Archaeologists in Spain say they have found one of the world's earliest known images of Jesus. It is engraved on a glass plate dating back to the 4th Century AD, reports from Spain say.
The plate is believed to have been used to hold Eucharistic bread as it was consecrated in early Christian rituals. It measures 22cm in diameter and fragments of it were unearthed outside the southern Spanish city of Linares, ABC newspaper reports.
Scientists working for the FORVM MMX project found it inside a building used for religious worship in what remains of the ancient town of Castulo. The find made scientists "review the chronology of early Christianity in Spain", FORVM MMX project director Marcelo Castro told El Mundo newspaper.
The pieces were in an excellent state of preservation - 81% of its original area has now been pieced together by scientists.
In the image, Jesus Christ is flanked by two apostles, believed to be Peter and Paul. "The scene takes place in the celestial orb, framed between two palm trees, which in Christian iconography represent immortality, the afterlife and heaven, among other things," ABC writes.
El Mundo notes that Christ looks very different from later depictions: he has no beard, his hair is not too long and he is wearing a philosopher's toga.

The Philae Probe Lands, Truth Behind The Mission Leaks Out
Many today have been celebrating the landing of the Philae probe on a comet. News agencies across the world have been talking about the future potentials within the new realm of space we are venturing into. The corporate-controlled mainstream media isn’t telling you one very major thing about the dark roots behind the Philae probe and how what we may have witnessed today was yet another Illuminati black magic ritual right before our eyes.
On the surface, and to a large part of the population, the landing was heralded and lauded, with CNN stating in anarticle: Imagination became reality Wednesday when a mechanical space traveler called the Philae probe plunked down on its target, a comet with a much less romantic name — 67P — some 310 million miles from Earth.
European Space Agency scientists and executives high-fived and hugged each other when the landing was confirmed.Spacecraft have crashed into comets before, but this is the first soft, or controlled landing, in history.
Later, ESA said there was a glitch. After leaving the mothership Rosetta and descending, Philae may have bounced, rather than gently settled, on the surface of the comet, ESA scientists said at a news conference. Anchoring harpoons designed to shoot into the comet’s surface failed to function, ESA said, meaning Philae may not be firmly secured to the comet’s surface.
Philae Hiding A Darker Secret
Many across the world do not realize that there is an occult and darker meaning behind the naming of the probe. According to Wikipedia: “Philae /ˈfaɪliː/ (Greek: Φιλαί Philai; Ancient Egyptian: Pilak, P’aaleq; Arabic: فيله [fiːlɐ]) is an island in Lake Nasser, Egypt. It is located within the former First Cataract of the Nile River in southern Egypt, though the rapids have been eliminated since the construction of the Aswan Dam. Philae was the site of an Ancient Egyptian temple complex [sic]“
An ancient Egyptian complex, huh? I wonder who the worshiped in the complex? Well, thankfully, Wikipedia also has that information (remember, people, the dark always put out the information – hidden in plain view. So, who did the Egyptian’s worship on Philae? ISIS. The Goddess Isis, to be specific.
Wikipedia states: “The most conspicuous feature of both islands was their architectural wealth. Monuments of various eras, extending from the Pharaohs to the Caesars, occupy nearly their whole area. The principal structures, however, lay at the south end of the smaller island. The most ancient were the remains of a temple for Isis built in the reign of Nectanebo I during 380-362 BC.”
Here is a virtual “computer generated” walkthrough of the ISIS temple at Philae, posted almost 6 years ago to YouTube. (Keep reading after the short video, because things get a little stranger)
WATCH THE VIDEO:
Wikipedia also has one last important and intriguing piece of information about Philae: Philae, being accounted one of the burying-places of Osiris, was held in high reverence both by the Egyptians to the north and the Nubians (often referred to as Ethiopians in Greek) to the south. It was deemed profane for any but priests to dwell there andwas accordingly sequestered and denominated “the Unapproachable” (Ancient Greek: ἄβατος). It was reported too that neither birds flew over it nor fish approached its shores.
The Occult-Bible-Comet Connection
Whether you are religious or not has no bearing on the fact that there are a group of very dark elite controlling things behind the scenes that fantasize about astrology, dark arts, manipulation on grand scales, and often use Revelations from the bible to further their agenda. According to Bible Hub, Revelations 8:11 states: 10.The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters. 11.The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
There are many interpretations of what “Wormwood” is – be it a person, plant, or star – however, many agree on the scenario that “Wormwood” is in fact a comet or asteroid. Wikipedia states: “Various scientific scenarios have been theorized on the effects of an asteroid or comet’s collision with Earth.
An applicable scenario theorizes a chemical change in the atmosphere due to “heat shock” during entry and/or impact of a large asteroid or comet, reacting oxygen and nitrogen in the atmosphere to produce nitric-acid rain. Acid rain from the heat shock of a large comet or asteroid’s impact with Earth is believed by some to fit the Biblical description of the bitterness produced by the Wormwood Star upon a third of the Earth’s potable water.
The Comet Landing
When you peek behind the carefully (or perhaps not so) placed facade of today’s historic landing, a stranger story seems to be unraveling. The name “Philae” was chosen for a reason, representing not only a connection to ISIS and Osiris, but more importantly “It was reported too that neither birds flew over it nor fish approached its shores.” – Which ties in very nicely with the Wormwood (COMET) revelation where they say: “a third of the waters becamewormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter”
Is the elite trying to harness some power through this comet that the probe named Philae christened by landing and therefore taking “ownership” of it? Or was it a message to the masses that something dark this way blows? Whatever it is, there is much more to this story, and we might want to start digging deeper and looking behind the “historical outer space” achievement and look at the far more darker side: what was the historical Illuminati ritual performed right in front of our eyes today with Philae?

The universe is full of mysteries that challenge our current knowledge. In "Beyond Science" Epoch Times collects stories about these strange phenomena to stimulate the imagination and open up previously undreamed of possibilities. Are they true? You decide.
Dr. Bernard Beitman is a founding father of Coincidence Studies. Working from the University of Virginia, he is creating definitions and methodologies for studying coincidences, and generally making this fascinating phenomenon “look more like a science,” he said.
He’s heard many, many coincidence stories and shared many of them with Epoch Times throughout the course of his research. Here a few outstanding examples.
A Fateful Look in the Trash
Journalist Stephen Diamond arrived in San Francisco with only $10 to his name. He couldn’t afford a notepad to write on, yet inspiration surged through him. He was tempted to steal one, but thought better of it. Then he saw just what he needed—“a pad of paper, face-down on top of a pile of rubbish, clothes, shoes, old books.”
The header on this notepad read, “Stephen Diamond, M.D.” What were the chances of Diamond finding a notepad with his name on it in pristine condition in the trash just when he needed it most?
He wrote the cult classic “What the Trees Said.”
Dr. Michael Shermer is the founding publisher of Skeptic magazine, the executive director of the Skeptics Society, and a monthly columnist for Scientific American.
He wrote in his column on Sept. 16 about an experience that led him to conclude: “We should not shut the doors of perception when they may be opened to us to marvel in the mysterious.”
His fiancé’s belongings were shipped to the United States from Germany, and among them was her grandfather’s 1978 transistor radio. She was very close with her grandfather, who died when she was 16.
The radio had been silent for decades, and try as he might Shermer could not get it working again. It continued its silence in the back of a desk drawer in the couple’s bedroom.
Three months later (June this year), they were married. After the ceremony, his wife asked to talk with him alone. She was feeling lonely, missing her family back in Germany and also wishing her grandfather could have been alive to give her away. The couple walked to the back of the house where they heard music playing, a love song.
They searched in vain for the source of the music, then his wife “shot me a look I haven’t seen since the supernatural thriller ‘The Exorcist’ startled audiences. ‘That can’t be what I think it is, can it?’ she said.”
It was the transistor radio in the drawer.
“My grandfather is here with us,” she said, tearfully. “I’m not alone.”
Shermer’s daughter had heard music coming from the radio just before the ceremony started, though the couple had been in the room only moments before without hearing any music. The radio continued to work through the wedding night.
“Fittingly, it stopped working the next day and has remained silent ever since,” Shermer wrote.
3. Penicillin Discovered Under Just the RightConditions
Penicillin, an antibiotic that made a huge breakthrough in fighting bacterial infections, was discovered over the course of many years, with many accidental or coincidental circumstances helping it along.
Scottish bacteriologist Alexander Fleming had a cold in November 1921. A drop from his runny nose landed in a culture dish full of bacteria. He realized the drop killed the bacteria, leaving a “halo of inhibition” around it. Lysozyme was the component in his mucous that had killed the bacteria, but lysozyme couldn’t be mass-produced as an antibiotic.
Almost a decade later, he was at St. Mary’s Hospital doing research. The lab conditions were poor—cracks in the ceiling and draughts did not make for a perfectly controlled environment.
He had gone on vacation and left petri dishes in the sink. Rather than just washing them out as many scientists would do, he examined them first and found a spot of dead bacteria similar to that left by his mucous. This halo of inhibition appeared around some fungus that had landed on the dishes—spores had traveled through the cracks from an experiment on a lower floor.
The spores had arrived at precisely the right moment and during a period when the temperature was just right. If the bacteria in the dish had been at a different phase in its development, the fungus would not have had the impact it did.
Fleming realized this mold could kill bacteria, but it wasn’t until another group of scientists performing different experiments in the 1940s used the mold (the penicillin) in mice that they realized the mold could survive in a mammal’s body and that it had the potential to treat bacterial infections in humans. They hadn’t meant to investigate this use, it was an accidental discovery.
To summarize, Fleming was looking for this halo of inhibition in bacteria cultures after his runny nose incident, and this perceptiveness helped the later coincidences yield useful results. This relates to one of the reasons Dr. Beitman wants to foster coincidence studies—awareness and perceptiveness can help people notice useful coincidences more, he said.
If the lab had been in better shape, the spores would never have traveled to Fleming’s sink. If Fleming hadn’t been so economical, deciding to study the mold in the sink before washing it away, he wouldn’t have noticed the halo of inhibition. If the mold hadn’t landed at exactly the right time, Fleming wouldn’t have made the discovery (or at least not at that time, perhaps it could have happened some other way at a later date).
Many coincidences plus a little perceptiveness resulted in a discovery that has saved millions of lives.
If you’ve seen the Hollywood horror films, The Conjuring or Annabelle, then you’re probably aware of Ed and Lorraine Warren. But I’m willing to bet that some, if not most, are generally unfamiliar with their work and past. I’ve been fortunate enough to have met Lorraine Warren a few times (I actually went with her and some neighbors to see The Conjuring when it was released) because my boyfriend’s friend (we’ll call him Jake, for the sake of privacy) lives next door to Lorraine.
Yes, he lives next door to the Museum of the Occult.
WATCH THE VIDEO:
(The above video shows a tour of the Museum. The quality is bad, but they tell an interesting story about the Annabelle doll.)
Their website is extremely outdated and hard to read with the black background and flashy graphics, so I’ll copy their bio for you here:
For over fifty years now, Ed and Lorraine Warren have been considered America’s preeminent experts on the subject of spirits and demonology. Even more important perhaps, is the fact that they have also been the very same people for the past fifty years whom religious authorities have repeatedly called in to control some of the most profane outbreaks of diabolical phenomena in the country. Cases where priests become possessed. Cases where people are physically attacked. Cases where unworldly entities manifest and then preside. Cases where time is violated and the physical environment is completely rearranged. Cases where spirits don’t just haunt a house, they visibly tear it apart.
Ed and Lorraine Warren have dedicated their lives to this work, and they share the wisdom they have gained during their extraordinary career in this field. The work they perform is remarkable. And you can be certain, after all this time, they know things that are completely astounding. The cases they divulge will shock you; yet it is the significance of what they say that will actually floor you. Moreover, the Warrens don’t mince words. They know what they’re talking about. They have seen it. They have done it. The Warrens reveal both the methods and the motives behind spirit activity; indeed they reveal what really breaks the peace in haunted houses, and precisely what it means to you. Both now and forever.
Ed Warren is a demonologist. Lorraine Warren is a trance medium. But you’d never know it if you met them on the street. They are not occultists. They are not strange. They are essentially ordinary people who happen to do highly extraordinary work. And though the Warrens have no ax to grind, their orientation is distinctly religious. For in reality, that is the only way it is possible to function in this work. Because that which they confront are not vaporous, indistinct phantoms that simply come and go in the night. The forces they confront are religious entities that – by their own admission – exist for the sheer purpose of opposing the works of God.
Ed passed away a few years ago and now Lorraine lives in the house with a Catholic priest and her pet rooster, Einstein. I personally have not toured the museum, and probably never will. I’m not necessarily the strongest believer, but I’d rather not interfere with things that I don’t understand. I can tell you, however, that the Annabelle depicted in The Conjuring and Annabelle looks nothing like the real Annabelle doll (shocking, huh?).
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Lorraine a few times, though I don’t know her as well as my boyfriend and Jake. During the summer, when we would hang out on Jake’s back deck, Lorraine would stop by to say hi and always offer us pizza or brownies.
It’s true that Lorraine is nothing like you’d expect. She’s somewhat grandmotherly with badass style (she’s always wearing earrings that I’m envious of). I remember one encounter that truly proved her charm.
Jake and my boyfriend were skating in the street and I was sitting on the front stoop, drinking tea. Lorraine saw us and made her way over to say hi and offer us some food. We talked for awhile and she told was about the work she was doing for Yale.
At some point, Lorraine took notice of my boyfriend’s Ol’ Dirty Bastard shirt. She looked at it thoughtfully. “Old Dirty Bastard,” she said. Her eyes glazed over with distant rememberings. She smiled at us, and quipped, “I knew one of those once.”
She winked and we all laughed. We explained who Ol’ Dirty Bastard was and why my boyfriend was wearing the shirt. She then offered to buy us a pizza. We declined as we always do. Why? I’ll never know. Maybe we thought it was polite, but looking back, I think she wanted some company. I also regret not getting to pick her brain, not necessarily about the occult, but about life. Maybe the next time I’m out there.
The last time I saw Lorraine, she was surrounded by loving friends, family, and neighbors. We all went to see The Conjuring together. It was fun and Lorraine herself has a cameo in the film. A true superstar, that woman.
American Restaurant Granted Permission To Sell Dog Meat.
A Filipino restaurant has been granted permission to consume and sell dog meat. A Filipino group successfully argued that the banning of the consumption of dog meat violated their religious right.
Pugan de Manila Eatery and Fine Dining has been granted provisional permission to sell and consume dog meat, while the Supreme Court decides if their case has merit.
The restaurant is allowed to slaughter up to 3 dogs per day with the stipulation that they must be put down humanely. The World Animal Protection Agency called the decision “shocking,” and vowed to fight tooth and nail to ensure this act is not allowed to continue.
This type of meal is consumed daily in the Philippines. There is an abundance of dog meat sold in restaurants and markets for a very reasonable price. The trading and selling of dog meat brings in nearly US$3.8 million per year, and over 500,000 dogs are killed for meat every year.
Pugan de Manila Eatery and Fine Dining says the dishes will range from American styled cuisine such as Chihuahua Chops to Korean inspired dishes such as Boshintang (Dog Soup).
Do you think this type of cuisine should be allowed in restaurants located in America? Would you eat it?

A Romanian hacker who accessed the private email accounts of numerous top government & militaryofficials has predicted that a nuclear attack will hit Chicago in 2015. Guccifer, notorious for hacking the email accounts of the Bush family and the Rockefellers, is currently serving a seven-year prison sentence. He eluded the FBI and Secret Service for years, but they were finally able to catch up with him.
“I was expecting them, but the shock was still very big for me,” he said in his first interview since being hauled away. “It is hard to be a hacker, but even harder to erase your tracks. I knew they were coming for me,” he recalled. “My sixth sense told me I was surrounded. I was losing control of the situation.”
Incredibly, Guccifer, who’s real name is Marcel-Lehel Lazar, was able to access private self-portraits painted by George W. Bush and sensitive military information with only nominal computer skills. The 43-year-old former taxi driver had no special training or equipment. He hacked personal email accounts by simply guessing passwords.
WATCH THE VIDEO:
“He was not really a hacker but just a smart guy who was very patient and persistent,” said Viorel Badea, the Romanian prosecutor who put Lazar away. “He is just a poor Romanian guy who wanted to be famous,” explained the prosecutor, who leads a cybercrime team in Romania’s organized crime unit. Do you believe that Lazar’s accusations of an imminent nuclear attack on Chicago hold any weight? Tell us in the comments section.
A 91-year-old Polish woman was declared dead and spent hours in a morgue before waking up, to the astonishment of hospital staff and relatives. Her demise and resurrection had apparently created an appetite, as she ate soup and pancakes.
Janina Kolkiewicz was declared dead by local medics in a small town of Ostrow Lubelski in eastern Poland, reported TVP public broadcaster. She had no pulse, was not breathing and her eyes didn’t react to light.
But 11 hours later she woke up inside a body bag in the cold chamber of the local morgue. The dramatic event happened on November 6, but the information emerged in the local press only on Thursday.
"I was sure she was dead," Kolkiewicz’s doctor, Wieslawa Czyz, who has 28 years of medical practice, told TVP. "I'm stunned, I don't understand what happened. Her heart had stopped beating, she was no longer breathing."
Kolkiewicz has no children and was never married. Her niece has been taking care of the old woman in her dotage.
“My aunt has no inkling of what happened since she has late-stage dementia,” shocked niece Bogumila Kolkiewicz told Dziennik Wschodni, a local newspaper.
Bogumila added that when she delivered the woman home, Janina “was freezing and asked for a hot cup of tea.”
Then she ate a bowl of soup and two pancakes, showing a good appetite, added her niece.
Police authorities have started an investigation into the ‘resurrection’ case.
In another November miracle resurrection, Zachariah Kasagga, a fisherman in Uganda, also rose from the dead after being buried. However he died hours later in hospital.
Also in Africa, Brighton Dama Zanthe, 34, ‘died’ after a long illness at home in Zimbabwe in May 2013. However when the mourners paid tribute to him lying in the coffin, they noticed his legs were moving. The ‘deceased’ man turned out to be very much alive and was immediately taken to hospital.

The health minister of Lebanon, warned the public that several popular restaurants are failing to keep the food safe for human consumption.
"The food items are not only immersed in sweat, but also in diseases and microbes," Health Minister Wael Abu Faour said on Wednesday.
Faour revealed that many supermarkets, bakeries, butcher shops and restaurants are violating food safety standards, according to the results of an inspection campaign conducted in the last 20 days.
Some notable food establishments mentioned during the press conference were Roadster Diner, Bedo, Makaneq, and Al-Hallab.
The two places with the worst records were Tanmiya and An-Natour. An-Natour was previously shut down for importing and distributing of expired and diseased meat.
Other violations include stacking meat in rusty containers, having a toilet in the kitchen, putting food next to the trash, using rusty, old and dirty knives, not wearing gloves while working with food and using the same cooking oil for months.
The minister also revealed that the remains of human excrement were found in some cases.
Probe landing attracts allegations that 67P is not a comet but alien object kept secret by Nasa and European Space Agency.
On Wednesday afternoon, the European Space Agency made history when their Rosetta Mission successful landed its Philae probe on a speeding comet, but the space agency lost contact with Philae after it missed its first landing and then bounced twice.
According to CNN and Washington Post: With no downward thruster and with the automated harpoon system having not worked -- the intrepid Philae lander touched down a total of three times on the comet before coming to a final resting place in a shadowy spot. As a result, its solar panels aren’t being exposed to nearly enough light and Philae's planned mission is expected to end when the primary batteries run out sometime on Saturday. Despite the lander shutting down, all might not be lost forever according the space agency.
According to TheGuardian: An email published on the website UFOSightingsDaily this mission is part of a European Space Agency and Nasa cover-up to disguise the comet’s true alien nature.
The email, allegedly from a secret whistle-blowing employee of the ESA, accuses the agency of “blatant cover-ups” in wanting to land on the speeding comet and attaches photos which claim to reveal the “true inner workings of Comet 67P”.
Excerpt from the email:
1. Why would a space agency suddenly decide to spend billions of dollars to build and send a spacecraft on a 12-year journey to simply take some close-up images of a randomly picked out comet floating in space.
2. 20 Years ago NASA began detecting radio bursts from an unknown origin out in space.
3. It does show signs on it’s outside of machine like parts and unnatural terrain.
In September, BPEarthWatch published a video showing images taken from the Rosetta spacecraft, they appeared to show two UFOs flying over the comet and a transmission tower-like structure built on the surface, potentially emitting the mysterious radio signals which have been picked by the ESA.
ESA’s confirmation that the comet had been emitting a “mystery song” has fuelled theories that it is in fact an alien ship and the warbling is an extra-terrestrial attempt at communication. See video 'mystery song.'
Before the Philae lander touched down on the comet it sent back a number of black-and-white images.
Now take a close look at these images and I refer to the email from the whistleblower: “It does show signs on its outside of machine like parts and unnatural terrain.
The combination photo of different images taken with the CIVA camera system released by the European Space Agency ESA on Thursday Nov. 13, 2014 shows Rosetta’s lander Philae on the surface of Comet 67P.
Discovered by Ken Pfeiffer from Worldufophotosandnews, this image shows an odd rod, bar or cable that comes out of the comet and just think, what natural phenomenon could create such a regular structure out in space.
ESA described the strange phenomenon in the image as follows: “One of the lander’s three feet can be seen in the foreground.”
This original image shows, besides the strange rod,bar or cable a remarkable unnatural terrain and parts of what looks like:
1. Landings platform
2. Object/UFO on platform
3. Artificially made rock structure (Snake/Dragon figure)
4. Tube or a corridor leading to the interior of the comet

Man Calls 911 After He Becomes ‘Stuck In The Act’ With His Dog. A Tampa, Florida man horrified neighbors as he was screaming for help in a not so private area of his front yard. 57-year-old Bernard Marsonic was engaging in a despicable act with his dog Pounder in the front yard of his home in a quiet neighborhood. It was shortly after the “act” began that Pounder became stuck on the inside of his owner. Unable to separate himself from his dog, Marsonic yelled for help. One of the neighbors was quoted by saying, “He really sounded like he was in a lot of pain.” Many of the shock and dismayed neighbors were yelling for him to stop, but he just replied, “I can’t we are stuck.” Luckily for Marsonic his cell phone was near by and he was able to call 911.
According to a local veterinarian, “Dogs often get “stuck” during the act of mating. It is due to the male dogs Bulbus Glandis. The swelling of the dogs member is located towards the rear end of its shaft. As soon as the male dog inserts himself and begins to thrust, the Bulbus Glandis enlarges to a firm spherical shape, resulting in the so-called “coital tie”. This prevents the male dog and his partner from separating immediately after he is finished with his business, and it may last from 5 – 60 minutes.”
Marsonic was stuck to Pounder for approximately 35 minutes before paramedics could separate the two, according to police. Marsonic said, “This is the first time I have ever been on the receiving end with Pounder, I had no idea this would happen. Usually he does what I tell him, he is very submissive. So I couldn’t understand why he wouldn’t listen when I told him to get off of me.” Marsonic, a convicted felon, found himself in even more trouble when the police searched his home and found a gun and ammunition inside. A total of eight dogs were removed from his home and taken to animal control. According to Marsonic’s confession he alternated dogs every night.

THE DRAWINGS SEEM TO MIX BIBLICAL AND EXTRATERRESTRIAL VISIONS
Whatever your conclusion – someone who was working too hard, a drug-induced vision, or a true extra-terrestrial experience…it sure is a puzzle. Unfortunately, we cannot ask the artist and know for sure. All we know is that this person experienced something very odd. Perhaps he knows something that we don’t.
Russia’s military says it plans to expand regular patrol missions by its long-range bombers to the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.
“We have to maintain military presence in the western Atlantic and eastern Pacific, as well as the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico,” Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said in a Wednesday statement.
The flights would bring the Russian bombers close to the United States’ northern territorial waters.
Shoigu stressed that the long-range Russian bombers will continue flights “along Russian borders and over the Arctic Ocean.”
“In many respects, this is connected with the situation in Ukraine, with fomentation of anti-Russian moods on the part of NATO and reinforcement of foreign military presence next to our border,” Shoigu said.
He added that Russia needs to beef up its military forces in Crimea due to the tensions with the West over Ukraine.
“Under these conditions, the formation of a full-fledged and self-sufficient inter-branch grouping of forces on the Crimean peninsula is a priority task,” the Russian defense minister said.
Tensions between Russia and the West have intensified over the past few months as a result of the ongoing crisis in eastern Ukraine.
The United States and its European allies have accused Russia of violating Ukraine’s sovereignty by stirring up pro-Russia protests in eastern Ukraine, which followed a March 16 referendum in Crimea where the majority of voters said yes to joining the Russian Federation. Russia has denied the allegation, saying the protests began spontaneously.
A recent NATO report said that Russia has increased its military flights over the Black, Baltic and North seas as well as the Atlantic Ocean.
According to reports, tens of thousands of sacrifices routinely occur worldwide on the dates on the calendar below. It is estimated that in 2015, over 1 million missing persons will be registered with law enforcement agencies. Already, 813,412 were registered in 2014.

Modern witchcraft has drawn much of its ideology from ancient religions and esoteric schools. It can be argued that the roots of this revived faith go back as far as the Stone Age, when humans began to conceive their world as a spiritual construct.
1.Shamanism appeared some time during the upper Paleolithic (50,000 – 10,000 years ago). The shaman would often enter trance states to follow the migration of herds (ensuring a successful hunt), heal people from illness, and protect their tribe from evil spirits. Many cave paintings depict shaman dancing in animal costumes, as though taking on the spirit of a particular animal.
2. As the nomadic tribes began to settle, new civilisations emerged, the earliest known being Sumeria (3500 BCE). From the translation of cuneiform tablets we know that the Sumerians believed in a wide range of celestial beings such as gods and spirits, many of which were hostile, so each person was guarded by spirit to protect them from demons. Their magic system was known as invocation, which allowed them to summon, bind and vanquish dark spirits using amulets, incantations and exorcism.
3.In ancient Egypt (2500 BCE), priests became skilled in Heka (the ‘activation of Ka’ or spirit energy). The Ka was the aspect of the soul which embodied personality, and the priests believed they could manipulate this spiritual fabric to influence the gods, gain protection, heal the ill and transform themselves into immortals. During the Third Intermediate Period of Egypt (1069–653 BC), the art of Heka was adopted by midwives and nurses, allowing women to explore the secrets of Ka for the first time.
4. The Mystery cults emerged in ancient Greece (1500 – 1100 BCE) and were eventually passed onto the Romans. These secret schools required an initiation process to gain entrance. Worshippers believed that the gods of Greece (such as Demeter, Dionysus and Orpheus) had passed on their magical secrets to humans during the Bronze Age. This included the art of shamanic travel, invoking the gods, reincarnation, and even the ingredients for making ambrosia (an immortalising food).
5.The Celts (decedents of the Indo Europeans), formed a priest class known as Druids by around 350 BCE. These nature worshippers acted as teachers, judges, astrologers, healers, and bards. They were pantheists, meaning they revered many aspects of a single deity (in the forms of nature gods, trees and standing stones). All of their rituals were based around reincarnation, creating potions and crafting spells, which would eventually form the backbone of medieval witchcraft.
6. Another branch of Indo-European magic can be found in the Anglo-Saxon culture (400 CE – 1100 CE). Their magic was based on Norse Mythology, where legend says the god Odin had passed the secrets of the runes to humanity. These sacred symbols are used for healing, creating charms, crafting magical artefacts and hexing people. Due to the Christianisation of their religion in the 6th – 8th century, the Anglo-Saxons came to fear the practitioners of rune magic, believing them to be guided by evil.
7.Gnosticism was a mystic religion that originated in the Middle East around 100 CE. Gnostics believed the material world was inherently evil and that realm of spirit was fundamentally good. They claimed the creator god of the Old Testament was corrupt and had created a flawed world. Instead they directed Christians toward an inner experience of the true god via spiritual transcendence. Their ideology outraged other Christian and Jewish faiths that saw this as an affront to their religion.
8.Gnosticism later influenced the mystic tradition of the Kabbalah. This Jewish sect believed that God’s divine knowledge had been shared by the angels to humans 5000 years ago. His spiritual principles were then passed down the generations via oral tradition until emerging as a sacred text known as Sefer Zohar (“Book of Radiance”), written by Moses de Leon, 1290 CE. Practitioners guide their followers via meditation toward a direct contact with the divine. Like Gnosticism, the Kabbalah speaks of divine beings, a tree of life and multiple cosmic realms.
9.Throughout the early middle ages, the Catholic Church tolerated pagan faiths. However, after the devastation of the ‘Black Death’ (bubonic plague 1347-1349), a paranoia swept through the minds of Christians, believing it was the heathens and heretics who had tainted humanity with their dark sorcery. What followed was 300 years of persecution toward anyone practicing magic and mysticism.
1401: Witch Trials began in England, proclaiming that anyone who practiced witchcraft was to be burnt at the stake.
1487: The notorious ‘Malleus Maleficarum’ (‘Hammer against the Witches’) was published by Kramer & Sprenger, inciting Christians to hunt down and kill witches.
1515: Authorities in Geneva, Switzerland burn 500 accused witches at the stake
1526: Como, Italy, a spiral of witchcraft charges lead to around 1000 executions.
1644: In England, Matthew Hopkins (self proclaimed “Witch-finder General”) began an intense witch-hunting campaign, torturing and killing around 300 women.
1692: The Salem witch trials arrest 150 people, convicting twenty-nine of the felony of witchcraft. Nineteen of the accused were hanged.
Between 1400 and 1700, an estimated 50,000 suspected witches were executed (around 75% of them women), in countries such as France, Britain, Germany and America.
After what became known as “The Burning Times”, the practice of witchcraft survived in pockets, particularly in the countryside, cut off from interaction with witches from other areas, or through secret societies.
10. The occult, (knowledge of the paranormal) was studied and practiced throughout the witch trials, often within secret societies sworn to silence.Intellectuals drawn to forbidden lore and mysticism began to study ancient texts related to invocation, ancient mythology, Egyptian mysticism, Gnosticism and the Kabbalah. Throughout this era, societies such as the Freemasons and Rosicrucian’s began to develop new schools of thought in astrology, alchemy, tarot, mediumship and sacred geometry.
11. In 1887, the works of the occult reached their pinnacle in an English society called ‘The Golden Dawn’. The Hermetic Order was an organisation devoted to occult practices, metaphysics, and paranormal activity. Many present-day concepts of ritual magic have been inspired by the Golden Dawn, which became one of the largest single influences on 20th-century Western occultism.
12. Wicca is a modern pagan, witchcraft religion. It was developed in England during the first half of the 20th century by Gerald Gardner. It draws upon the mystic traditions of the golden Dawn as well as ancient pagan practices. Wiccans typically believe in reincarnation, the use of magic to influence specific outcomes, a moral responsibility toward others and an appreciation for natural cycles (they have eight festivals known as Sabbats that revolve around the changing seasons). Wiccans often worship a variety of nature deities, the most important being the mother goddess and the horned god. These two deities are sometimes viewed as facets of a single godhead.

Parents at an elite, magnet elementary school in Chicago were “horrified” when they saw the “obscene” sexual education materials their fifth graders would be learning. The curriculum included condom demonstrations and discussions of anal sex.
Andrew Jackson Language Academy (AJLA) hosted several parent workshops during report card pickup on Wednesday, including a meeting on Chicago Public Schools’ (CPS) sex ed curriculum. Parents were given a binder that included the materials and topics that would be discussed, including the benefits of female condoms for extending sex and increasing pleasure, the use of lubrication and how to insert condoms into the anus for anal sex.
Parents were notified of Wednesday's presentation in a letter from school principal Mathew Ditto. The letter said a CPS representative would be at the meeting where "we will share the lessons and information that will be taught to your child." CPS has said some of the lessons are even intended for children in kindergarten, DNAinfo reported.
The letter said the topics included personal safety, human reproduction and childbirth, puberty, abstinence and healthy relationships. Fourth-graders and above would also learn information about HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections. Students in fifth grade and above would also learn about contraception and pregnancy prevention, and lessons would include a condom demonstration, the letter stated.

The chairwoman of the Local School Council, Angela Bryant, has two children who attend AJLA, which has 565 students. She called the way the information was to be presented to students "appalling,"“obscene” and not age-appropriate.
"The curriculum is appalling," Bryant told DNAinfo. "The language to me was the most offensive part initially. Pop and lube, lube lube, and those kind of things. ... [It] serves to rob many of our children of their innocence."
"The language for me is very much concerning to me as a parent. The content goes beyond what I feel is age-appropriate for a fifth-grader," she added. Fifth graders are usually between 10 and 12 years old.
Another Chicago elementary school, Waters Elementary, posted the materials and slides that were included in the AJLA binder online. The presentation links to demonstration videos from Planned Parenthood, the Female Health Company and Teaching Sexual Health. The latter provides guidance on age appropriateness: “These videos should only be used for grades 8-12.” It also includes material called The 411 on Female Condoms that was developed by the Chicago Female Condom Campaign.
Bryant told DNAinfo she is in favor of health education that explains sex in an informative way, but said that the CPS handouts were composed "in a manner that actually is piquing curiosity about sexual pleasure."
In a statement Friday afternoon, CPS officials said that the objectionable material presented at AJLA was a mistake.
“The objectionable material presented at Andrew Jackson Language Academy this week is not and never was part of the student sexual education curriculum,” CPS spokesman Bill McCaffrey said in a statement. “It was mistakenly downloaded and included in the parent presentation, and we agree with parents it is not appropriate for elementary school students.”
“As part of our sexual health education policy approved by the Board of Education in 2013, Chicago Public Schools offers a comprehensive sexual education curriculum that is designed to ensure age-appropriate material and minimum instructional minutes for every grade level, consisting of family and sexual health education topics for K-12 students,” McCaffrey continued.

Only teachers were supposed to see the material, WBBM reported. School officials say they’re taking steps to make sure teacher resources and supplemental materials are kept separate from the curriculum.
CPS passed a new, comprehensive sex ed policy in February 2013. At the school board meeting when the curriculum passed, Dr. Stephanie Whyte, chief officer of student health and wellness at CPS, presented statistics showing that Cook County, Illinois ‒ where Chicago is located ‒ ranks first nationally for rates of gonorrhea and syphilis among all counties and second in Chlamydia, DNAinfo reported.
She said more than half of all CPS high-school students report having had sexual intercourse, 12 percent before the age of 13. More than a third reported not using a condom during their last sexual intercourse, and more than a quarter say they've never been taught about HIV.
In a 2013 press release, CPS officials said implementation of this type of comprehensive education policy "helps to reduce school-level incidents of sexual misconduct and harassment and positively impact rates of [sexually transmitted diseases] and unintended pregnancy among Chicago’s youth."
Many parents told WMAQ that, although they support sex education, the material went too far for elementary school students.
“Sexual awareness, OK ‒ but how to use a condom, and that it was going to be shown how, is a little bit extreme,” said parent Tamara Gear.
"It definitely gets to an inappropriate level, things I wouldn’t even discuss in my own personal life," AJLA parent Rachel Gigliotti said. "Sex with a condom, sex without a condom, sex with lube ‒ things that no sixth grader should ever be exposed to.”
“To tell my 5th-grader, who’s still into ‘Little House on the Prairie,’ that it’s OK to have safe anal sex ‒ I’m sorry. That’s just not appropriate,” another parent, Amy Miller, told WBBM.
Whyte plans to schedule a meeting with the AJLA staff to review the curriculum by grade. A community meeting will also be planned, McCaffrey said.
Harvard University is renowned the world over for the Ivy League education its students are offered, and the curriculum there this week indeed contains a class or two you’d be hard press to find elsewhere.
As part of its annual Sex Week, “a week of programming that is interdisciplinary, thought-provoking, scholastic, innovative and applicable to student experiences in order to promote a holistic understanding of sex and sexuality,” a student-run group at the school will be hosting classes that contrast quite sharply with the comparably run-of-the-mill offerings a Harvard education typically involves.
Starting this Monday, Sex Week attendees can sit-in on events that range from a sexual health career panel on Tuesday evening, to a class offered that afternoon called “What What in the Butt: Anal Sex 101.”
“Come learn everything about anal sex from the experts of Good Vibrations, a sex-positive store located right in Brookline!” reads the course description posted on the official Harvard Sex Week website.
“They will dispel myths about anal sex and give you insight into why people do it and how to do it well.”
According to the website, topics that will be covered during the class include anal anatomy and the potential for pleasure for all genders; how to talk about it with a partner; basic preparation and hygiene; lubes, anal toys, and safer sex; anal penetration for beginners, and much more!
“Learn the facts about this exciting yet often misunderstood form of pleasure, find out the common mistakes people make, and get all your questions answered!” continues the course description.
This year’s session marks the fourth consecutive run of Sex Week at the school, which is coordinated annually by Sexual Health Education & Advocacy throughout Harvard College, or SHEATH, a student-run group that describes itself as being “dedicated to empowering the Harvard community to explore their experiences with love and sex by providing comprehensive programming addressing a wide range of issues relating to sex, relationships, dating, sexual health, and sexuality.”
California Exotic Novelties, “the world’s largest pleasure product company” according to a recent press release, will also be shipping educational materials to the event all the way from the West Coast to Harvard’s Cambridge, Massachusetts campus.
“We’re always honored to support Harvard Sex Week and everything that SHEATH does throughout the year,” CEO
Susan Colvin said in a statement. “We share a common goal: helping people learn and understand sexual wellness.”
Others aren’t so optimistic, though, and have raised concerns about the types of classes that are offered during Sex Week. One Harvard student, Molly Wharton, reportedly told The College Fix website that she wasn’t initially well versed in what this year’s installment will involve, but added, “after looking at the schedule of events, though, I do question the amount of time and resources that went into planning and funding these events, some of which are downright vulgar, at a place like Harvard.”
“I can’t imagine that there are not more worthwhile educational programs and initiatives to which Harvard’s resources should be devoted,” the student said.
A review of the SHEATH website, however, suggests that such concerns aren’t likely to cause any changes: according to the group’s site, the anal sex class has previously been offered to attendees at least once, during Sex Week 2012.
