If there’s one lesson we learned today, it’s to not mess with MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski.
Clearly sick of being surrounded by people who have no idea what they’re talking about continuing to speculate about the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, Brzezinski says enough is enough.
“Can we go to news school for a second, please?” Brzezinski says while speaking through her teeth, clearly pained by the talking heads surrounding her.
“Here’s what we’ve got at this point: it’s seventeen minutes past the hour. We shouldn’t be talking about theories. If you want to go to a network that has theories about Pakistan just blared across for hours and hours and hours, you’ve got many choices out there. Okay? But that’s actually capitalizing on a non-story for the sake of ratings because people’s imaginations are piqued by this, and that’s not responsible.
“We did the plane, we will do the plane, it will be done again, and we will do the facts. Just stop, we’ve got to go to Ukraine.”
Bravo, Ms. Brzezinski. It’s about time people who don’t have any idea or facts about what they’re saying to stop talking.
And for those claiming this sort of thing is unprecedented, Helios Airways Flight 522 and the South Dakota Learjet crash would say otherwise.
