pile of poo that broke his fall.
A biker who landed head first in cow pat after crashing in Newbold on Stour, Warwickshire, was undoubtedly pleased despite his rather stinky destination.
The rider, who was uninjured, had lost control after a tractor and trailer overturned spilling tonnes of slurry and manure in front of him at around 8.15pm yesterday.
‘His bike was still upright but he had apparently gone over the handlebars into the slurry,’ said a West Midlands Ambulance spokesman.
Pictures showed the motorbike stuck in the manure following the crash.
Emergency services also helped to free a 30-year-old tractor driver, who was taken to Warwick Hospital where he was treated for neck and back pain.
The male motorcyclist, in his 30s, had to be hosed down by firefighters.
