A former U.S. marine is claiming that the government sent him to Mars as part of an elite military unit of "super-soldiers" that protected the safety of five human colonies against the native inhabitants of Mars.
The Marine, who calls himself "Captain K" and whose identity is unknown, explained that he was recruited for the secret mission after his super-soldier training. According to his story, once he reached the "Lunar Operations Command," he was given a contract that obligated him to a 20-year service tour on Mars. He then flew to Mars on a V-shaped spacecraft that was 150 feet long and 450 feet wide and had the capacity to move 1,000 troops per trip. He was assigned to the "Mars Defense Force," or MDF, and served for over 17 years. He protected the Mars Colony Corporation, which consisted of five human settlements.
He described the environment in the primary settlement, which was located inside a crater, as having breathable air and very warm temperatures, but with a "very cold breeze."
Allegedly, the MDF fought two different alien species indigenous to Mars. One was reptilian and the other was insectoid, but both were observed to be highly intelligent, aggressive, and territorial. They noted, however, that the aliens did not seem to be particularly interested in expanding their territory, only defending their established territory. As a result, the relations between the humans and extraterrestrials were "stable" as long as the humans refrained from encroaching on the aliens' territory.
Then, after 17 years of relative peace, the human combat soldiers were tasked with stealing an artifact from a cave that was sacred to the extraterrestrials. A bloody battle ensued, in which over 1,000 human men and women were supposedly killed. After this devastating battle, Captain K's devision of the MDF was dissolved, and he became a member of the "Earth Defense Force."
